Biblical Meditation AffirmationChristian Meditation and

Biblical Affirmations

allow the Spirit of God to stir us up

and make us happy.

There is power in God’s Word to

renew our mind and replace negative

thoughts with positive life filled thoughts.

If we find ourselves dwelling on the same discouraging,

depressing, stressful, worrisome thoughts, then we need to put a stop to it.

How? By replacing negative thoughts with truths from the Word of God.

Replace Negative Thoughts with Positive Truths

You see, meditation on scripture gives us understanding of how God sees us and our future. In His scriptures we find words of hope, joy, peace, and encouragement.

“My meditation of Him shall be sweet and I will be glad in the Lord.”
— Psalm 104:34

We can help make the truths of God’s Word become a part of our mental dialogue by listening to Christian Meditation CDs or Biblical Affirmation CDs during our morning routine, at the office, in the car, while doing chores, and when falling asleep. Then when negative thoughts try to surface, our mind will be prepared and ready to affirm God’s Word instead.

The great thing about affirmations is that it is like planting positive seeds of change. Our minds are able to focus on the new positive thoughts, which will eventually grow to replace the old negative ones.

Biblical affirmations are scriptures that are stated in a positive, first person, present tense form. It is important to make them positive, because the things we hear repeatedly get deposited into our subconscious. And our subconscious takes in everything as if it is real.

Biblical Affirmation Example

Let’s look at an example of a positive biblical affirmation…

Have you ever had a time of struggling with fear? Well, we know that God says, He has not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, love and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7) The truth of God’s Word is that fear is not of Him. What is of God is power, love and a sound mind.

In this example we would not want to affirm ‘I am not afraid’, or ‘I do not fear’. Why? Because our subconscious is going to hear us confessing fear.

So what should the affirmation be? Make the affirmation: ‘God has given me a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.’

Begin now to fill your mind with this affirmation and your fears will begin to fade. The instant you become fearful, start confessing this affirmation and put a stop to the fearful thoughts instantly.

The success in using affirmations is repetition and speaking them out loud. You must listen to or read affirmations over and over until they begin to take root and grow.

So there you have it: Make Christian meditation and biblical affirmations a daily habit. Maintain a positive attitude and a bright outlook on life with the life transforming power of God’s Word. It is His desire that all believers tap into it as they grow nearer to Him.

Why not begin meditating and affirming the powerful Word of God in your life today?

God bless you always,
Brenda

Powerful Meditation – Can Christian Meditation Bring Revelation of Eternal Mysteries?

Powerful Meditation – Can Christian Meditation Bring Revelation of Eternal Mysteries?

Biblical Meditation for Revelation of Eternal Mysteries

Biblical Meditation for Revelation of Eternal MysteriesChristian meditation is the process

of discovering truths

found in God’s Word.

Every believer should have a

heart to want to meditate the

Word of God daily;

since this is how

biblical truths are revealed.

God’s Word is packed full of eternal mysteries just waiting for the diligent, faithful believer to discover. And just as discoveries in the natural world, benefit society, so do spiritual discoveries found in the living Word of God.

Consider the natural law of electricity, which has always been. Once discovered, the world was forever changed. Now consider God’s spiritual laws revealed in His Word. They have the greatest power for transformation in all areas of our lives.

An Invisible Reservoir of Abundance

“It’s almost as if there is an invisible reservoir of abundance in the universe that can be tapped if you will just obey certain spiritual laws.”
— Norman Vincent Peale

Believers who meditate the spiritual truths of God’s Word are sometimes compared to scientists in the natural realm. Why? Because in a very real sense, it involves the study and experimentation of God’s laws; which then result in discovery. And this discovery is God’s revelation to us. What people tend to call discovery is really the revelation of God.

Spiritual wonders and revelation await us when we begin to meditate on the laws of God. If we will meditate day and night on the Lord and on His Word, we will be the ones bringing the latest revelations to the world.

