I loved your story on the bed …because I have recently acquired “princess” beds for myself and my two daughters

Praise the Lord, and I thank Him…when I moved to the Great Lakes area there had been a drought of 10 years. I prayed believing (just me) that He would fill up the lakes. Against all scientific weather forecasts He filled them up in one year! Only one of my friends knew I was “doing this” through God, and she, not a believer–more a new-ager (anything goes). So I wanted to tell everyone how good God is for the little and big things.

Tomorrow I turn 52: pray for quickening of this body, requesting a lightness, and a flat belly, a smoothness, resilience and beauty in preparation for marriage as I have just prayed with my daughters for a particular man to be my husband. In the natural he’s been in my life since 6 months after I was saved when I walked into a church for the first time in about 30 years (apparently he showed up to that church for the first time on that same day, as well…everybody kept asking me “Do you know Jake?”). We like each other, have been out as friends many times, and I helped him get an “A” when he was studying a new course in nursing. And he helped me make the big move from the west coast to the Great Lakes, near Niagara Falls). We are in touch although he is on the other side of the country, I came home almost two years ago (his family is out here, too). All these years (5) I have not prayed about this, except generally, but suddenly today my children said I should marry him. If I ever spoke of marrying they shut me down, because their father and I were separated, then divorced, these past dozen years.

Pray for my unbelief that it is even possible, though I am fairly young looking he is nine years younger, so I am scandalized.

Been a Christian a long time. Husband emotionally and verbally abused me. Divorced 11 years and have never remarrried. He did within a year. When my only child was 16 he convinced him to move in with them leaving me alone. It’s almost like he put a curse on me that I would never prosper of remarry. When we were married he so much verbally and emotionally abused me and said I would die alone. He stayed out all night with this woman and she was married also to someone else. He said he did not want any more kids said he hated kids had to convince him to have one and then he steals him from me. why is God blessing them and not me. I try to do right. I give. I still care for my son. Why does God bless those that do so wrong and not me. I don’t understand it.

Sherry – Know that your situation may be bigger than you, but God is bigger than your situation, keep faith in God!

I pray that God will heal the hurt you have experienced and open your heart to receive love from Him and others. May you be released from anything that is holding you back from reaching your full potential and purpose in life. People can prosper by following natural laws, but without God, it does not satisfy and there is no true prosperity and no peace.

Start speaking and confessing God’s Word out loud over your life daily and you will see change! A couple suggestions to begin with:

I let the peace of God rule in my heart, I give Him thanks, and I refuse to worry about anything.(Col 3:15)

I shall LIVE and NOT die to declare the works of the Lord! (Psalm 118:17)

Praise the Lord for healing. 15 months ago I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma- stage 4. After 4 chemo treatments plus faith & prayer I was given a PET scan which did not detect any cancer cells in my body and I did not have any side effects from the chemo other than losing my hair. I received two more chemo treatments and the Dr. gave me a clean bill of health.

Now I need a break through in the financial area. My desire is to own no man anything except love:Romans 13:8 Please agree with me in prayer for hand of our God to perform a miracle in the area.
May you prosper and be in health is my stronghold.

Prayers of thanksgiving for truck had to be serviced and it was free. Apartment Complex lowered our rent by nearly $400 Dollars and son got to sell a musical instrument so blessing and thanks for these last two weeks.

I have had a difficult two years, and this character-building stuff is wearing me down. My husband’s and my once-successful business has been hugely affected by the dismal economy over the last few years, and I just pulled the last of our savings to get through this month. And I’ve been stress-eating…and have gained 40 pounds in the last 3 years.

The wonderful thing is that my husband and I are still very close and my faith is strong.

I know God wants me to prosper and be in good health. I ask for prayers of courage and strength, guidance and wisdom, prosperity and blessings — and in turn that I be a source of blessings to others.

It is your heritage, your right, to walk in victory. When the enemy shall rise up against you, he will NOT prevail – for the LORD your God has spoken it. All God wants you to do is to believe the integrity of His Word. He will see you out of trouble. Do not allow yourself to get overwhelmed and start talking the problem.

Just Stand On The Word! People may not be able to help you, but God can bring you out.

You are on the right track Bob, in seeking and crying out to God for help. I will pray that God gives you the wisdom and ability you need to turn your situation around.

Check out Psalm 107. It talks about several groups of people that had their lives turned around after crying out to God for mercy in their time of trouble. It doesn’t matter if we bring on the problem or trouble ourselves – we can still call out to God for mercy and help!

