15Growing Prosperity – Why Limit Prosperity to Only One Area of Your Life?
Filed in: Biblical Prosperity by Admin on 07-15-10Growing Prosperity – Why Limit Prosperity to Only One Area of Your Life?
Would You Like to Successfully Prosper in More Areas of Your Life?
Growing prosperity is possible in all areas of your life.
Do you limit it to only one?
Many people find they limit prosperity to only one or two areas because they are diligent in only those areas.
For example, some are successful in the area of healing and walking in divine health, but fail when it comes to financial prosperity.
Why does this happen? The answer given to this question is often that it must not be God’s will that a person be prosperous or healed.
Knowledge of God’s Willingness to Prosper
It is key that we have the knowledge of God’s willingness to prosper us.
“Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.” – 2 Peter 1:2
We are often like the leper in the first chapter of Mark that knows God is able, but questions whether or not He is willing. But Jesus answered the man’s question saying, “I will” and then healing power flowed into the leper’s life.
Does God want us poor? We need to answer the poverty question if we want to see prosperity come.
We need to know God will and not doubt about His willingness. God’s willingness and prosperity is multiplied to us through the knowledge of God. As we gain the knowledge of God, we gain faith in that knowledge, and in turn see grace multiplied to us.
Get a Healthy Attitude Toward Prosperity In Every Area
If we spend our time with a focus on healing, we will enjoy prosperous health. But then we might struggle to prosper financially. It is important to find a balance.
Our thinking and believing needs to line up with the Word of God, rather than letting preconceived ideas rule that may be contrary to God’s will. If a person believes that it is a sin to have money or live in a nice house, they will have contrary thoughts and attitudes that prevent growing prosperity.
If our mind is not prosperous in a certain area, then usually we will not prosper in that area. If it is the area of finances, then we may not give much because we don’t believe God wants us to have anything. Then because we never believe for a return, even if it comes, we miss it. To reap a financial harvest, it takes a prosperous attitude.
We can prosper in even the little things in life. When we meditate on the Word of God daily, renew our minds, and purpose to live in line with His will, God says, “Whatever you do shall prosper.” (Psalm 1:3)
Make no mistake about it: God is willing to use His power and ability to prosper us. His peace is multiplied to us through the knowledge of God. Peace is prosperity because it joins us together as one with Jesus, and that is prosperity any way you look at it.
May you gain the knowledge of God’s willingness to fill your life with growing prosperity!

07Growing Prosperity – How Can You Be Prosperity Minded and Live in Increasing Abundance?
Filed in: Law of Attraction by Admin on 07-07-10Growing Prosperity – How Can You Be Prosperity Minded and Live in Increasing Abundance?
Tapping Into the Wealth and Abundance that Surrounds You!
Growing prosperity is within your reach…
Even if your current circumstances are weighing you down
with financial lack, debt, and no seemingly visible way out;
there is hope.
The truth is, we are surrounded by abundance…
and we can tap into it by becoming prosperity minded.
A Technique to Start Attracting Abundance
One of the reasons that wealthy people have money is that they have learned to be prosperity minded. They have wealth because they feel comfortable about it.
How do you go about developing a prosperous mindset yourself? Here is a simple technique you can begin using right away to start attracting wealth or any other form of abundance you desire.
To develop a prosperous mindset, start seeing yourself in your mind’s eye, already in possession of the abundance you desire. Take time daily to visualize your life as you would have it to be. Close your eyes and envision and feel yourself there.
By gaining a prosperous mindset you’ll soon become much more comfortable with the thought of wealth and abundance in your life. As a result, you will start attracting it to you.
Just a Game, or a Technique for Increasing Abundance?
Does this just sound like a silly game of playing pretend? Let me assure you, getting control of your thought life is one of the wisest things you can do.
“People that think wrong believe wrong, and when they believe wrong, they act wrong.”
– Kenneth E. Hagin
There is power in moving your visualizations into your subconscious. Why? Because the subconscious does not distinguish between the mere visualization and the actual possession.
What does this mean? Once you succeed in planting abundant thoughts into your subconscious mind, and it feels comfortable to prosper, your subconscious mind will automatically seek ways to make those thoughts and feelings of abundance manifest themselves in a material form.
If becoming prosperity minded seems like a silly ‘head’ game, it’s not. Go ahead and put this technique into action for awhile and it will start to make a lot more sense to you. Once you succeed at becoming comfortable seeing yourself living in increasing abundance, don’t be surprised to see it also start manifesting in your life.
