Growing Prosperity – How Can the Power of Patience Help You Prosper?

Growing Prosperity – How Can the Power of Patience Help You Prosper?

The Power of Patience in an “I Want It Now” World!

Growing prosperity and a look at the power of patience…

for a society that wants to pick-up their prosperity -

like a drive thru meal.

Can anybody argue with the fact that:

we are now living in a microwave culture?

We now have all sorts of things from…

fast food, spray on tans, instant text messaging around the world…

to drive-thru marriage ceremonies.

The “I Want It Now” Prosperity

Most people are in a hurry to receive whatever it is they desire to have, and almost everyone wants it right now!

Unfortunately, the microwave attitude continues to play a part in much more significant issues in our life. We often approach God and ask him to get involved in a situation only because we want to do everything within our ability to get the answer we want, and that we want right now!

We expect to have God answer each of our prayers by the speed of a microwave dinner, otherwise we start taking matters into our own hands.

The thing is, those that have genuine faith will not be hindered by circumstances or even the passing of time. They will be steadfast, immoveable, unshakeable, habitual, and in addition, just won’t give up until they receive the manifestation of their God breathed prayer.

“Wait patiently for the Lord, be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.”
– Psalm 27:14

Patience to Prosper is Not the Norm

Patiently waiting is a principle to live by. Society will attempt to persuade people that to become a mover and a shaker these days they must win at any cost and also neglect others in their effort to be successful. On the contrary God does not intend we do any harm to others on our individual journey down the path towards prosperity.

God desires our heart to be dedicated to His way, His will, His instruction, His right timing. Many times that may require patiently waiting.

Of course, the things we do when we are patiently waiting are going to make a huge difference. The truth is: a lot of believers regard patiently waiting as wasted time. These people may truly want to see the Lord’s will be accomplished in their life; however they already have been trained to believe that God needs them to physically assist Him out, all of the time.

Patience that Places You in Position to Prosper

Bear in mind, people who wait patiently on the Lord place themselves in position to prosper. Take a look at these verses, and then be aware, the word ‘wait’ means to be available, to be ready, to expect, look, or wait patiently for:

  • “Those who wait on the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.” (Psalm 37:9)
  • “Blessed are those who wait for His help.” (Isaiah 30:18)
  • “The Lord is good to those who wait for Him.” (Lamentations 3:25)

You will discover seasons in your life when God desires that you seek His presence and not seek Him just for his provision. In this fast paced world it is easy to get our priorities out of order.

Start patiently waiting on the Lord. Seek Him in prayer. Expect to see His promises fulfilled. Wait patiently for Him to set you up for future blessings. Worship Him. Many Christians will say this is time just wasted sitting around. But no!

Truth is: Patiently waiting on God requires faith, prayer, courage, and bravery. It takes a completely surrendered heart that trusts God, and believes His perfect timing is better than ours and will put us in the position to prosper.

May your patience increase as you wait on the Lord and position yourself for growing prosperity!

Be blessed to be a blessing -

Cheers,
Brenda

A Desire in the Heart and Magnetizing Thoughts

Filed in: Law of Attraction by Admin on 05-07-10

A Desire in the Heart and Magnetizing Thoughts

Dare to Listen to the Voice of God Calling You!

Young or old…

it is never too late to reach out and manifest those dreams and desires that God has placed on your heart…

The following is an excerpt from “How to Get What You Want” by Orison Swett Marden…

Enjoy the following, which is taken from chapter 2 of Marden’s book:

===========

“‘Think the things you want.’ The profoundest philosophy is locked up in these few words.

Think of them clearly, persistently, concentrating upon them with all the force and might of your mind, and struggle toward them with all your energy. This is the way to make yourself a magnet for the things you want.

But the moment you begin to doubt, to worry, to fear, you demagnetize yourself, and the things you desire flee from you. You drive them away by your mental attitude.

They cannot come near you while you are deliberately separating yourself from them. You are going in one direction, and the things you want are going in the opposite direction.

