Tithing – The Secret Prosperous Ingredient in the Wealth and Abundance Recipe!
The Power of Tithing to Tap Into the Source of All Supply!
God is the Source of all supply.
How do we tap into this supply?
We can tap into the abundant Source of all supply
through our giving of tithes.
This takes faith and action, just like prayer takes spiritual and natural steps to connect with God to request His help.
Who Do You Trust as Your Financial Source?
Tithing is a natural activity with a spiritual foundation. It requires faith and action. Believe that God is your source and supply and have faith that He will take care of you financially.
The tithe is our first fruits; the first ten percent of our increase. (Proverbs 3:9) And God tells us to bring all the tithes into the storehouse, which is His house. He even tells us to test Him in this and see if He does not poor out a blessing greater than we can receive. (Malachi 3:10)
Tithing is a step of trust and obedience that God will take care of your finances.
It’s Not About the Money, It’s About Your Heart
It has been said that there are over 2,000 scriptures in the Bible on money. That is a lot to say about money. But get this: The tithe is not ultimately about your money – it’s about your heart. God doesn’t want your money, he wants your heart.
“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
— Luke 12:34
Our money is a reflection of who we love. And we can, on purpose, choose where our heart will be by choosing where our money goes. The tithe is about our attitude and honoring God!
Give the Best, Receive the Best
As previously stated, and worth repeating: God is the source of all supply. It’s important that we stop looking at people as our source, and look to God.
“The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.”
— Psalm 24:1
Tithing is partnering with God and I’m sure you’ll agree there is no better partner to have than God. A sweet deal for sure.
God is the biggest giver and first gave to us freely and in abundance. All that we have came from God, and He wants us to be blessed coming in and going out. The giving of our tithes keeps us tapped into His flow of abundant provision.
David is an encouragement to us in that he prepared with all his might to give. Giving is an act of worship and thanks to the God who provides for us. And think about it: As children of God we have the Holy Spirit living in us and He is not stingy. Our giving is a sign of the Holy Spirit at work in our lives.
Remember: A man’s harvest in life depends entirely on what he sows. God loves a cheerful giver because it shows our heart is right when we give. And as we tithe and give generously, God shows up on the scene and does things money can’t do. He shows us the secrets to unlock wealth and abundance.
May God multiply your faithful giving of tithes and offerings and shower your life with growing prosperity!

Growing Prosperity – Do You Want 7 Proven Ways to Shortcut Your Path to Wealth?
7 Proven Ways to Shortcut Your Path to Wealth
One of the paths, we all want to take on this journey, is the path to wealth…
And we want to reach this destination in life as quickly as possible.
So what are some shortcuts you can take on your path to wealth?
There are many time-tested and proven shortcuts that we can see the wealthy have in common. Some so seemingly simple that they are often overlooked in value. However, even though they may appear ‘simple’, do not underestimate the power they can have when put into action.
Without further ado, here are seven of the best ones I have discovered:
Top 7 Proven Ways to Shortcut Your Path to Wealth
1.) Acknowledge God as Your Source
Who is your source? Many people make the mistake of thinking that their job is their source of supply. But they need to realize that God is the source and uses their work as a means to let the funds flow to them.
Expect God to bless you. And remember problems and needs are opportunities for God to provide for you. His abundance is unlimited.
2.) Knowledge is Power
Is your knowledge limited? More often than not, our knowledge is far too limited to make the best financial decisions that lead to wealth.
Solomon cautions us in Proverbs 15:22, that without counsel, plans are frustrated, but with many counselors they succeed. By seeking the counsel and wisdom of others, we radically expand our knowledge and ability to make wise financial decisions.
3.) Honor God with Your Tithes
Are you a tither? Wealthy and successful people are found to give ten percent or more of their income to charity. Those that honor God with their tithe (10 percent of their income), have the right to stand on the promise in Malachi 3:10 that says, “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse… and prove me now, saith the Lord, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”
“Tithing seems to put a person in touch with some mysterious force that attracts money.”
— Norman Vincent Peale
4.) Be a Generous Giver
Do you exhibit generosity; the quality that receives more than it gives? Giving has been compared to waving a magic wand that manifests prosperity.
There is a well known proverb that tells us that those who give generously to others will gain back even more than they give. (Proverbs 11:24-25) Sound impossible? Just try it and see!
5.) Learn to Save
Have you developed the habit of saving? The discipline of consistently saving even small amounts, regularly over time, is a practice that leads to financial success. The savings habit, combined with growing knowledge to make wise investments, will shortcut your path to wealth.
6.) Stay Out of Bad Debt
Do you recognize that debt is a problem? The borrower is slave to the lender. (Proverbs 22:7) The majority of people in debt continue to get deeper in debt. The spirit of ‘keeping up with the Jones’ is a problem. Debt is your enemy.
“Debt is a merciless master. It will do everything it can to destroy you.”
– Napoleon Hill
7.) Be Thankful
Are you a thankful person? God gave you wisdom and He gave you ability. It is His will that you are blessed to be a blessing. Do you give Him thanks for your job; which provides you monetary gain? Do you give thanks to all that you have been allowed to be steward over?
Being thankful and appreciative for the little creates an atmosphere for future growth.
So there you have it: Why not use these seven proven shortcuts on your path to wealth?
May you shortcut your path to wealth and enjoy a life of growing prosperity!

Happiness – How to Use 3 Keys for a Thankful Heart to Unlock the Happy You?
Unlock the Door to a Happy You!
If you are currently an unhappy person, or a person that is unsatisfied and not in a state of well-being…
then you may just need to cultivate a thankful heart.