Revelation Knowledge

It first takes meditation on the information acquired from the Word of God, in order to receive revelation. Information alone will not bring revelation. Revelation knowledge comes from meditation in the Word of God and is revealed by the Holy Spirit.

God is a spirit and His truths are revealed through our spirit.

Ephesians 1:17 shows Paul praying to God, and asking that He would give unto us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. This is not just information, but revelation knowledge revealed by the Holy Spirit.

Christian meditation, on biblical truths, opens the door to life transforming power; by allowing the Holy Spirit to reveal revelation knowledge.

It gets even better. When believers mix their faith with the revelation knowledge of God’s Word, they soon manifest the blessings and promises of God in their life.

Are you ready to do what it takes to allow life transforming revelation knowledge to come into your life?

Why not get started today making Christian meditation on the Word of God a daily habit?

God bless you always,

How Can Christian Meditation Renew My Mind and Renew My Life?

How Can Christian Meditation Renew My Mind and Renew My Life?

Does Biblical Meditation Really Have the Power to Renew You?

Christian Meditation to Renew Your Mind and LifeChristian meditation is based on the divine,

living, and powerful Word of God.

Does it have the ability to renew

our minds and lives?

Absolutely!

How do we know? God says so.

“Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.”
— Romans 12:2

Renew Your Mind With Biblical Meditation

When we meditate on the Word of God we release the thoughts of our mind and put on the mind of Christ. There is an exchange for the world’s way of thinking with a renewing of our mind with God’s way of thinking.

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.”
— Philippians 2:5

More good news: As believers we have the Holy Spirit living within us as a powerful aid to meditation. Jesus told us that the Father will send the Holy Spirit in His name to teach us all things and bring to remembrance all things Jesus said. (John 14:26)

There is great power in affirming the revealed truths of God’s Word!

“An affirmation is a statement of Truth consciously used so as to become the directing power of Life’s expression.”
Orison Swett Marden

Renew Your Life With Biblical Meditation

The answer to renewing our life is found in the Word of God; in which we meditate and renew our mind with day and night.

Through the power of the Word of God and by meditation on it, we align ourselves with God’s thoughts, God’s provision, and God’s ways. God’s will is found in His Word. There is no greater and exciting place to be than in the center of God’s will.

Matthew 12:34 declares, “Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.”

With meditation we can challenge every thought that resists the knowledge of God by speaking the Word of God. Meditating, confessing, and acting on His ways holds life transforming power.

In Joshua 1:8 he advises: “Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

I could go on and on…

The point is: As we renew our mind through meditation on the Word of God, we’ll soon find that the life transforming power of His Word renews our life!

Are you ready to let the divine, living, and powerful Word of God renew your mind and life through Christian meditation?

God bless you always,
Brenda

Christian Meditation For Mind Control – Who Is In Charge Of Your Thoughts Anyway?

Christian Meditation For Mind Control – Who Is In Charge Of Your Thoughts Anyway?

Why Not Take Control of Your Thought Life?

Christian Meditation For Mind ControlMeditation for mind control is

about taking charge of our thought life.

Think about it?

Thousands of thoughts pop into

our minds daily.

Many of these thoughts are NOT our own and

come from the constant bombardment of

media ads, newspapers, the internet, other people, etcetera.

I’m sure you would agree that most of these thoughts are not healthy and desperately need managed.

The fact that our minds are constantly bombarded with unwanted garbage should be a major concern for us. Why? Because our thoughts direct our lives.

Christian Meditation for Mind Control

The Bible has much to say about the impact our minds and thoughts have on our lives. The importance of meditating on what is true, pure, and right is encouraged over and over. This is to help us stay empowered with proper mind control and right thinking. Thinking right leads to right acting.

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
— Proverbs 4:23

“Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.”
— Matthew 12:34

“For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”
— Proverbs 23:7

If our thoughts determine our lives, then we can change our circumstances by first changing our thoughts. How do we go about doing that? Well it does take work, but the good news is that it is quite simple.

Thought Life Check-up

The first step is to give our thought life a check-up. We need to take time to actually focus on what we are thinking.

