About

I want to personally thank you for stopping by GrowingProsperity.com!

Our goal on this site is to provide Christian and self-improvement resources and materials that will help you live a prosperous life.

Brenda MarsolekMy name is Brenda Marsolek (changed from Smith on June 1, 2011 when I married Dan, my God-given gift of a husband), and I am the founder of Growing Prosperity Productions.  We are a promoter of the Word of God.  Our mission is to help grow prosperity in the body of Christ as they reap a great soul harvest for the Kingdom of Heaven.

I have been a Christian most of my life and was water baptized at age 9.  Unfortunately, I spent many of my adult years not living for the Lord.  In 2002 I recommitted my life to Christ while watching a Billy Graham program.  Soon after that, my two daughters and I got plugged into a non-denominational local church with an awesome pastor.

I began to grow and thrive with the teachings of the Word of God.  Life took on a whole new meaning and excitement with the discovery of all the power in God’s Word.  I learned many things in the church I was raised in, but it lacked the life changing power I was experiencing and continue to experience.

In my journey I quickly realized how important it is to get the Word of God in daily, so that it can change our lives for the better and encourage those around us.

I felt led to implement some ideas I had in this area of being an encouragement to others.  Yet I was resistant and put them off for a number of years.  I let some negative beliefs get in my way.  Such as the fact that I was divorced, only had a high school education, was just getting by financially, and really was only a baby Christian in regards to knowledge of the Word.  I thought who was I to think about sharing resources to help people prosper in life when my own life was still in need of much improvement.

Recently I was greatly impacted by teachings from my pastor on ‘Obeying God Completely’.  I have decided it is now my time to step up to the plate and start obeying God completely to the best of my ability.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'”

I pray that you may discover God’s plan for your life and that you may prosper, have great hope and a great future!

I’m glad our paths have crossed – God bless you on your journey!

To your growing prosperity,

Brenda

P.S. Have you claimed your Free Ticket?

This lifetime of ours will come and go quickly.  However, eternity is forever.  It is a good thing to live at peace in this lifetime knowing where your eternity will be spent.

No matter what negative religious experiences you may have had in the past, today can be your day, your time, your year to come out of the darkness and into His marvelous light!

John 3:16-17 says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.”

Romans 10:9-10 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

God wants to give you new life in Jesus Christ.

To receive God’s precious gift, just say this prayer and believe in your heart:

God in Heaven, I know I’m a sinner and I need Your help. I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died on the cross for my sins, and that You raised Him from the dead.

Jesus, I invite you to come into my life. I confess with my mouth that You, Jesus, are my Lord. Forgive my sins and keep me from evil. Make Yourself real to me and bring me into Your good plan for my life. Thank you, Jesus! You are now my Lord and Saviour!

If you just prayed this prayer for the first time, and claimed your free gift from God…congrats! The bible says the Angels in Heaven are rejoicing. I look forward to seeing you in Heaven. :0)

Thanks for your questions Shuo. My viewpoint and thoughts are below…

Well the Bible says Christians will have persecution. “In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” (2 Timothy 3:12) But it will not separate us from the love of Christ. (Romans 8:35) “Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed.” (2 Cor 4:9)

Persecution is not a “feel good” Christian topic to talk about, but it is real and should not come as a surprise to us. I think we should be strong and courageous and know God is with us. I believe persecution only strengthens our relationship with the Lord, because it causes us to lean on Him and trust Him more.

“Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:10)

As far as applying the principles of growing prosperity in countries that have no wealth… well I would suggest that we all apply God’s principles, to the best of our ability, regardless where we live. We may live some where or be in a situation that seems impossible to us, but with God – Nothing is Impossible. The abundance of God is limitless. We should obey the Word, be good stewards, pray and cry out to the Lord, live by faith, etc. We do our part and God does His part, and ultimately God is in control and we need to be at peace with that.

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27)

As Christians, one of the greatest things we have been given is peace. Peace is something no one can take away and to me that is one of the greatest gifts God has prospered us with. We have peace knowing we have eternal salvation, Jesus Christ is our advocate, we are children of God, we have a Heavenly Father, we have the power of the Holy Spirit living within us, and more. In light of this, and eternal salvation, it make the cares of this world and our short time on it grow dim.

I read that the Greek and Hebrew definition of peace is prosperity. So what a great thing! As Christian believers and children of the Most High God, Jesus has given us His peace and we are already prospering in a way that no one can take away! Praise God! May we seek first the Kingdom of God and always be about our Father’s business. “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him.” (2 Chron 16:9)

    God bless you,
    Brenda

I just have a question. What is your viewpoint on the persecution of Christianity? And how can you apply the principle of “Growing Prosperity” to those in countries that are suffering and have no wealth?

    Thank you Myisha –

I love that the Word of God is so exciting, and packed full of powerful principles & truths. It’s sad that so few Believers actually dig in and learn them and apply them to their lives.

What God has provided us has the ability to prosper us far above our greatest imaginations! No doubt about it, living the Word, changes lives!

    Cheers & God Bless,
    Brenda

I appreciate what you have to offer here. I was especially glad to see posts on the Law of Attraction. I wonder how many Believers understand how biblical it is. SMILE. Keep up the good work. Are you on Twitter/FB?

    Thanks for your encouraging comments!

It seems that the inspiration from God to do the podcast, and the what to record is the easy part…
it is the “how to” actually create the recording that is the challenging part and growing process.
Hope to have the volume levels better balanced on future episodes. 🙂

Thanks for listening – God bless you – Cheers, Brenda

    Hi,

I love your podcast! What a wonderful gift, the God has chosen to use you. Thank you and to God be the glory. I don’t know if it is my computer??? But sometimes you background music drowns out your message. Your voice is so calming, it would be nice to hear less music and more you. Thank you again, Sienna

You’re welcome Bao – thank you for taking the time to write… I appreciate it!

I’m glad you are enjoying the podcast and thanks for the 5 star rating on iTunes. My hope is to shine at least a little light in this online web that seems to be filled with so much darkness…

I would have never guessed even a year and a half ago that I would be doing this, but God gave me the inspiration, and then showed me the how, and continues to show me the what to record. I truly believe we not only need to reach out to the lost in a big way in these days, but that believers need to encourage each other in a big way, so that not one would fall out of the race…

Thanks again for taking the time to comment!

    Cheers & God bless,
    Brenda