“A desire in the heart for anything,” says H. Emilie Cady, “is God’s sure promise sent beforehand to indicate that it is yours already in the limitless realm of supply.”

No matter how discouraging your present outlook, how apparently unpromising your future, cling to your desire and you will realize it. Picture the ideal conditions, visualize the success, which you long to attain; imagine yourself already in the position you are ambitious to reach.

Do not acknowledge limitations, do not allow any other suggestion to lodge in your mind than the success you long for, the conditions you aspire to.

Picture your desires as actually realized, and hold fast to your vision with all the tenacity you can muster. This is the way out of your difficulties; this is the way to open the door ahead of you to the place higher up, to better and brighter conditions.

When Clifton Crawford, the actor, started on his career in America, he played in one-week performances in small towns and cities. One night he was told by a prominent member of the company that his work wasn’t much good, that he would never be successful, and had better go back home to Scotland.

Notwithstanding this discouraging but well-meant criticism and advice, young Crawford remained in America, continued in his profession and in a comparatively short time reached the coveted position of a Broadway ’star.’

After his first success in New York he had the satisfaction of meeting the friend who had advised him to return to his own country, and reminded him of the incident.

Clifton Crawford won out because he related himself mentally to the thing he wanted, because he listened to the voice in his own soul rather than to the pessimistic predictions of outside voices.

“Why has the heart restless yearnings
For heights and steps untrod?
Some call it the voice of longing
And others the voice of God.”

That something within you which longs to be brought out, to be expressed, is the voice of God calling to you.

Don’t disregard it.

Don’t be afraid of your longings; there is divinity in them. Don’t try to strangle them because you think they are much too extravagant, too Utopian.

The Creator has not given you a longing to do that which you have no ability to do.

One reason why the lives of many of us are so narrow and pinched, small and common-place, is because we are afraid to fling out our desires, our longings, afraid to visualize them.

We become so accustomed to putting our confidence only in things that we see on the physical plane, in the material that is real to the senses, that it is very difficult for us to realize that the capital power, the force that does things, resides in the mind.

Instead of believing in our possession of the things we desire, we believe in our limitations, in our restrictions.

We demagnetize ourselves by wrong thinking and lack of faith.

We see only the obstacles in our path, and forget that man, working with God, is greater than any obstacle that can oppose itself to his will.” — Orison Swett Marden

=====================

“Be followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”
– Hebrews 6:12

God bless you,
Brenda

Growing Prosperity – To Be Blessed or Not To Be Blessed? That is the Question!

Filed in: Biblical Prosperity by Admin on 05-02-10

Growing Prosperity – To Be Blessed or Not To Be Blessed? That is the Question!

Why Not Grab Hold of a More Sure Force to Help You Prosper in Life?

Growing prosperity manifests much quicker when the blessing of God is present in your life.

However, the sad fact of the matter is that most people have bought into the “luck” system…

They believe that some people are just plain lucky and others are not. And if you don’t happen to be one of the lucky ones, well then, you are just “out of luck” and should never expect to prosper.

Well I’m here to tell you, the force you want present, in order to experience a life of growing prosperity, is the blessing of the God!

Yes, those who are blessed are obviously happy, and that happiness is on top of divine favor, and supernatural opportunities the blessing of God provides.

Do you want to be blessed or take your chance with luck?

Blessed and Highly Favored

How do you get the blessing? It simply requires switching from believing in the “luck” system, to believing in the blessing of God, and putting your faith in God.

First things first. Gaining knowledge and understanding of the blessing of God is required before believing and receiving it. The blessing of the Lord is important to God and He wants to see His children blessed.

In Numbers 6:23-27, He even gave specific instructions on how to bless them. They were told to say the following:

“The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”

After that God tells them He will put His blessing on them.