Take note and evaluate the thoughts you have over the next few days.
Consider:

  • Thoughts about yourself (abilities, appearance, health, etc.)
  • Thoughts about others (God, relationships, etc.)
  • Thoughts about work
  • Thoughts about any and all other areas of your life

As you do this check-up and evaluate your thoughts, consider which ones are healthy, positive, productive, and beneficial to your life. Ask yourself if they are going to help you move forward in a positive direction? Then decide if you will allow them to stay or give them the boot.

For example: You may have thoughts of being a financial failure and constantly failing at everything you do. Your mind may replay past events of failure and come up with many reasons why you are sure to fail in the future and always live in poverty.

What does this type of negative thinking do? It takes away all hope of being financially successful and pursuing prosperity, and on top of that it lets you think you should settle for poverty.

By acknowledging that that kind of negative thinking is only destructive, you can then choose to put a stop to it by replacing it with thoughts that will be profitable and beneficial to your life.

Mind Control for Right Thinking and Right Living

The next step, after you’ve given your thought life a check-up and determined which thoughts no longer have permission to reside in your mind, is to take charge and do some mind control clean-up.

In order to remove negative, damaging, unwanted thoughts, they need to be replaced with positive, encouraging, or productive thoughts. We can’t just tell an unwanted thought to stop and go away. We have to also replace it with a favorable thought.

For example: You tell those thoughts of financial failure to stop and you take control of your mind by replacing those destructive thoughts with prosperous thoughts. This might be something such as: My God desires above all things that I prosper and be in health, even as my soul prospers. (3 John 2)

God’s Word is full of promises of success. He wants us to be blessed to be a blessing to others. We are encouraged to meditate on thoughts that will lead us into right living and success. However, God won’t just step in our minds and clean up our thinking for us. It is something we must do; with His help.

Take Charge of Your Thoughts

Keep in mind: Your thoughts are just that, they are your thoughts and they belong to you. So why not be in charge and take control of them?

Refuse to allow your mind to focus on thoughts of negative past experiences, or current difficult challenges, or any other discouraging thoughts that fill your mind with failure. Refuse to keep your life directed toward continual disappointment.

Bottom line: As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Decide which thoughts you want to keep, and then replace the destructive thoughts with positive ones that will lead you to success. Meditate on success scriptures from the Word of God and take charge of your thought life with Christian meditation for the ultimate mind control.

May you change your life one thought at a time and enjoy a life of growing prosperity!

God bless you –

Cheers,
Brenda

Is Christian Meditation a Biblical Practice – Does God Want You to Meditate?

Is Christian Meditation a Biblical Practice – Does God Want You to Meditate?

Proof Biblical Meditation Empowers Christians!

Biblical Meditation Empowers ChristiansChristian meditation seems to be a lost art

for many believers these days.

Christians are often misled into thinking

meditation is unbiblical and that

they shouldn’t meditate.

However, this cannot be further from the truth!

Christian meditation is rooted in the Bible. God commands us in the Bible to meditate on His Word day and night so we will obey it.

“You shall meditate day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written.”
— Joshua 1:8

Biblical Meditation References

Take a look at Psalm chapter 119. In this chapter alone, we see that meditation on the Word of God is talked about over and over:

  • I will meditate in thy precepts and have respect unto thy ways. (Psalm 119:15)
  • Your servant did meditate in your statutes and didn’t bother what others said. (Psalm 119:23)
  • I will delight myself in your commandments and meditate in your statutes. (Psalm 119:47-48)
  • I will meditate in thy precepts. (Psalm 119:78)
  • Oh how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day. (Psalm 119:97)
  • I have more understanding than all my teachers: for your testimonies are my meditation. (Psalm 119:99)

We don’t count on man’s knowledge. Instead we count on the Word of God and our God given ability to have the eyes of our understanding enlightened when we meditate on the biblical truths of His Word.