A key to being happy is learning to be a grateful, content, thankful person.
The good news is; happiness and thankfulness are both possible and they are both a choice. So regardless of previous negative life experiences you may have had, you can choose to change things moving forward.
These Keys for a Thankful Heart are Meant to Encourage and Get You Started:
1.) Choose to Be a Thankful Person.
If you want to be happy, then the first thing you need to do is choose to be. Once you make that choice, then comes the work. Yes, work. Like everything in life, there needs to be some action that follows our decisions.
Applying daily ‘thankfulness exercises’ to your routine, will soon make it a part of your lifestyle.
Tell yourself ‘I am a thankful person’. Start and end your day giving thanks. Always be mindful of the good in your life, including your relationships, and let that fill your thoughts.
Take inventory of all that you have to be thankful for and write it down. Writing it down will help impress it on your mind. You’ll also benefit by the law of attraction and start attracting to you what you are primarily thinking about.
2.) What is Your Perspective on Life?
You need to clearly define what happiness is to you. What makes one person happy isn’t necessarily the same for everyone. One person may be happy when they have clean water to drink and enough food to eat. Another person may be happy when they have three vehicles parked in the driveway.
Dealing with your perception will help you deal with your happiness. In order to gain a proper perspective, you need to change your thinking. As you become more grateful for all the blessings in your life, and obsess less over what you don’t have, you will begin to unlock the door to happiness.
3.) Giving Thanks is the Will of God.
A primary reason to be a thankful person is because God says so! We are told that it is the will of God that we give thanks in everything. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
Note, we are NOT told to give thanks for everything, but in everything. Remain a thankful person in good times and bad times. Regardless of how trying life may be at times, you always have something to be thankful for.
I think you get the point. You can choose to be happy, and it is so much easier if you are a thankful person. Adjust your perspective. Learn to be content with where you are, and what you have now, as you move forward. God has given us so much to be thankful for. So let’s stay in His will and be a thankful people that cultivate true happiness.
May your life be full of true happiness and growing prosperity!
God bless you –
P.S. So what are you happy & thankful for today?
Acknowledge the Almighty God with Thanksgiving
Who Was the First U.S. President to Declare a National Day of Thanksgiving?
In light of celebrating Thanksgiving here in the U.S. tomorrow, I thought I’d share a bit of history I ran across recently at Paul’s Primer. (Be sure to check out his site for more details.)
So do you know who the first U.S. President was to declare a National Day of Thanksgiving?
Thursday, November 26th was proclaimed the first Thanksgiving Day by President George Washington on October 3, 1789, and designated by the national government of the United States of America.
“Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor, and whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint Committee requested me ‘to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness.’” — President George Washington
President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national Thanksgiving Day to be celebrated on the last Thursday in November of 1863, and since then it has been observed annually in the United States.
The above proclamation by President George Washington is so powerful!
Just think if the majority of us were still practicing this today?
- Acknowledging the providence of the Almighty God
- Obeying His will
- Grateful for His benefits
- Humbly requesting His protection and favor
- Government representatives requesting this of the people
- Public thanksgiving and prayer to God
- Acknowledging with grateful hearts the many favors of the Almighty God
- Thanking God for a peaceable government for our safety and happiness
May we all, with grateful hearts, acknowledge the Almighty God with the Thanksgiving He deserves!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours –
God bless you,
P.S. If you would like to leave a comment and share something you are thankful for this year, please do!
Growing Prosperity – Do You Want to Overcome Defeat and Step Into the Abundant Life?
How to Overcome Defeat and Bring Growing Prosperity Into Your Life!
How come then, do the whopping majority of these same people, find themselves just barely scraping by?
If you feel like defeat is at your doorstep; don’t throw in the towel. Often times we simply need to make a few adjustments to overcome defeat and manifest the abundance of God.
Don’t Compare Yourself to the Ungodly
For starters, STOP wasting time comparing yourself to the unjust. STOP questioning why the wicked seem to prosper and you are barely scraping by.
A thankful heart delivers the goods. An ungrateful heart is an insult to God.
Even in our worst condition we are blessed beyond measure with the assurance of everlasting life. God forbid we dare complain to Him because someone else has more ‘things’ in their life; as if that is of greater value than our salvation.
Stand Steadfast – Don’t Be Defeated
Listen: The kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:21)
You have more power available to change your circumstance than you realize. Meditate on the Word and tap into your God given empowerment by faith.
Start asking God to open the eyes of your understanding and give you wisdom to see where you need to make adjustments in your life. Believe me the problem is not with God! It is with us.
Humble yourself and ask God to show you what you need to adjust. Be open to hearing what it is. Correction is not always easy. But it is necessary.
Then take action on what you need to change. This is not easy either, but it’s either walk out the truth of God’s Word OR go on speaking and living out the lies of the enemy.
God gives us a choice and puts before us life or death. And then He tells us to choose life.
Don’t Just Try – Do it to a Finish
Speaking of which; without faith it is impossible to please God. It takes faith to tap into the abundance of God. And faith doesn’t just try things out and see what happens.
Noah didn’t just try to build the ark, then after a few years of hard work give up and say “I tried God’s plan, but it doesn’t work.” He just did it to the finish. And as you’ll recall: it worked out really well for him and his family!
So what now? Are you going to throw in the towel and turn your back on God when times get a little tough? Sure glad Jesus didn’t. When you have faith in God’s Word you take action, obey, and follow through. And you trust God will follow through with His promise. Go now and be blessed to be a blessing and tap into your abundant life.
May you stand steadfast to the finish and continue to experience growing prosperity!
God bless you,