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
– Romans 12:2
God wants to see His children prosper and He tells us how to do it in His Word. Take time to renew your mind to line up with the Word of God so that your desires and circumstances can also change and line up with His will for your life.
Believe me. Once you put this technique into action and choose to be prosperity minded, you can expect to start seeing a growing transformation in your life. If you are ready to move from lack to overflow, then now is the time to begin to foster a prosperous mindset and tap into the surrounding flow of abundance.
May you be prosperity minded and live in growing prosperity!
God Bless You and Be Blessed to Be a Blessing!

21Growing Prosperity – A Powerful Secret to Manifest an Abundant Harvest!
Filed in: Biblical Prosperity by Admin on 06-21-10Growing Prosperity – A Powerful Secret to Manifest an Abundant Harvest!
How to Plant the Seed of Faith and Harvest Abundance
Manifesting an abundant harvest requires planting the seed first.
Who would expect a farmer to reap a harvest without having planted seed months earlier?
As believers operating by faith, we also need to follow this example; naturally and spiritually.
What is the secret to getting this process going?
2 Great Faith Secrets to Planting Seed
Jesus tells us how to plant the seed of faith. He tells us in Luke 17 that if we had faith as a seed, we would speak to the situation or problem area in our life. He gives us two great faith secrets: ONE; that faith works like a seed, and TWO; the way to plant it is to speak it.
“If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
– Matthew 17:20
In order to manifest a harvest we have to plant the seed by speaking. Our faith must be mixed with the promised seed of God’s Word. The life is in the seed and the way to plant it is by saying it, speaking it, proclaiming it.
The Law of Seedtime and Harvest
Many people don’t know how they got in the mess they are in. However, most of the time, the problem is their mouth. The mouth can deceive the heart. What we say is what we sow, and too often we are sowing the exact thing we do not want!
Have you ever heard the following?: ‘We’re going broke,’ ‘I never have enough,’ ‘I can never get ahead,’ ‘Nothing ever works out for me,’ ‘I’m afraid I’ll lose my job,’ ‘I always get sick.’
Speaking and praying the things we don’t want only opens the door to fear, and then fear replaces our faith. The things we say are the things we will reap. (Mark 11:23) This really is no great secret.
“Be not deceived, God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
– Galatians 6:7
With seedtime and harvest we also need to take into account the time factor. Sowing is a process. Sure, there will be some who are highly developed in their faith and see the manifestation of some things very quickly. But the normal way of faith and confession is to start sowing weeks and months before the time the harvest is needed; just like the farmer who plans and prepares ahead of time.
Manifesting an Abundant Harvest
The kingdom within you has been sown with the seed of what you have been speaking. And the sowing and reaping process works for you just as it does for the farmer who goes to sleep, and gets up, and the ground brings forth the fruit.
Begin sowing seeds of abundance by speaking something such as:
“My God supplies all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus; I have abundance and prosper; because I have given, it is given unto me good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over.”
You say and sow these incorruptible seeds concerning finances, and then while you are sleeping, they go to work to manifest a harvest in your life. One day you will wake up and see the seeds you have planted and watered begin to sprout.
Do yourself a favor: Take the promises of God’s Word and mix your faith with them. Mix your faith with the Word and plant it in your heart by speaking it. The life is in the seed; in the promise of God. So if you plant the promises of God in your heart, you can expect to manifest an abundant harvest.
May you sow the seeds of God’s abundant promises by faith and reap a life of growing prosperity!

16Expect Abundance – How to Use Expectation to Trigger the Law of Attraction!
Filed in: Law of Attraction by Admin on 06-16-10Expect Abundance – How to Use Expectation to Trigger the Law of Attraction!
Increase the Flow of Wealth Into Your Material World
Expecting abundance is a powerful force.
What are you doing to generate increase?
Wealth will not come into your material world…
until you first expectantly visualize the wealth in your mind.
But what does that really mean?
Prospering Internally
Before we can begin to overcome the poverty surrounding us in our external world, we need to claim victory over the impoverishment buried deep within ourselves. Prosperity begins with an inward awareness that an unlimited supply abounds within the spiritual realm all around us.
“It’s almost as if there is an invisible reservoir of abundance in the universe that can be tapped if you will just obey certain spiritual laws.”
– Norman Vincent Peale
It is impossible to feel poor with an understanding and consciousness of being surrounded by the infinite God of the universe; a God that never lacks. The lack that we experience in life is simply caused from our own limited awareness.