Biblical Examples of Meditation

The Bible gives us examples of great men of God that meditated:

  • Isaac went out to meditate in the field. (Genesis 24:63)
  • Paul instructs Timothy to meditate on these things so his profiting may appear to all. (1 Timothy 4:15)
  • The psalmist prayed that the meditation of his heart be sweet and acceptable to God (Psalm 104:34, 19:14)
  • Joshua encourages meditation day and night in order to do it and become prosperous and successful. (Joshua 1:8)

These references and examples are only just a sampling; to prove that yes, Christian mediation is biblical.

Do not be fooled: A reason so many Christians live empty, unsatisfying lives is due to the lack of obeying God’s command to meditate on His Word. Their deep spiritual need to be filled with the life transforming power of God is not being met.

Now that you are armed with this information, why not let God’s divine light shine in your life through meditation? There are many rewards of meditating on the Word of God and it is a major key to living a life of victory as a Christian.

Why not purpose to make Christian meditation a daily habit and get started today?

God bless you always,

Higher Level Meditation – How Will Christian Meditation Change the Way I Think and Feel?

Higher Level Meditation – How Will Christian Meditation Change the Way I Think and Feel?

Discover How Christian Meditation Can Help You Achieve a Higher Level of Thinking and Living!

Higher Level MeditationChristian meditation is something

every believer can choose to practice.

Those who do choose to meditate

soon find out it changes the way

they think and feel.

Let me ask you this…

How Does the World Make You Think and Feel?

Think for a moment about the daily choices we make and how they change our thoughts and feelings. Do you watch the news? Do you watch movies? Do you listen to music? Do you read the paper? Do you browse online social media sites and forums? Do you have conversations with co-workers, family, and friends?

Of course you do, and it is no secret that what we see and hear changes the way we think and feel!

The trouble with regular interactions, in our everyday routine, is that it tends to be overwhelming, stressful and discouraging. Most of the news, shows, music, movies, websites, and people we talk to bombard us with tragedies, loss, hardships, etcetera. This in turn leaves us in fear mode.

For this reason, many people find themselves searching for something to bring peace in the midst of chaos.

Christian Meditation to Change the Way You Think and Feel

God commands us to meditate day and night, because it will draw us closer to Him and benefit our lives. Just as with His other laws, He does not force us to obey. Instead we get to choose.

So, will meditation on God’s Word change the way we think and feel?

Absolutely, YES! Those who choose to meditate soon find out it changes the way they think and feel for the better!

“Blessed, happy is the person who delights in the
law of the Lord and meditates on it day and night.”

— Psalm 1:1-2

The ways of the world come to no surprise to God. And Proverbs 23:7 tells us, “Whatever a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”

God instructs us to meditate on His Word so that our heart will be filled with His power. If a person, with purpose and intent, will meditate on God and His ways, they will achieve a higher level of thinking and living, including joy and peace.

“You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You,
because he trusts in You.”

— Isaiah 26:3

No matter what happens around us we can meditate on God’s Word to draw strength, life and victory.

Believe me: Once you start to practice Christian meditation daily, the way you think and feel about yourself, and your life will take on a brighter outlook. The life transforming power of God’s Word changes lives!

Do you, as a Christian believer, purpose to achieve a higher level of thinking and living by meditating on the Word of God daily?

God bless you always,

Christian Meditation – Meditate to Release Bad Habits and Face a Bright Hopeful Future Fully Alive!

Discover Christian Meditation to Help You…
Put Your Dependency on God and Live Fully Alive

Christian Meditation for a Hopeful Future Living Fully AliveChristian meditation can help replace those

negative memories and heavy weights of our past by

turning our faces toward a bright and hopeful future.

No matter how our wrong choices, bad habits,

or the storms of life blowing through have negatively

affected our health, employment, relationships, finances, etc.,

we can face a hopeful future and begin to build up what has been torn down.

Replace a Negative Dependence with a Higher Power

Negative, unhealthy thinking leads to a dependency on negative habits. Soon the bad effects of those negative habits weigh a person down more and more. Whether the dependency is on overeating, smoking, drinking, gambling, lying, gossiping, stealing, hating, or any other unhealthy addiction, it is time to find a new outlook on life.