People used to take their children to Jesus and He would bless them. The last order of business Jesus did on this earth was to give a blessing. (Luke 24:50) God sent Jesus to bless us. (Acts 4:26)

A Blessing of Supernatural Abundance

In order to connect with the blessing of God and get results that manifest in life, it is important to mix your faith with it. God told Abraham he would bless him so great he would be a blessing to the whole world. (Genesis 12:3) Believers inherit the blessing of Abraham by faith. (Galatians 3:8-9) Faith requires believing and obeying the Word of God. Once you believe in the blessing and mix faith with it, it can increase!

“There is no telling where the blessing will end when you believe God.”
– Smith Wigglesworth

“Blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.” (Luke 1:45) God wants us to grab hold of His word in the same way. He wants us to boldly say in faith that we trust Him to do what He has promised. God is pleased when we manifest a faith that holds Him to His word.

The blessing of the Lord is supernatural and gives access to all the resources of heaven. You are called to carry a blessing and bless others. (Genesis 12:2) And remember, others can’t curse what God has blessed. (Numbers 22:12)

What is stopping you from being blessed? The blessing of God is yours if you want it. You can know it is for you and boldly claim it by faith. Get knowledge of it, believe it, speak it, and enjoy the benefits of abundant prosperity from it in all areas of your life; spiritually, mentally, physically, and financially.

May you tap into the blessing of God and experience a life of growing prosperity!

Be blessed to be a blessing -

Prosperous Living – Shortcut Your Path to Wealth by Acknowledging the True Source of Abundance!

Filed in: Biblical Prosperity by Admin on 04-05-10

Prosperous Living – Shortcut Your Path to Wealth by Acknowledging the True Source of Abundance!

Who Do You Acknowledge and Trust to Supply Your Needs in Life?

Prosperous living requires taking a drive…

on the path to wealth.

One of the primary shortcuts,

in reaching our destination,

involves acknowledging the true source of abundance.

One Infinite Source

There is only one true source in the universe that holds unlimited supply. God it the true source of all wealth; including financial wealth and spiritual and physical prosperity.

It is important to understand that when we acknowledge God as our source, temporary financial struggles no longer need to dictate our outcome. Why? Because, there are many ways and means that God can use to supply our needs. And His supply never runs dry.

God is the source and everyone else is His instrument.  Many people make the mistake of thinking that their job is the source of their supply. But they need to realize that God is the source, and He simply uses their work as a means to let the funds flow to them.

“My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches.”
– Philippians 4:19

Notice it says ‘My God’, not the company you work for. God is your source.

An Invisible Reservoir of Abundance

Norman Vincent Peale talks about an invisible reservoir of abundance in the universe. This is a great image of the abundance of God.

As we continually acknowledge God as the source of our supply, we’ll find that we are divinely guided on our path to wealth. God is able to make a way when there seems to be no way. Realize it is our choice to recognize God’s power and ownership over everything. And remember we are only stewards of what He supplies us.

Putting our faith and trust in a job, a person, or any other income source, has been proven to be a letdown at one time or another in life.

Prosperity is the result of our choice to accept and trust that God’s ways are higher than ours. When we live by His ways, they will guide us on the path to wealth and allow us to tap into the invisible reservoir of abundance…

We will then be like trees planted by rivers of water and prospering in everything we put our hand to. (Psalm 1:3)

Make no mistake about it: We will never go wrong acknowledging God as the source of our supply. However, be fair warned, if we choose not to, we can expect a lot of detours on our path to wealth.

May your eyes always be fixed on God as your source and may your life be filled with growing prosperity!

Growing Prosperity: Renewed Thinking to Live in the Abundant Provision of God!

Filed in: Law of Prosperity by Admin on 03-27-10

Growing Prosperity: Renewed Thinking to Live in the Abundant Provision of God!

Manifest Growing Prosperity with Growing Faith

Growing Prosperity comes with a growing faith.

Are you, like many believers, overwhelmed with living by faith?

Does it seem too hard to live in the lifestyle God has laid out?

Really it is a whole lot easier to do what God says, because then we don’t have to figure it all out our self. We don’t have to worry and stress. There is peace in taking it one day at a time.