The Light Bulb Story
There is a story told of a poor couple that moves into a small village and is astonished to discover their new home is lighted by electricity. They had no prior experience with the power and force of electricity and they never saw an electric light before.
After several months, the couple adjusts to this new found discovery when a salesman stops by and recommends they upgrade their 8 watt bulbs with 60 watt bulbs; to better meet their needs. Once the new bulb is plugged in, the entire room is illuminated.
The couple never imagined, in their wildest dreams that the source of this new flood of magnificent light had been there all the time. They didn’t know this abundant increase of light could come from the same current that was feeding their 8 watt bulb.
Plugging Into Abundance with Expectation
The truth is; most of us are even less aware of the power available to us than this couple was of the electric power current. We never dream that the infinite, abundant, current which surrounds us could flood our lives with light more magnificent than the most powerful light bulb.
In order to experience increase we need to plug a larger, more prosperous, expectant idea into the current of the infinite abundance of God. Unfortunately though, most of us strangle our supply with negative energized thoughts of doubt, fear, and poverty; which only cutoff the inflow of prosperity.
Now is the time to change that negative, habitual, pattern of thinking. Remember, the stream of plenty flows toward the expectant mind. We must live by faith expecting to receive.
Firmly establish the desired goal in your mind and live expectant. Expect good things to happen. Expect to be blessed. Imagine already being in possession of wealth and develop the prosperity you seek in your mind first. Know where you are and where you are going; and expect to get there!
Allow your expectation to trigger the attractive force that will help move your desired goals in your direction.
“As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”
– Proverbs 23:7
Let the law of attraction help manifest your prosperous thoughts.
Remember: As you think means the innermost thoughts of your heart; which you control. That is what you expect, what you attract, and what you will ultimately receive.
May you live by faith, expecting to attract a life of growing prosperity!

09Growing Prosperity – Generosity is Like the Secret Sauce of the Abundant Life!
Filed in: Biblical Prosperity by Admin on 06-09-10Growing Prosperity – Generosity is Like the Secret Sauce of the Abundant Life!
How to Virtually Guarantee You Will Experience Growing Prosperity?
Growing prosperity will flourish when generosity is a daily part of life.
Generosity is like the secret sauce of an abundant life because it causes a person to receive more than they give…
Sound impossible?
It is said that the two greatest motivating forces in a person’s life are their desire for gain and their fear of loss. Generosity directly affects both.
Generosity Equals Growing Prosperity
If there was something you could do to virtually guarantee you would never lack for your physical needs, and that you would experience growing prosperity, would you want to know what it is? Well good news, because that something is available to you today. All you have to do is to become truly generous.
The wise Solomon tells us that if we are generous we will never lack for anything, but every true need will be provided and we will have growing prosperity. (Proverbs 11:24-25)
A generous person readily and freely gives a considerable portion of what they have to meet the needs of others and they do so without any expectation of getting something in return. And being generous isn’t just limited to financial and material generosity. It is actually about meeting the real needs of others, regardless of whether it is with your finances, actions, or emotional help.
Too many people think they have to be rich before they can be generous. But this is simply not true. We all have something to give, such as; time, kind words, thoughtfulness, and considerate acts.
Additional Benefits of Generosity
Generosity is one of the most admired characteristics anyone can express. Think about the business man who donates large amounts to charity, or the child who gives his hard-earned allowance to a disaster relief, or the elderly woman who freely gives a portion of what little food she has to a food drive. We appreciate and admire their generous giving.
However, appreciation and admiration are not the only benefits of generosity. A generous person will experience heartfelt joy when they help meet the needs of others. They will be happier and find that just as they refresh others, they too are refreshed. Their own needs will be abundantly supplied for.
“There is one who scatters, yet increases more;
And there is one who withholds more than is right,
But it leads to poverty.
The generous soul will be made rich,
And he who waters will also be watered himself.”
– Proverbs 11:24-25
What about those who are not generous? Well the same proverb previously mentioned says they will fall into poverty. This could be financial or material poverty, or emotional poverty. They tend to never be satisfied with what they have and continually need more.
Why not choose to develop your generous side? Generosity begins in the heart and is expressed through action. Extending generosity to others is a win-win situation. As you willingly bless others, watch as your own needs are abundantly supplied for in life.
May you be generous always and enjoy growing prosperity!

08Why in the World Would God Allow a Sincere Believer to Undergo Attacks of Evil?
