Growing Prosperity – What Does the Attitude of Obedience Have to Do With Prospering?

Growing Prosperity – What Does the Attitude of Obedience Have to Do With Prospering?

The Heart of Obedience

Willing Obedient HeartGrowing prosperity is the result of obediently taking the right action steps that lead to abundance.

Manifestation also comes a whole lot quicker and easier when obedience is combined with the right attitude.

How about we take a look at the attitude of obedience?

We know the blessing of God follows obedience to His Word, but the attitude you have in your heart is important too.

The Attitude of Obedience

Many people obey God’s commands but they do it with a bad attitude. 🙁

“If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.”
— Isaiah 1:19

Notice this verse also includes our willingness be mixed with our obedience; in order to prosper and receive abundance. When we step out and act in obedience to the Word of God, regardless of what area, we should do so with a cheerful heart. 🙂

God loves a cheerful giver! (2 Corinthians 9:7)

If you are giving tithes and offerings, or honoring your father and mother, or worshipping God, or walking in love, or forgiving, or praying, it should be done with a positive and willing attitude. When we do what the Bible says we will eat the good of the land.

The opposite side of cheerful obedience is to be grudging or unwilling. The person who obeys, but has a wrong attitude receives a different reward. Keep in mind; we do not have an excuse to disobey. We simply need to adjust the attitude of our heart to line up with our obedience.

Here is some good news: The Lord searches the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is perfect toward Him. (2 Chronicles 16:9) Perfect here means to have a completely willing heart before God.

Now is the time to start putting this into action. Let’s choose today to not only obey God, but to keep a right attitude when we do. God can do something with us when we have a willing heart. At this very moment He is searching to show himself strong on our behalf and help us prosper and abound.

May your willingness and obedience fill your life with growing prosperity!

Be blessed to be a blessing –

What Is God’s Will? Skit Guys Video

What Is God’s Will? Skit Guys Video

A Look at Knowing God’s Will for Your Life

Enjoy some humor with this video by the Skit Guys. Be sure to hear what he says in the beginning of the video: God’s plan and will for our lives will NOT contradict God’s Word (which is His will).

So yes, there are lots of obvious things in God’s Word that are His will for everyone. God also gives us unique gifts, talents, and desires. We all have a purpose in His kingdom. When we put into motion, in life, those things we are passionate about and follow our heart – this helps move us into the center of God’s will.

For some Christians, God’s will for their life is very clear from an early age. For others, it is a constant step-by-step process that seems to be revealed with each step and act of obedience to God’s truths.

Again though, our heart and our passions will help guide us into the center of God’s will, but they need to be in line with God’s Word and not contradict it.

“I pray for you and desire that you might be filled with the
knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
That you might walk worthy of the Lord to all pleasing,
being fruitful in every good work,
and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power,
to all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
Giving thanks to the Father, which has made us
to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light;
Who has delivered us from the power of darkness,
and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son:
In whom we have redemption through His blood,
even the forgiveness of sins:
Who is the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn of every creature:
For by Him were all things created,
that are in heaven, and that are in earth,
visible and invisible, whether they be
thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:
all things were created by Him, and for Him:
and He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.”
— Colossians 1:9-17

Happiness – How to Use 3 Keys for a Thankful Heart to Unlock the Happy You?

Happiness – How to Use 3 Keys for a Thankful Heart to Unlock the Happy You?

Unlock the Door to a Happy You!

Key to Happy Thankful HeartHappiness is being satisfied and living in a state of well-being.

If you are currently an unhappy person, or a person that is unsatisfied and not in a state of well-being…

then you may just need to cultivate a thankful heart.

A key to being happy is learning to be a grateful, content, thankful person.

The good news is; happiness and thankfulness are both possible and they are both a choice. So regardless of previous negative life experiences you may have had, you can choose to change things moving forward.

These Keys for a Thankful Heart are Meant to Encourage and Get You Started:

1.) Choose to Be a Thankful Person.

If you want to be happy, then the first thing you need to do is choose to be. Once you make that choice, then comes the work. Yes, work. Like everything in life, there needs to be some action that follows our decisions.

Applying daily ‘thankfulness exercises’ to your routine, will soon make it a part of your lifestyle.

Tell yourself ‘I am a thankful person’. Start and end your day giving thanks. Always be mindful of the good in your life, including your relationships, and let that fill your thoughts.

Take inventory of all that you have to be thankful for and write it down. Writing it down will help impress it on your mind. You’ll also benefit by the law of attraction and start attracting to you what you are primarily thinking about.