God has already made available a great abundant provision for us. Manifesting growing prosperity in our lives simply requires living by faith and obeying God’s steps to receive. And this requires getting control of our thought life right from the start.

Renewed Thinking

The New Year is always a great time to get a fresh perspective and start anew. But we don’t have to wait until the first of every year. Today is always a great day to renew our thinking.

God never intended living by faith and acting on His Word to overwhelm us. We need to refuse to think God’s ways are too hard.

When we have a positive outlook it is much easier for God to help us out – because He doesn’t have to fight our mind so much! And, we are able to adjust to life changes a lot easier.

We need to be of the mindset that:

  • It is easy to live debt-free.
  • It is easy to live healed.
  • It is easy to walk in love.

We need to get into the Word and let it stir our faith and let the Word start renewing our mind in the areas we struggle with - so that we not only see it is possible, but inevitable. God’s Word will work!

Abundant Provision of God

I’m sure that just like me, what you want is to live in the abundant provision God has made available to us.

Living in the abundance of God requires action on our part. However, before we can act and be successful, we have to be thinking right. Right thinking allows us to act on the Word and receive what God has for us sooner.

It is not that hard to believe God!

Spend time with God and let Him refresh you. Let God be God of every area of your lifespiritually, physically, and financially. Then He can bless you in all those areas.

Biblical prayer and meditation example on the abundance of God:

“I pray that you may know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that you ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory throughout all ages. Amen.”
– Ephesians 2:19-21

Bottom line is that every day is an opportunity to renew our minds with God’s Word, act on it, and grow closer to Him. Are you ready for renewed thinking to live in the abundant provision of God?

May right thinking allow you to act on God’s Word and experience a life of growing prosperity!

Be blessed to be a blessing -

Brenda

The Law of Attraction – Living by Faith

Filed in: Law of Attraction by Admin on 03-11-10

The Law of Attraction – Living by Faith

Claiming Your Inheritance

The following is an excerpt from “How to Attract Prosperity” by Orison Swett Marden.

If you are a subscriber, you already received the complete chapter free.

I like to randomly read parts of this book…

and when I did today, the following stood out:

“Mental laws are clear and simple. We know that the fear thought attracts more fear, the worry thought more worry, the anxious thought more anxiety, the hatred thought more hatred, the jealous thought more jealousy, and the poverty thought more poverty. This is the law of attraction. Like every other law, it is unalterable.

The poverty disease can be cured only by its antidote——the prosperity thought. You carry within you this antidote to the poison of poverty, of lack, of pinching, dwarfing limitation. Use it, and cure yourself. The prosperity thought will kill the poverty germ.

Keep your supply pipes open between yourself and the infinite source of all supply. Don’t pinch them by doubt, don’t cut off the supply by limiting, pinching, poverty, lack thought.

Keep your supply pipes wide open by the consciousness of your oneness with God, your connection with the All Supply.

Abundance follows a law as exact as that of the law of mathematics. If we obey it we get the flow. If we pinch it, strangle it, we cut off the supply.

Suppose a youth who had decided to study medicine and become a doctor should say to himself: “I cannot picture myself as a success because I don’t know anything about what may come to me. Perhaps I haven’t the qualifications that make a successful physician. I may never become one. I may be a failure. I doubt if I am fitted for it, but I’ll try, anyway.”

Do you think such a timid, doubting, negative attitude would ever carry anyone to the success goal? Of course it wouldn’t.

The young medical student who is going to succeed is the one who pictures himself constantly as a successful physician, sees himself in a fine office, with a lucrative practice, climbing to the top of his profession. He is constantly visualizing himself as a successful physician.

Now, the same rule applies to the poor man who wants to become prosperous. He must picture himself as prosperous, he must obey the law of opulence by holding the ideal of opulence in his mind, and he must saturate himself with the prosperity thought, the thought of abundance.

