Jason Gray sings “Remind Me Who I Am” from the album A Way To See In The Dark in this music video.

“Remind Me Who I Am” Song Lyrics:

When I lose my way,
And I forget my name
Remind me who I am
In the mirror all I see
Is who I don’t wanna be
Remind me who I am

In the loneliest places
When I can’t remember what grace is

(Chorus)
Tell me, once again who I am to You, who I am to You
Tell me, lest I forget Who I am to You, that I belong to You, to You

When my heart is like a stone,
And I’m running far from home
Remind me who I am
When I can’t receive Your love
Afraid I’ll never be enough
Remind me who I am

If I’m Your beloved
Can You help me believe it

Chorus

I’m the one You love
I’m the one You love
That will be enough
I’m the one You love

Chorus (times 2)

“I have loved thee with an everlasting love.”
— Jeremiah 31:3

“In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.”
— 1 John 4:9

“We love Him, because He first loved us.”
— 1 John 4:19

Remember: As a Christian Believer, is it NOT about how you feel, how you see yourself, or what you’ve done – It is about Who You Are IN CHRIST!

Enjoy this song and music video and have a blessed day!

Cheers & God bless you,

Affirmation Power – How to Overcome Fear and Strengthen Your Courage with Affirmations

Affirmation Power – How to Overcome Fear and Strengthen Your Courage with Affirmations

Why Not Put the Power of Affirmations to Work for Your Benefit?

Affirmations are a powerful force in helping direct our lives.

If you are lacking in any quality…

you can strengthen it with regular affirmations.

They will make your brain clearer…

and your thoughts more effective.

“An affirmation is a statement of Truth consciously used so as to become the directing power of Life’s expression.”
— Orison Swett Marden

Fearful Thoughts Versus Courageous Thinking

Would you like to overcome fear in your life? If you are a coward anywhere in your nature, which most people are, you can put the power of affirmations to work for your benefit.

Strengthen your courage by regularly affirming that you are absolutely fearless, that you are courageous, and that nothing can harm you. Consider that fear is simply the sense of danger. But when you have perfect confidence in the great Creator and His purpose for your life, when you trust in Him completely, there will be no cause for fear.

God has a plan for your life and He says it is not to harm you, but to prosper you and give you a hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11) Once you convince yourself that there is a good plan for your life, and that the opposing thoughts must be a delusion, you will gradually lose the sense of fear and gain the courage you desire.

“Nerve us with incessant affirmation. Don’t bark against the bad, but chant the beauties of the good.”
— Ralph Waldo Emerson

Affirmations Create Power

Determine today not to harbor anything in your mind which you do not wish to become real in your life. Every time you feel a sense of fear coming over you, replace it by saying something such as the following affirmation:

‘I am absolutely fearless; I am strong and courageous because the Lord is my God and my helper; I am more than a conqueror and always triumph in Christ.’

Do not entertain a weak or fearful thought. Instead replace them with confident, hopeful, optimistic thoughts. If you form the habit of affirming to yourself bold and courageous thoughts, as soon as a sense of fear arises, you will be surprised to see how quickly you can change the whole course of your thoughts. And when this is changed, the feeling will change also.

You will begin to increase your courage and confidence, and this is half the battle. You will soon find that your environment will begin to change. Hope will increase and you will have a healthier outlook on life. Your thoughts, instead of depressing your mind, will be a perpetual encouragement of courage and confidence that drives out fear.

Now what? Discover the wonderful advantage available to you by starting out every morning with the mindset of affirming the confident and courageous person God created you to be. Let affirmations create a powerful force that make it difficult for any discouraging and fearful thoughts to take over. Overcome fear and strengthen your courage with powerful affirmations.

May your mind be filled with courageous, confident affirmations and your life full of growing prosperity!

God bless you –

Cheers,

Help Me! How on Earth Do I Know What God’s Purpose and Will is for My Life?

Help Me! How on Earth Do I Know What God’s Purpose and Will is for My Life?

Knowing God’s Will and God’s Purpose for Your Life

Who, at some point, hasn’t asked:

“What is God’s plan and purpose for my life?”

We sooner or later reach a time in life when we find our self questioning why we are here. We come to a point of knowing, deep inside, that there must be something more God would have for us to do with our lives.

Well, how can you know the will of God and what you should do with your life? Good question. And it all starts with the Word of God, since God’s Word is God’s will.

Knowing God’s General Will

The Bible teaches us how to live our lives. It is filled with instructions and directions and it reveals God’s general will for all of us. So, first and foremost, we need to get into God’s Word so that we can know what He wants from us. His Word is very powerful and will guide us.

Here are just a couple examples:

“Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” — Romans 12:1-2

“Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

God’s will for man is not a hidden mystery. Anyone can open the Book and quickly see many things that God wants them to do (and not do). The chief aim and purpose of our lives should be to live according to His revealed will.