Filed in: Spiritual Warfare by Admin on 06-08-10Why in the World Would God Allow a Sincere Believer to Undergo Attacks of Evil?
Spiritual Warfare – If God is For Us, How Can He Allow Such Difficult Seasons of Trials and Attacks to Come In Our Life?
Spiritual warfare is a part of life that many people prefer to ignore and overlook.
However, on a daily basis, we experience all kinds of attacks and temptations from the unseen world; some more intense than others.
Under typical conditions, most godly people will walk steadfast throughout life. Not perfect, but in victory.
God develops strength in us through tests and trials. But why would God allow us to go through intense evil attacks? Well, since God’s ways and thoughts are higher than ours, we can’t completely understand; but there are some answers available to us.
Tests and Temptations of Life
God may test us, but He never tempts us to sin. And He always provides a way of escape for us.
“There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it.”
– 1 Corinthians 10:13
We see temptation come through a couple of obvious sources. One is the devil and the other our own lusts. (1 Thessalonians 3:5, James 1:14)
The Example of Job
Before the devil can wage an all out war on a believer, he first has to get God’s permission. Look at Job, for example, and how God allowed him to be tested so harshly. Why? Because God had faith in Job. And Job, having no idea what was going on in the unseen world during his attacks, proved to be faithful to God.
Sometimes in life, the heat is turned up and it is battle on, and things can seem unbearable. But that is when we need to stand firm and trust God. Remember, God is for us and we can come through victorious just like Job!
“Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.
Put on the whole armor of God,
that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take to you the whole armor of God,
that you may be able to withstand in the evil day,
and having done all, to stand.”
– Ephesians 6:10-13
No matter how bad we get knocked down we need to call on the power of God and get back up!
The Example of Peter
Another example is Simon Peter. Satan wanted permission to attack Peter and attempt to cause him to lose his faith. But God had a different purpose for allowing the shaking. When Simon Peter’s self-confidence was shaken he was brought closer to a true foundation of trust in the Lord, and better equipped to strengthen his brothers.
“Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat.
But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail.
And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”
– Luke 22: 31-32
Jesus did not pray that Simon Peter would escape the sifting, but that his faith would not fail in the process.
Why Does God Allow the Attacks?
We see in these examples that the devil can seek permission to come at us with intense attacks. God also allows him permission sometimes. And even though it is not a happy thought, in each of these examples they were tested by God through Satan.
All of us will be tested so we can be refined like gold. None of us will escape some degree of it.
“When He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.”
– Job 23:10
“Greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, you are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.”
– 1 Peter 1:6-7
God knows what He is doing. And what Satan intends for evil, our faithful God intends for good.
“The very God of peace sanctify you wholly;
and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body
be preserved blameless to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Faithful is He that calls you, who also will do it.”
– 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
Make no mistake about it: God is faithful and He will do whatever it takes to sanctify us to fulfill our calling. Yes, there are things going on out there that we just don’t understand. But if the enemy has been allowed to attack, and we go through a season of severe sifting, we still have to trust God.
May you faithfully trust God in all seasons and live a life of growing prosperity!
God bless you always,
Brenda

18Abundant Living – Do You Want Prosperity or the Empowerment to Prosper?
Filed in: Biblical Prosperity by Admin on 05-18-10Abundant Living – Do You Want Prosperity or the Empowerment to Prosper?
The Blessing of the Lord it Maketh Rich!
Abundant living is the result of choosing to become empowered to prosper.
Many people are convinced that the prosperity of God translates to money and stuff raining down out of heaven.
However that is not the prosperity of God, but actually prosperity from God.
What’s the difference between prosperity and the empowerment to prosper?
Making the Choice that Results in Abundant Living!
In Proverbs 10:22, it says, “The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich.” Notice it does not say the blessings make you rich; it is the blessing of God that is the key here.
What this means is that you want the empowerment to prosper and not just the prosperity itself. You don’t just want the fish; you want to learn how to fish.
When Abraham prospered, it wasn’t because God dropped down a camel or a son out of the sky. No, he was blessed because God empowered him to prosper. For example, he and his wife were given the ability to parent a child at an old age.
And the good news is that God has given you the ability to gain wealth and prosper.
Getting Empowered to Prosper
Power comes when believers put the principles of God’s Word to work in their life. It is your faith that will manifest results. Wisdom is also needed for you to understand and apply the Word of God in order to receive prosperity. Wisdom will help you realize the power available to you through your faith.
In order to experience prosperity, we must apply God’s principles by faith.