If you wish to cure yourself of the poverty disease you should begin by giving yourself prosperity treatments something like this:

Say to yourself:

If I am God’s child I have inherited all the good things of the universe. I am heir to all supply, to the all-good. Poverty cannot touch the reality of me any more than disease can, for the reality of me is health. Health is the everlasting fact, and disease, sickness, is merely the absence of the reality. Poverty is not my normal condition. There can be no lack, no poverty for God’s image. ‘All that my Father hath is mine.’”

Repeat daily the twenty-third psalm:

“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside the still waters,” etc.

Follow this during the day with frequent assertions of your kinship with the Creator of all the universe.

Commit these lines by Ella Wheeler Wilcox to memory, and frequently say them to yourself, vigorously, and with the force of absolute conviction:

“I am success.
Though hungry, cold, ill-clad,
I wander for a while, I smile and say:
‘It is but for a time—I shall be glad
Tomorrow, for good fortune comes my way.
God is my Father, He has wealth untold;
His wealth is mine, health, happiness and gold.’”

All the good things you need are yours by inheritance. Claim them, expect them, work for them, believe they are already yours, and you will realize them in your life.

If you continually assert your kinship with God your Father, to whom all things belong, and send out the vigorous thought of abundance, a generous supply of all you need—which is your birthright—poverty cannot hold you its slave.”  — Orison Swett Marden

As Christian believers we are to live by faith, because God’s Word says so.

“The just shall live by faith.” — Romans 1:17

Living by faith means believing and obeying the Word of God. We have to think, speak, meditate, and act on God’s Word daily. There may be many books that inform, encourage, and inspire us, but there is only One Book that is full of Divine Living Power…

Have you opened your Bible yet today and let the Word of God speak to you?

May God’s Word come alive in your life this year like never before and leave a trail of growing prosperity everywhere you go!

Be blessed to be a blessing!

Cheers,
Brenda

P.S. Feel free to share experiences of your faith attracting your needed supply…

Spiritual Warfare – How Can the Belt of Truth Stop Fear from Opening the Door to Trouble?

Filed in: Spiritual Warfare by Admin on 03-01-10

Spiritual Warfare – How Can the Belt of Truth Stop Fear from Opening the Door to Trouble?

Let the Truth of God’s Goodness Put a Stop to Fear

Spiritual warfare requires understanding the truth that…

God is good.

There is no promise that once you become a Christian bad things won’t happen.

However, it is key to know that God is not the source of trouble;

He is our source of help.

“The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble.”
– Nahum 1:7

Where Does Trouble Come From?

Whether you acknowledge it or not, we have a spiritual enemy: the devil. The Bible tells us that anything that kills, steals, or destroys comes from the devil. Then it goes on to say that Jesus gives life and life more abundantly. (John 10:10)

We must not blame God for the attacks from satan. God is always good and never does anything bad. He is not even able to do anything bad and does not like to see people suffer. (James 1:16-17) He is a just God.

What Opens the Door to Trouble?

Fear opens the door to attacks.  First off, because putting on fear and worry is like putting on blinders to the goodness of God. Second, because those things we fear and fill our thoughts with will come to pass. (Job 3:25)

A great example of this is the account of Job in the Bible. God blessed him greatly and this made satan jealous. So the enemy began to attack Job with fearful thoughts. Job’s fear and worry of losing his family and possessions began to blind him of God’s goodness and opened the door to trouble. The enemy then attacked his children, his possessions, and his health. And to top it off, the enemy had him convinced the Lord was to blame.

How Do We Overcome Trouble When the Attacks Come?

When attacks of the enemy come we need to fight to overcome them. Begin speaking the Word of God and put on the belt of truth. Replace the destructive, fearful thoughts and words with truth and life giving words. Memorize and repeat Nahum 1:7 to start with.

The law of attraction goes to work bringing into your life the dominant thoughts of your heart, whether they are good or bad.

Have patience, like Job, and remember trials are only temporary. Even though Job, through his fear and ignorance thought God caused his trouble, he never turned from God. He cursed his situation, but NOT God.

Get a greater understanding of the goodness of God and cry out to Him in your time of trouble. What the enemy intends for bad, God can turn to good. Blessings never come from turning away from the Lord, but only as we move closer to Him and obey His Word.