Knowing God’s Specific Will

Now you might be asking, “How do I know God’s specific plan for my life?” People often want God to tell them specifically what to do; like where to live, where to work, where to go to school, who to marry, etcetera.

Well, God can show us in many different ways. A loud, audible voice from heaven is not required, but listening to that still, small voice is. God has given us the Holy Spirit for guidance. The Spirit of truth is here to guide us into all truth. (John 16:13)

God can also direct us, through the events happening around us.  And if we are already living daily according to God’s revealed will, decisions will be much clearer and easier to make. There is a peace that comes when we are pleasing God with our lives.

To get answers, we also need to pray and ask for God’s help and direction. When deciding between two options, the one that brings a greater peace is usually God’s will. Emotions sometimes create a false peace, but true peace will remain even after emotions fall.

Keep in mind: God allows us to make choices, but He is ultimately in control. We should trust Him always in faith that He will accomplish His will in our lives.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” — Proverbs 3:5-6

Plus, questions we should be asking are, “Am I doing this for me or for God?  Is this what I want or what God wants?”  The key is to desire to make choices that agree with God’s will. If a decision does not go against the Word of God, then we can follow our heart.

“It was the Lord who put it into my mind… I could feel His hand upon me… There is no question the inspiration was from the Holy Spirit because He comforted me with rays of marvelous illumination from the Holy Scriptures… No one should fear to undertake any task in the name of our Savior if it is just and if the intention is purely for His holy service.”
— Christopher Columbus (from his diary, in reference to his discovery of ‘the New World’)

Created with a Purpose

God does have great plans for your life! You were created by God, in His image, for a purpose. (Jeremiah 29:11) We have all been given unique gifts and talents. And just like our physical body is made up of many different parts, all unique, and all important to having a fully functioning body; so it is with the body of Christ.

Your gifts and talents have been given to you so you can be a blessing to the kingdom of God and make a positive contribution in life. So step out and act on the revealed knowledge you have already been given and use the talents you already have.

Then trust God to reveal more to you after you are faithful first in the little. Be confident that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. (Philippians 1:6) God’s purpose for all is that He is glorified and the gospel and kingdom of God be advanced.

In Conclusion: The wise king Solomon tells us the conclusion of the whole matter and duty of man is to fear God and keep His commandments. (Ecclesiastes 12:13) He also encourages us to enjoy life and be happy with our work. Keep the Word of God your foundation and watch His great plan revealed before your very eyes. God is for you and He will help you.

May you seek first the kingdom of God and live a life full of growing prosperity!

God bless you,

Inspiration – Words of Hope and Encouragement in Times of Trouble!

Inspiration – Words of Hope and Encouragement in Times of Trouble!

Hope and Encouragement is on the Way

Inspirational Hope in Times of TroubleHope and encouragement is available in times of trouble.

If you are in an emotionally, physically, or financially difficult spot…

…do not become discouraged.

Throughout history, during very troubling times, God provided words of hope and encouragement.

 God is For Us

“’For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” (Jeremiah 29:11)

We must understand a very important truth, if we are going to overcome trials and reach our full potential: God is for us. He is not against us.

Even if our current situation is due to discipline or judgment for our own disobedience, God still provides us with a promise of victory and deliverance. God never leaves His people hopeless, even when they drift in their love for Him.

Do Not Fear

Right now, your faith may be confronted with a terrifying unknown. You may be facing a fearful situation and feel hopeless; as if you will barely survive.

But hear this: God does not want us to be afraid of the future. Jesus often said “Do not be afraid” and “Peace be with you” in order to give comfort and show understanding.

Faith Check-up

In times of trouble it is good to evaluate and adjust our faith, and rediscover a deep need for the Lord. We see God often use trials to position us for greater blessing.

You may not understand how God will deliver you, but you can be sure that He will. Take courage and believe that He will calm the raging storm surrounding you, and you will witness the clouds breaking apart.

Eternal Hope

The Lord always has our best in mind; even while we experience great disappointment. God’s desire is for us to see Him as our only source of salvation and blessing. In the book of Revelation, God gives to each believer a message of eternal hope. It reminds us to not be afraid and describes God’s eternal triumph.

“The Lord will come again, and in the coming of the Lord lies the great hope of the believer, his great stimulus to overcome evil.” – Charles Spurgeon

Wisdom and Hope for Today

Through the Word of God we get the wisdom and direction we need to face any and every situation; today and in the future.

So, go ahead now and do your part. Ask the Lord for help and to reveal His will and plan for your life. Commit yourself fully to Him. Walk in obedience to His Word no matter what the cost. If you take this approach, God will provide for you in ways that go far beyond human understanding. Have hope and be encouraged: God is with us.

May your hope be in God and your life full of growing prosperity!

God bless you,

Prosperous Living – How to Break the Poverty Cycle and Manifest the Abundance of God!

