Thank you for this amazing site, I feel blessed to be a part of this family. I have had an on going issure with my breast, been told two different things and had the first Dr to mis diagnose me. Please pray in Jesus name that I do not have cancer, that this is just a very bad infection from the biopsey as I have not had a tetnus shot in 20 years, I pray for direction and guidance. I listen to your podcast everyday, I find such peace an encouragement from it. thatnk you so much. you have no idea what it does for me!..may I ask.. does this power of positive thinking work on marriage? I have been separated for two years and im not ready to let go.. I hav this feeling that God watns me to hold on no matter what my spouse does or says. I have been receiving your e-mails since January of this year, but I saved them and just started reading them tonight. I know one of the reasons we struggle financially and otherwise is because my heart is closed to giving. Just the other day I was at my son’s football banquet and this precious man and his wife were giving my son some much needed advice for his football career. The man started raving about the salad I brought. I had all of the ingredients for another complete salad hanging in a bag from my arm, in case the first one ran out at the banquet. The banquet was over and although I felt the urge to give it to him, I selfishly decided to keep the salad for my family so I wouldn’t have to prepare the ingredients again. I learned later the man and his wife are really struggling financially, but I couldn’t tell because they were so sweet and open and helpful. Please pray to the Father that He will open my heart.
Also, my 15 year old son, the one I mentioned earlier is being so drawn away by the lust of his eyes he doesn’t see the point in working hard to start in football. He blames his coaches for not starting him and then complains about showing up for optional workouts. He blames me and other people for all of the other things going wrong in his life, when he brings it all on himself.
His father has been a practicing drug addict all his life and expects my son to keep up their relationship. Please pray for Josh
AJ, I pray that the Almighty God, who is your exceeding great reward, be your supernatural intervention. May you experience His miracle working power and receive supernatural overflow in the area of finances that you are standing in faith for. Praise God for the Victory over my housing situation. I have been employed for over 2 years. I had to file bankruptcy to keep my parents in their home. I was able to get someone to purchase my home and I would rent until I could purchase it back. I have not be too successful with making the payments and the bankruptcy payment. Today he requested I move, since I can’t pay. I had money coming to me but for some reason there always seem to be another obstacle. Please pray and agree with me for a finanical miracle this week. God have sustained me and kept me and I know he is not going to leave me now. I am a Christian and a tither and a giver. I pray for manifestation of a financial miracle this week. I pray that your family receive deliverance from substance abuse and any evil work of the enemy through God’s mighty working power. Please pray for my family’s deliverance from substance abuse. I am the youngest of a large family and with the exception of myself and one sister, all are on some form of illegal drug. My elderly parents are in the hands of their drug influenced children, and I don’t know how to handle the situation. I need wisdom and deliverance for my family.

And I encourage you – Do Not Lose Faith! God is big enough to turn your situtation around. I know in the midst of the battle it can be easy to lose hope and feel alone. But hang in there because we serve the God of hope and He will never leave us!
God’s Word has power and supersedes any words that people say. And the Word of God says that you are His beloved and He wishes above all things that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.(3 John 2)

Could you please pray for me. I have been off work because of a injury (back) I was on workers compenstation but as of yesterday they cut me off. I have no income my wife was laid off about a month ago. I have never really had any money to talk about. when I was working we lived paycheck to paycheck. I am a belever in Christ. I have no clue how to do what it is that he is called me to do ! I always seem to come up short and seams like i have no luck on my side.

To me, tithing is a commitment made from the heart and to do in good times and bad. I love the verse “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Luke 12:34) I appreciate that I can keep my heart toward God by financially giving into His kingdom work.
Here is a quote from a book I’m reading called the “Path to Wealth”:
“There may be men whose faith has been tried, but God always comes to the rescue in the right time.
It is not supposed that men who tithe their incomes will never have business perplexities and difficulties;
but I do state, having the Bible to back me, and having all the experience which is available to confirm the Bible,
that a man who tithes his income, be he rich or poor, takes God into partnership, and God becomes
responsible for that man’s financial success, and pledges His word that he shall be prospered with
earthly or temporal advancement.”
[I can’t think of a better partner to have than God! 😉 ]
I would like to request prayer for my business. I thank God for all his blessings, but i want to experience true abundance. I’m a faithful tither and giver and I want to really experience the open windows of heaven. Please pray for my understanding of this. I try to take it literally but as of yet I havent experienced “not enough room to receive”. Thank you for the wonderful blessing of this website.