“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so…
Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,
And He delivered them out of their distresses.
And He led them forth by the right way…
Oh, that men would give thanks to
the Lord for His goodness…”

I have a very important prayer request that I’ve just written up on a sheet of paper. Pray that God will fully and powerfully answer it. Also, pray that God will purify my heart around this issue.

As long as your prayer request is in line with God’s will, you can stand on the following powerful verses from the Word of God, and be confident that you have the answer.

1 John 5:14-15
“And this is the confidence we have in Him,
that if we ask anything according to His will,
He hears us:
And if we know that He hears us,
whatsover we ask, we know that we have
the petitions that we desired of Him.”

And another verse that all Christians have to turn to, and thank God for, at some point in their journey is: 1 John 1:9

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just
to forgive us our sins, and
cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

I found these comments after a year when I was making some praise reports! Glad to see the thread is still active

One of the commenters said “Focusing on what we do have…” and I wanted to report something wonderful…

I once insisted that God replace my son who died before he turned 10. Having been for prayer at the Healing Room twice a week for a year I experienced much repair and restoration of my broken heart.

God is true and good. The day before yesterday my elder daughter announced her engagement, and my younger daughter and I met the parents and the twin brothers. They are believers and eager to join the families together…so that means in a year when they are married I will have 3 new sons!!!

Though I am not married I am in the purification time…detox and whatnot, happy no matter what.

If you’d like to join me I am praying big just now: against chemtrails, for blue skies (worldwide) and real clouds. Already, when I prayed on my knees “Lord, do something about these chemtrails!” we had sudden and prolonged high winds and heavy heavy rains to wash and clean everything away

Everyday I look up and see them spraying over my hometown and I’m not going to put up with it. I see it’s a worldwide evil. No matter, I have seen God do wondrously again and again and again!

I ask for your help and prayers. My family is struggling financially and while I believe in moving forward in faith, I am trying to stay positive and joyful and encouraged by God’s Blessings. The biggest issue I am dealing with is my husband’s anger towards the economy and it spilling over into small flare ups. He is not violent at all, but I can tell he is starting to be unkind to himself, calling himself an idiot or a loser — when he is none of that.

I ask for prayers for his comfort, and for my tolerance. It upsets me and I start crying when he gets mad at himself these days.

I would like to request prayer for my business. I thank God for all his blessings, but i want to experience true abundance. I’m a faithful tither and giver and I want to really experience the open windows of heaven. Please pray for my understanding of this. To me, tithing is a commitment made from the heart and to do in good times and bad. I love the verse “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Luke 12:34) I appreciate that I can keep my heart toward God by financially giving into His kingdom work.

Here is a quote from a book I’m reading called the “Path to Wealth”:
“There may be men whose faith has been tried, but God always comes to the rescue in the right time.
It is not supposed that men who tithe their incomes will never have business perplexities and difficulties;
but I do state, having the Bible to back me, and having all the experience which is available to confirm the Bible,
that a man who tithes his income, be he rich or poor, takes God into partnership, and God becomes
responsible for that man’s financial success, and pledges His word that he shall be prospered with
earthly or temporal advancement.”

[I can't think of a better partner to have than God! ]

Could you please pray for me. I have been off work because of a injury (back) I was on workers compenstation but as of yesterday they cut me off. I have no income my wife was laid off about a month ago. I have never really had any money to talk about. when I was working we lived paycheck to paycheck. I am a belever in Christ. I have no clue how to do what it is that he is called me to do ! I always seem to come up short and seams like i have no luck on my side.
I need to know how to walk in what God has called me to do. I need breakthrew in Money .
my faith is going down hill fast.
I see that other people have really good jobs and they don’t care . Seams like the people that don’t want the good paying jobs they are the people that get them . where is that fair ?
My father was abused me amotionaly and physcal (sp). He has spoken negitve words over my life for years. he is dead now . I am so sick and tired of just going from one dead end job to the next and have nothing to show for it . I am turly lost . At this moment in time I can’t work , but it looks like I have to beg someone for a job just to live . I am 36 and I walk like I am 70 bent over in 60 degrees of flextion all the time. The doctors don’t really have a clue what is wrong they wont operate on me . I am left to fend for my slef. how is this far I always get the short end of the stick and no one cares .

I will pray for you, Bob. And I encourage you to continue doing the things you already know God wants you to do. Read the Bible daily and seek God in prayer and trust Him for further direction in your life. He will help you understand His will.