God is the one that does the multiplying and gives us the desires and ideas. He is the divine instructor that tells us what to do. And when we over, and over, apply the principles of the Word concerning prosperity, and make them part of our daily life, that’s when we start getting results.
Remember, prosperity doesn’t just drop in our lap. Re-enforcing the Word through daily meditation on prosperity principles should become a lifestyle. If we want to be a prosperous person tomorrow, we have to apply God’s principles of sowing and reaping in the difficult times of lack today.
Start with the faith you now have and then gain knowledge and wisdom concerning what the Word really says about finances. Act on that knowledge and mix your faith with it and you’ll soon start getting desirable results.
Make the following your regular confession:
“Today, I live in the blessing of God and I am empowered to prosper in every way!”
Keep in touch with God so you can be empowered to live an abundant life. Put yourself in position for God to empower you to prosper in everything you set your hands to do.
Then, when the economy takes a downturn or the storms of life blow through, you can say, “So What!” because you’ll know you are empowered to prosper. You can know God will take care of you, and will honor His Word by prospering the work of your hands.
Believe it or not: God wants you blessed and empowered to prosper. He’s looking for ways to bless you. He wants to help you out in life and give you good success. Go ahead and believe it, because that is a key factor in what it takes to get it.
May you live empowered to prosper and experience an abundant life of growing prosperity!
Be blessed to be a blessing -
God bless you,

11Growing Prosperity – How Can the Power of Patience Help You Prosper?
Filed in: Biblical Prosperity by Admin on 05-11-10Growing Prosperity – How Can the Power of Patience Help You Prosper?
The Power of Patience in an “I Want It Now” World!
Growing prosperity and a look at the power of patience…
for a society that wants to pick-up their prosperity -
like a drive thru meal.
Can anybody argue with the fact that:
we are now living in a microwave culture?
We now have all sorts of things from…
fast food, spray on tans, instant text messaging around the world…
to drive-thru marriage ceremonies.
The “I Want It Now” Prosperity
Most people are in a hurry to receive whatever it is they desire to have, and almost everyone wants it right now!
Unfortunately, the microwave attitude continues to play a part in much more significant issues in our life. We often approach God and ask him to get involved in a situation only because we want to do everything within our ability to get the answer we want, and that we want right now!
We expect to have God answer each of our prayers by the speed of a microwave dinner, otherwise we start taking matters into our own hands.
The thing is, those that have genuine faith will not be hindered by circumstances or even the passing of time. They will be steadfast, immoveable, unshakeable, habitual, and in addition, just won’t give up until they receive the manifestation of their God breathed prayer.
“Wait patiently for the Lord, be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.”
– Psalm 27:14
Patience to Prosper is Not the Norm
Patiently waiting is a principle to live by. Society will attempt to persuade people that to become a mover and a shaker these days they must win at any cost and also neglect others in their effort to be successful. On the contrary God does not intend we do any harm to others on our individual journey down the path towards prosperity.
God desires our heart to be dedicated to His way, His will, His instruction, His right timing. Many times that may require patiently waiting.
Of course, the things we do when we are patiently waiting are going to make a huge difference. The truth is: a lot of believers regard patiently waiting as wasted time. These people may truly want to see the Lord’s will be accomplished in their life; however they already have been trained to believe that God needs them to physically assist Him out, all of the time.
Patience that Places You in Position to Prosper
Bear in mind, people who wait patiently on the Lord place themselves in position to prosper. Take a look at these verses, and then be aware, the word ‘wait’ means to be available, to be ready, to expect, look, or wait patiently for:
- “Those who wait on the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.” (Psalm 37:9)
- “Blessed are those who wait for His help.” (Isaiah 30:18)
- “The Lord is good to those who wait for Him.” (Lamentations 3:25)
You will discover seasons in your life when God desires that you seek His presence and not seek Him just for his provision. In this fast paced world it is easy to get our priorities out of order.
Start patiently waiting on the Lord. Seek Him in prayer. Expect to see His promises fulfilled. Wait patiently for Him to set you up for future blessings. Worship Him. Many Christians will say this is time just wasted sitting around. But no!
Truth is: Patiently waiting on God requires faith, prayer, courage, and bravery. It takes a completely surrendered heart that trusts God, and believes His perfect timing is better than ours and will put us in the position to prosper.
May your patience increase as you wait on the Lord and position yourself for growing prosperity!
Be blessed to be a blessing -
Cheers,
Brenda