2.) What is Your Perspective on Life?

You need to clearly define what happiness is to you. What makes one person happy isn’t necessarily the same for everyone. One person may be happy when they have clean water to drink and enough food to eat. Another person may be happy when they have three vehicles parked in the driveway.

Dealing with your perception will help you deal with your happiness. In order to gain a proper perspective, you need to change your thinking. As you become more grateful for all the blessings in your life, and obsess less over what you don’t have, you will begin to unlock the door to happiness.

3.) Giving Thanks is the Will of God.

A primary reason to be a thankful person is because God says so! We are told that it is the will of God that we give thanks in everything. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Note, we are NOT told to give thanks for everything, but in everything. Remain a thankful person in good times and bad times. Regardless of how trying life may be at times, you always have something to be thankful for.

I think you get the point. You can choose to be happy, and it is so much easier if you are a thankful person. Adjust your perspective. Learn to be content with where you are, and what you have now, as you move forward. God has given us so much to be thankful for. So let’s stay in His will and be a thankful people that cultivate true happiness.

May your life be full of true happiness and growing prosperity!

God bless you –

Cheers,
Brenda

P.S. So what are you happy & thankful for today?

Abundant Prosperity – If You Want True Riches Hear What God Has to Say About Your Money!

Abundant Prosperity – If You Want True Riches Hear What God Has to Say About Your Money!

Want to Manifest True Riches?

Hear What God Has To Say About Your Money!Abundant prosperity is available in all areas of your life.

It is important that you don’t limit prosperity only to finances.

True riches equals much more than money or things: it also includes spiritual blessings like wisdom and peace.

If you want true riches in your life, you need to listen to what God has to say about the matter.

God has plenty to say about your money. He actually talks more about money in the Bible than even prayer. Yet it is a subject that most believers don’t want to talk about. Or at least they don’t want to hear what the Lord has to say about money.

Let’s look at a couple key areas you should pay attention to.

YOUR HEART FOLLOWS YOUR TREASURE

If you want to know what someone loves, look at what they spend their money on. What you invest your finances on is a reflection of what you love.

“Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”
— Luke 12:34

Where and what you spend your money on does more than reflect the condition of your heart. Your spending also decides the direction that your heart will go. This is good news. You can choose where your heart will go, by choosing what you invest your finances on.

Where do you want your heart to be?

If you want it to be with your spouse, then spend money on your spouse. If you want it to be with your house, vehicles, toys, and possessions, then spend your money on those things. Do you want your heart to be with God? Then tithe and invest your finances in the things of God. Investing in Him brings great returns.

FAITHFULNESS WITH YOUR MONEY OPENS THE DOOR TO TRUE RICHES

Another key step you must learn is how to be faithful with your finances. If you are not dependable, reliable, generous, and faithful with your finances, God will not commit to you true riches.

“If you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?”
— Luke 16:11

Money is not really true riches. True riches are revelation, wisdom, favor, and other spiritual blessings of the Lord.

Are you getting this? God is saying if you are a faithful and generous giver, then you open the door for Him to do things in your life that money can’t do.

Unfortunately, Christians often don’t want to be talked to about how they handle their money; instead only about spiritual things. Yet, God is trying to tell you that He’s not going to entrust you with spiritual things if you’re not first faithful when it comes to your finances. They go hand-in-hand and you need to prove you are able to handle the money you now have in order to be entrusted with more and also the true riches of spiritual blessings.

Do yourself a favor and begin to listen to what God has to say about how you should handle your money. Then trust and follow His directions. Believe He will take care of you financially and know that following His plan will open the door to true riches and abundant prosperity in your life.

May your faithfulness result in spiritual blessings and continued growing prosperity!

Be blessed to be a blessing –

Growing Prosperity or Poverty? Thank Goodness You Can Choose the Abundance of God!

Growing Prosperity or Poverty? Thank Goodness You Can Choose the Abundance of God!

The Path of Growing Prosperity

path_to_growing_prosperityGrowing prosperity and living the abundant life is something most people desire.

Wouldn’t you agree?

Isn’t that why you are reading this right now?

But is it a bad desire?

Consider those who don’t seek a life of growing prosperity and the abundance of God. They often believe the desire to prosper is selfish. And yes, within the ranks of those that seem to be prospering will be a scattering of selfish and greedy people. We do not have to look far in this world to find a selfish person in any arena of life.

But get this: The same group of people that believe it is ungodly to prosper, also seem to think it is a spiritual quality to be poor.