Do not allow yourself to harbor disturbing thoughts that cause you to depend on bad habits. It is time to learn how to change from a low level of negative thinking to a higher level of positive thinking. It is time to break the dependency on bad habits that tear down.

Now is the time to depend on GOD instead!

Get Honest, Release the Weights, and Live Fully Alive

What an awful load people carry around with them when they live dependant on negative habits. It causes them to live only half alive due to the constant negative effects and fear of being found out.

Get honest with yourself and with other people. Release those heavy weights you have been carrying around on your shoulders and leave them in the past. Allow yourself the right to break the dependency on any bad habits.

Commit to Depend on the Almighty Power of GOD and Live Fully Alive!

“They should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after Him, and find Him, though He be not far from every one of us: For in Him we live, and move, and have our being.”
— Acts 17:28

A Daily Christian Meditation to be a Channel for God’s Spirit:

I keep my life calm and composed. My task today is to find peace and acquire serenity. I think of constructive things until calmness comes. I seek the Lord and in Him I live, and move, and have my being. When I am calm I act as a channel for God’s Spirit. The things of the Spirit come in to take their place. God’s love and peace and calm come in and fill me up and I live fully alive.

Closing thoughts: In the spiritual world, just as in the material world, there is no empty space. No matter what fears, worries, and resentments you may have, replace them with thoughts of constructive things. Sweep your life clean, allow good to come in, build yourself up, and be constructive by practicing Christian Meditation daily.

May God’s love and peace make you fully alive and fill your life with growing prosperity!

Will Christian Meditation Benefit My Life Long-term or Short-term Only?

Will Christian Meditation Benefit My Life Long-term or Short-term Only?

Know What to Expect from Christian Meditation

Christian Meditation Benefits Long TermChristian meditation is meant to be…

a daily habit in every believer’s life.

Through meditating on God’s Word

we gain understanding, knowledge, and wisdom to live a successful and prosperous life.

Christian Meditation Short-term Benefits

The Word of God provides nourishment to our spirit, soul, and body. Just as one meal of food will not nourish and sustain us long-term, neither will one session of meditation on biblical truths.

Give us this day our daily bread. Why? Because God wants us to seek Him and walk with Him daily. If He gave us our monthly bread, think how many of us might wait until the next month to seek Him!

Meditation on God’s Word is a way to draw us closer to the Lord and strengthen our relationship with Him. We would not expect to continually know a person better after spending time with them only once.

Faith also comes from hearing the Word of God. But faith does not continue to grow from hearing only once.  Take a look at the following verse and you will notice it says “hearing and hearing.” This is an ongoing process.

“Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God.”
— Romans 10:17

The world we live in is busy and chaotic and constantly bombarding us with negative thoughts and images everywhere we go. Do you think this is a surprise to God? Of course not; He warns us not to be conformed to this world. This requires renewing our mind daily with God’s Word. (Romans 12:2)

Christian Meditation Long-term Benefits

Now that you understand the importance and need for daily meditation, and that the benefits are primarily short-term; let’s take a look at long-term results.

The Bible is the divine Word of God. It is living and powerful. (Hebrews 4:12)  The scriptures are also full of “suddenly” verses. Meditating daily on His source of divine, living, power, sets us up for a suddenly.

Your life can change in a flash when the “suddenly” hits and the eyes of your understanding are opened. A transformation can take place in an instant that lasts a lifetime.

God also rewards obedience. And meditation on His Word is a commandment for all believers. Obedience to the things of God should be at the heart of every believer. The result is the manifestation of many blessings in our life on earth.

The ultimate long-term benefit, of obedience to God, is eternal rewards in heaven. (2 Corinthians 5:10)

Whichever way you want it: Christian meditation practiced out of a love and obedience for God has the power to benefit your life short-term and long-term; even eternally.

Why not commit to making meditation on God’s Word a priority in your life?

God bless you,
Brenda