Prosperous Living – How to Break the Poverty Cycle and Manifest the Abundance of God!

How to Use Your Power to Prosper

Prosperous LivingProsperous living does not have to be out of your reach.

If you are on a treadmill of poverty and lack, I have good news for you today. You can get off the road that leads to lack and start heading down the road that leads to prosperity.

So you’ve been busy, busy, busy – working hard, but getting nowhere. Not very satisfying is it?

God has plans to prosper you and give you a hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11) He wants you to prosper, and He has empowered you with the ability to do just that.

Doesn’t it make sense to get some positive results out of your efforts?

If you answered yes, then you will be glad to know that you can; starting today.

Manage Your Mind to Prosper

The trick to living life to the fullest is learning to program your mind for success.

When your thoughts line up with plans of success and prosperity long enough, eventually your actions follow suite.

“Tis the mind that makes the body rich.” – Shakespeare

Are You Thinking?

That may seem like a silly question, but unfortunately there appears to be a group of people that go through life and avoid using their minds. Their lives become a routine that requires little conscious effort.

They choose jobs, entertainment, and pastimes that purposely do not challenge their intellect. When they do share thoughts it tends to be about what they saw on TV or gossip about others. The trivia question on the back of the cereal box is a major accomplishment.

What Are You Thinking About?

What you think, you are. (Proverbs 23:7)

God places a great emphasis on renewing our minds daily. What we think about is vitally important to the results we get in life. Like the saying goes; “Garbage in, garbage out.”

We are limited only by the obstacles we create in our minds.

Decide to succeed and set goals to reach your desire. Take some time to work out a plan to reach each goal. Discipline yourself to keep your mind focused on what you want to achieve.

Remember, your mind and heart plans your way, but the Lord directs your steps. (Proverbs 16:9) We need to make sure we acknowledge God every step of the way.

How Are You Thinking?

We have the choice to program our conscious minds with positive, affirmative beliefs. We can think positive and hopeful and chose a victory minded attitude.

Your subconscious mind takes these messages as fact and goes to work making them a reality in your life.

Don’t short-circuit your success with a negative self-inflicted defeated image of yourself. Have the attitude of the Apostle Paul and say, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)

You can tap into the abundance of God.

I think you get the point. What we think and how we think is shaping our future. Prosperous thinking equals prosperous living. God doesn’t want to see our lives going in circles in the desert when He has a great abundance prepared and waiting for us. Manage your mind to step into prosperous living.

May your mind be renewed daily by the Word of God and result in a life of growing prosperity!

Be blessed to be a blessing –

Cheers,
Brenda

Abundant Life – Are You Meant to Prosper? How to Grab Hold of Your Growing Prosperity!

Abundant Life – Are You Meant to Prosper? How to Grab Hold of Your Growing Prosperity!

Plant Seeds of Empowerment and Get In Position to
Reach the Abundant Life

Grab Your Abundant LifeGrowing prosperity is available for all of us to reach out and grab hold of.

The abundant life is just waiting for you to take part.

I have to warn you though: The ‘grabbing hold of’ is not always an easy task. However, if you are like me, the challenge just makes you say all the louder, “Game on!”

The trick of this game is to get some things settled once and for all up front. A settled determination plants seeds of empowerment in you and will help prevent defeat from hindering your progress.

Set yourself up in a position to reach the abundant life right at the get go!

Yes, You Were Designed to Prosper

Right off the bat, be settled in the fact that it is God’s plan that you prosper. Jeremiah 29:11 says that God has plans to prosper you and give you a hope and future. Be settled in that truth whether you are on the mountain top or in the valley. God said it, so it’s settled, and that’s that.

Just because you are going through a tough time Does NOT mean God changed His mind.

Of course the enemy would sure like you to believe that. If satan can get your eyes off God and turned toward him, he is pleased. And if he can then get you to start running your mouth against God and begin speaking his lies, he’s got you hook, line, and sinker.

What are You Thinking on and Speaking on?

“For as he thinks in his heart so is he.” – Proverbs 23:7

Don’t be fooled: The dominate thoughts of your heart are what you can expect to come to pass in your life. Make sure they are filled with the truth of God’s Word!

Why do you think God puts such a great importance on meditating on His Word?

We are to renew our mind daily for a reason. The Word of God will guide you in all truth and keep you on the right path if you’ll get it planted in your heart and coming out your mouth. Fill yourself up with God’s Word and give the enemy no place.

The key to resist the enemy and attract growing prosperity is to start speaking the truth of God’s Word in your life.

Mark my words: If you’ll get the fact settled that you are meant to prosper, then you’ll stay in the game when the going gets tough. Let go of the ‘try and see’ attitude and live by faith. Tap into your God given empowerment for success and live the abundant life.

May truth be settled within you as you grab hold of growing prosperity!

Be blessed to be a blessing –

Cheers,
Brenda