Take note, you cannot be greedy and truly prosper. Part of the spiritual law of prosperity is giving to God and also being a generous giver with others. You simply have to give in order to receive.

Look at this Bible verse:

“There is that scatters, and yet increases; and there is that withholds more than is meet, but it tends to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat and he that waters shall be watered also himself.”
— Proverbs 11:24-25

What does this say? When you scatter and give, you’ll have increase. When you withhold and keep more for yourself than you should, it leads to poverty. When you are generous and bless others you will prosper.

Why do you want to have more money, a nicer house, closer relationships, more free time, a stronger faith? I think you would agree it is with the thought of others in mind more than yourself.

Growing prosperity provides the ability to give to others in a greater measure and in a greater quality. This in turn brings great satisfaction in life.

What a great feeling to be able to move your family into a nicer house in a safer neighborhood. There is nothing better in this world than a prosperous marriage. It is a great feeling to upgrade the car and know your family is driving a safe, dependable vehicle. And to have the free time to be spend with your family and serve in your community is so valuable. Having abundance financially to give generously to those in need is and wonderful position to be in.

The abundance of God is more than financial and material. It is God’s desire that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. (3 John 2) Prospering spiritually is the ultimate. There is nothing greater than strong faith and a close walk with God! And the closer you walk in obedience to God, the greater His involvement in your growing prosperity.

Thank goodness you can decide which path you’ll take in life. Even if you are currently in poverty, there is hope and expectations of better things to come. The abundance of God is waiting for you as you begin to honor the Lord and follow His principles and laws of prosperity.

May your life continue to abound with growing prosperity!

Be blessed to be a blessing –

Cheers,
Brenda

The Gift of Worship – Video

The Gift of Worship – Video

This video is a helpful self-examination of where our heart is at in worship. Do we lay our burdens down at the cross and fix our heart on Jesus and give Him praise?

(Or do we simply sing-a-long and rehearse all our problems in our head and keep the focus on ourselves the whole time we should be giving praise to God Almighty!)

“The hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship Him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”
— Jesus Christ (John 4:23-24)

God doesn’t just want you to show up and go through the motions of worship –

God wants your heart!

May we all worship God in Spirit and in truth!

God bless you,
Brenda

What Is Christian Meditation And Why Is It Vital For You To Know?

What Is Christian Meditation And Why Is It Vital For You To Know?

A Look Into Christian Meditation

Christian Mediation on God's WordChristian meditation is based on God’s Word: The Bible.

There are various techniques, methods, and ways to meditate.

The important thing, as a believer, is to understand what it is and how this powerful practice transforms lives.

The truth is: A key to a successful and prosperous life is discovering what Christian meditation is and making it a daily habit in life.

Christian Meditation Defined

To meditate is to ponder, think deeply, affirm, contemplate, think over, muse, reflect, speculate, memorize, confess, pray, recite, sing, speak, and practice focused study on the Word of God.

The Bible says that those who delight in the law of the Lord, and in His law meditate day and night, they are blessed. (Psalm 1:1-2).

Meditation is sometimes referred to as our spiritual digestive system; which breaks down the Word of God and digests it in our spirit.

“Your words were found, and I did eat them; and your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart: for I am called by your name, O LORD God of hosts.”
— Jeremiah 15:16

Meditate on the Word of God by taking it in and chewing on it over and over. Consider it part of your daily nutrition, just as you do your regular meals. You might know that a meal is full of vital nutrients. You might be able to see and smell that it is good. However, it is quite obvious that the food will not nourish and benefit your life until you consume it and eat it.

Christian Meditation in Action

Christian meditation involves the process of actively thinking on scriptures. We give ourselves to the study of the Word by immersing ourselves in it in various ways. It also involves praying over it and asking God to give us understanding by His Spirit; who promised to lead us in all truth.

“The Spirit of truth will guide you in all truth.”
— John 16:13

Following the discovery and understanding of these truths, we are to put them into action in our lives. A commitment is made to make the things of God our standard for daily living.

Meditate on the Word of God until it becomes more real to you than anything else. Begin to make the power of meditation a daily habit. Then act on the truths revealed by the Holy Spirit. This will cause spiritual growth in your life and bring success.

Real knowledge, revelation, and success in life come from the habit of meditating on God’s Word.

No doubt about it: God places a great emphasis on His Word. Scripture tells us that He sustains everything by His Word. So as Christian believers, we should also place a great emphasis on it and daily meditate on the life transforming power of God’s Word

Are you ready to make Christian meditation a priority in your life?

God bless you,
Brenda