I ask for your help and prayers. My family is struggling financially and while I believe in moving forward in faith, I am trying to stay positive and joyful and encouraged by God’s Blessings. The biggest issue I am dealing with is my husband’s anger towards the economy and it spilling over into small flare ups. He is not violent at all, but I can tell he is starting to be unkind to himself, calling himself an idiot or a loser — when he is none of that.
I ask for prayers for his comfort, and for my tolerance. It upsets me and I start crying when he gets mad at himself these days.

What a great example of faithfully praying and trusting God! I know it can sometimes seem like God hasn’t even heard our prayers… But then in His timing and His way God answers!

One of the commenters said “Focusing on what we do have…” and I wanted to report something wonderful…
I once insisted that God replace my son who died before he turned 10. Having been for prayer at the Healing Room twice a week for a year I experienced much repair and restoration of my broken heart.
God is true and good. The day before yesterday my elder daughter announced her engagement, and my younger daughter and I met the parents and the twin brothers. They are believers and eager to join the families together…so that means in a year when they are married I will have 3 new sons!!!
Though I am not married I am in the purification time…detox and whatnot, happy no matter what.
If you’d like to join me I am praying big just now: against chemtrails, for blue skies (worldwide) and real clouds. Already, when I prayed on my knees “Lord, do something about these chemtrails!” we had sudden and prolonged high winds and heavy heavy rains to wash and clean everything away 🙂
Everyday I look up and see them spraying over my hometown and I’m not going to put up with it. I see it’s a worldwide evil. No matter, I have seen God do wondrously again and again and again!

As long as your prayer request is in line with God’s will, you can stand on the following powerful verses from the Word of God, and be confident that you have the answer.
1 John 5:14-15
“And this is the confidence we have in Him,
that if we ask anything according to His will,
He hears us:
And if we know that He hears us,
whatsover we ask, we know that we have
the petitions that we desired of Him.”
And another verse that all Christians have to turn to, and thank God for, at some point in their journey is: 1 John 1:9
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just
to forgive us our sins, and
cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

I have a very important prayer request that I’ve just written up on a sheet of paper. Pray that God will fully and powerfully answer it. Also, pray that God will purify my heart around this issue.
You are on the right track Bob, in seeking and crying out to God for help. I will pray that God gives you the wisdom and ability you need to turn your situation around.
Check out Psalm 107. It talks about several groups of people that had their lives turned around after crying out to God for mercy in their time of trouble. It doesn’t matter if we bring on the problem or trouble ourselves – we can still call out to God for mercy and help!
“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so…
Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,
And He delivered them out of their distresses.
And He led them forth by the right way…
Oh, that men would give thanks to
the Lord for His goodness…”

It is your heritage, your right, to walk in victory. When the enemy shall rise up against you, he will NOT prevail – for the LORD your God has spoken it. All God wants you to do is to believe the integrity of His Word. He will see you out of trouble. Do not allow yourself to get overwhelmed and start talking the problem.
Just Stand On The Word! People may not be able to help you, but God can bring you out.

I have had a difficult two years, and this character-building stuff is wearing me down. My husband’s and my once-successful business has been hugely affected by the dismal economy over the last few years, and I just pulled the last of our savings to get through this month. And I’ve been stress-eating…and have gained 40 pounds in the last 3 years.
The wonderful thing is that my husband and I are still very close and my faith is strong.
I know God wants me to prosper and be in good health. I ask for prayers of courage and strength, guidance and wisdom, prosperity and blessings — and in turn that I be a source of blessings to others.