We Must Not Blame God for Trouble!

It is vital to recognize that the source of evil is from satan and God is always good. We should never blame God for the things the enemy does to kill, steal, and destroy. In the midst of trials and the storms of life, keep trusting in God with patience. Be strong in the Lord, and the power of His might. (Ephesians 6:10)

Choose to open the door to let God work in your life. When trouble comes, choose to turn toward Him. Job’s faith and patience resulted in the Lord blessing him with twice what he had before.

Make no mistake about it; it is possible to remain standing when trouble comes. The Lord knows we have attacks from the evil one and battle spiritual warfare. That is why He provided us His Word and tells us to put on the whole armor of God. So put on the belt of truth today, stand strong, and allow the Good God to be your stronghold in the day of trouble.

May your understanding of God’s goodness strengthen your relationship with Him and increase your life with growing prosperity!

God bless you,
Brenda

Prosperous Living: Discover the Key to God’s Heart and Manifest Supernatural Abundance!

Filed in: Biblical Prosperity by Admin on 02-19-10

Prosperous Living: Discover the Key to God’s Heart and Manifest Supernatural Abundance!

Manifest Supernatural Abundance with the Key to God’s Heart

Prosperous living is the result of following natural and spiritual laws.

Everyone at some point begins to seek a better, more fulfilling and abundant life.

The desire to move from lack, worry, stress and the struggle of living in ‘not enough’ stirs us up to seek out a better life for ourselves and those around us.

With the search for a prosperous life also comes the realization that we are not able to make it happen on our own. We are simply limited in our human abilities. And because of our limitations we only get limited results.

There is, however, One who has unlimited abilities. Nothing is impossible with God. And when we seek to touch the heart of God, we soon find we also unlock the door to the abundance of God.

The Key to God’s Heart

Once you discover the key to God’s heart, you also discover how to manifest supernatural abundance in your life. Every believer can earn the key to God’s heart through demonstrating obedience to His Word.

“I was born to adore and obey.” — C.S. Lewis

Are you with me still? Just the mention of obedience tends to cause many to turn and settle back into their ‘land of not enough’ rather than make the necessary adjustments for positive change.

Glad to see you are not one of those, since you are still here!

When we have the key to someone’s heart we know how to reach what is inside. Some people think the key to God’s heart is love, faith, or service. But the real key is obedience.

Even Jesus said “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make our abode with him.” (John 14:23)

Jesus is speaking of the important principle in our relationship with God: obedience.

The Rewards of Obedience

God’s demand for obedience is based on His commitment to our well-being.

“Blessings shall come on you, and overtake you, if you shall hearken to the voice of the Lord your God.” – Deuteronomy 28:2

Nothing thrills a parent better than obedience from their children, and the same is especially true with our Father in Heaven. Every believer should make obedience a priority in their life.

The key to God’s heart is simply following His principles. As we submit to the Word of God it brings honor and glory to Him and proves our devotion and love for Him. This also opens the door to unlimited, abundant supply.

Our obedient actions speak louder than words; especially to God. I’m sure you can think of times that you have obeyed and disobeyed. One of the main reasons people choose not to obey is out of fear. Ask God to show you how to follow and obey Him without restraint.

Some Christians have a difficult time with the concept of being rewarded for Christ-like behavior. They either believe rewards only come in eternity or they feel they do not deserve anything. But God promised we will receive rewards in heaven and we can receive them on earth.

Of course, we should not obey solely for reward. Instead, we should please God and obey Him because of who He is as God the Father and Creator of all things.

The fact of the matter is: When we obey God we will prosper and tap into supernatural abundance. Blessings follow obedience. When we obey God, it allows Him the privilege of demonstrating His awesome power in our lives. Our obedience allows God to bless others through us. But that being said, the greatest reward we can attain is His love and favor.

May you live a life of obedience to God and experience abundant growing prosperity!

Be blessed to be a blessing -

Cheers,
Brenda