Prayers of thanksgiving for truck had to be serviced and it was free. Apartment Complex lowered our rent by nearly $400 Dollars and son got to sell a musical instrument so blessing and thanks for these last two weeks.
I feel for your situation! I to have been saved and walking with the Lord for many years, divorced 7 now and was married to a man that sounds like the same one you were married too! Ha! He went to church with me but his heart was not into it I suppose. He was abusive also and used his $$$ & “power” (influence over my children) and they to left me alone and went after him and his ways and his money. The Bible tells us when we’ve done ALL TO STAND, still STAND. I have and have never regretted it. Although the Lord has brought no one special into my life, I have a stronger relationship with Him, understand Him and His ways far better than I ever would have if everything in my life had been “just lovely” I suppose but I know, I know He didn’t want this for me nor does He want that for you! My ex now has lost the job he had, the kids still “worship” Him and his stronghold over them:( I do not blame the Lord for bringing anyone into my life. Reasons being is we the abused have our issues from years of the abuse and the Lord has nothing to do with that but to help to heal our broken hearts which He continues to do for me and will for you too. His heart has been broken also so therefore He knows. Your life is worth living regardless of a “special” man, regardless of your children. There are many happy singles in the world who have never had these things (marriage or children, the Apostle Paul was one also) so they are a testament to the fact we can lead great lives regardless of these losses. The happiness articles the owner of this website has are great helps. Focusing on what we do have instead of what we’ve lost helps. Deciding to be happy anyways in spite of it all, knowing we are loved by such a beautiful God helps daily and I pray now for you and all the other abused out there that all the negative programming that we have heard for years from our abusers that have destroyed our hopes and dreams of a great future will be cast out of our lives forever in the name of Jesus! God bless you and KNOW, know, know, there are others facing the same sorry lot in life and trying to go on and be happy and thankful anyways.

Praise the Lord for healing. 15 months ago I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma- stage 4. After 4 chemo treatments plus faith & prayer I was given a PET scan which did not detect any cancer cells in my body and I did not have any side effects from the chemo other than losing my hair. I received two more chemo treatments and the Dr. gave me a clean bill of health.
Now I need a break through in the financial area. My desire is to own no man anything except love:Romans 13:8 Please agree with me in prayer for hand of our God to perform a miracle in the area.
May you prosper and be in health is my stronghold.

People can prosper by following natural laws, but without God, it does not satisfy and there is no true prosperity and no peace.
Start speaking and confessing God’s Word out loud over your life daily and you will see change! A couple suggestions to begin with:
I let the peace of God rule in my heart, I give Him thanks, and I refuse to worry about anything.(Col 3:15)
I shall LIVE and NOT die to declare the works of the Lord! (Psalm 118:17)

Been a Christian a long time. Husband emotionally and verbally abused me. Divorced 11 years and have never remarrried. He did within a year. When my only child was 16 he convinced him to move in with them leaving me alone. It’s almost like he put a curse on me that I would never prosper of remarry. When we were married he so much verbally and emotionally abused me and said I would die alone. He stayed out all night with this woman and she was married also to someone else. He said he did not want any more kids said he hated kids had to convince him to have one and then he steals him from me. why is God blessing them and not me. I try to do right. I give. I still care for my son. Why does God bless those that do so wrong and not me. I don’t understand it.

I loved your story on the bed 🙂 …because I have recently acquired “princess” beds for myself and my two daughters 🙂
Praise the Lord, and I thank Him…when I moved to the Great Lakes area there had been a drought of 10 years. I prayed believing (just me) that He would fill up the lakes. Against all scientific weather forecasts He filled them up in one year! Only one of my friends knew I was “doing this” through God, and she, not a believer–more a new-ager (anything goes). So I wanted to tell everyone how good God is for the little and big things.
Tomorrow I turn 52: pray for quickening of this body, requesting a lightness, and a flat belly, a smoothness, resilience and beauty in preparation for marriage as I have just prayed with my daughters for a particular man to be my husband. In the natural he’s been in my life since 6 months after I was saved when I walked into a church for the first time in about 30 years (apparently he showed up to that church for the first time on that same day, as well…everybody kept asking me “Do you know Jake?”). We like each other, have been out as friends many times, and I helped him get an “A” when he was studying a new course in nursing. And he helped me make the big move from the west coast to the Great Lakes, near Niagara Falls). We are in touch although he is on the other side of the country, I came home almost two years ago (his family is out here, too). All these years (5) I have not prayed about this, except generally, but suddenly today my children said I should marry him. If I ever spoke of marrying they shut me down, because their father and I were separated, then divorced, these past dozen years.
Pray for my unbelief that it is even possible, though I am fairly young looking he is nine years younger, so I am scandalized.
