The Romantically Challenged and Some Love Humor

Romantically Challenged Video by Skit Guys

First the Preview Video…

And Now the Romantically Challenged Video…

Men – do you feel romantically challenged?

Well you’re not alone, and the Skit Guys have put together a fun video taking a look at romantically challenged husbands.

Hang in there wives… remember, you married him for a reason. 🙂

“Husbands, love your wives,
even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it…
For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones.
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother,
and shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery;
but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
Nevertheless let every one of you in particular
so love his wife even as himself;
and the wife see that she reverence her husband.”
— Ephesians 5:25, 30-33

“Above all, love each other deeply,
because love covers a multitude of sins.”

— 1 Peter 4:8

Enjoy these videos, some love humor, and your spouse!

Cheers,
Brenda

Have a New Husband by Friday – Dr Kevin Leman

Have a New Husband by Friday – Dr Kevin Leman

“Have a New Husband by Friday: How to Change His Attitude, Behavior & Communication in 5 Days”

Dr. Leman writes with humor and understanding as he explains to his female audience How to Have a New Husband by Friday”. He is a Christian therapist, father of four daughters and married over 45 years. He shares this experience with his readers in a humorous yet informative manner.

Have a new husband by Friday?

Is that even possible?

Dr. Kevin Leman says it is…

The New York Times bestselling author and self-help guru shows even the most frustrated wife how she can have a new husband by Friday.

Leman reminds any wife that if what she’s doing to get better behavior out of her husband isn’t working now, it never will. So it’s time for a change. That means it’s time to change her own patterns of behavior.

Here’s how Leman suggests she handle it day to day:

  • Monday: Secrets Revealed: Cracking the Male Code?Yes, you’re different species, but you can work together in harmony.
  • Tuesday: Creatures from Another Planet . . . or Creatures of Habit? To understand men, you have to track ’em to their den.
  • Wednesday: Think about What You Want to Say, Then Divide It by Ten How to talk so your guy will really listen . . . and listen so your guy will really talk.
  • Thursday: Think of Him as a Seal Waiting for a Three-Pound Fish Why making love to your man is a key to who he is and how satisfied he’ll be, and what’s in it for you.
  • Friday: It Takes a Real Woman to Make a Man Feel like a Real Man How to open your man’s heart, revolutionize your love life, and turn him into the knight you’ve always dreamed of.

“While there are numerous marriage books to choose from, this book is different because it examines the childhood role models and learning patterns that affect us in adult marriages. Dr. Leman shares examples of a husband raised by an Overprotective Mother, No-Room-to-Fail Mama, Driven Mother and Disciplining Mother. The fresh look at your husband’s parental influence awakens a new awareness for your marriage.”

Always remember to laugh – And most important…
Don’t forget to call your mom, she still worries about you!
Christ said I have come to give you life, and life to the fullest…
This is what you have the chance to achieve –
LIFE – So Go On Living!

The Cards You Have Been Dealt In Life – Skit Guys Video

The Cards You Have Been Dealt In Life – Skit Guys Video

A look at life: The Good and the Bad

My pastor reminds us regularly that “Life is Life for Everyone!”

None of us want to deal with the difficult seasons in life, but that is a part of the package of life. And everyone who walks this earth is going to face them.

Consider Jesus, the son of God. Having already dealt with trials and temptations and then facing crucifixion He prayed, “Father, if you be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but yours, be done.”

Then immediately there appeared an angel to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. And being in agony He prayed more earnestly. (Luke 22:42-44)

May we strive to always be more like Jesus and trust God. To pray that God’s will be done, regardless of the suffering we may have to go through.

“Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:18

We don’t have to give thanks FOR the difficult times, but we do have to continue to give thanks to God IN the midst of them.

God bless you,
Brenda

What Is God’s Will? Skit Guys Video

What Is God’s Will? Skit Guys Video

A Look at Knowing God’s Will for Your Life

Enjoy some humor with this video by the Skit Guys. Be sure to hear what he says in the beginning of the video: God’s plan and will for our lives will NOT contradict God’s Word (which is His will).

So yes, there are lots of obvious things in God’s Word that are His will for everyone. God also gives us unique gifts, talents, and desires. We all have a purpose in His kingdom. When we put into motion, in life, those things we are passionate about and follow our heart – this helps move us into the center of God’s will.

For some Christians, God’s will for their life is very clear from an early age. For others, it is a constant step-by-step process that seems to be revealed with each step and act of obedience to God’s truths.

Again though, our heart and our passions will help guide us into the center of God’s will, but they need to be in line with God’s Word and not contradict it.

“I pray for you and desire that you might be filled with the
knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
That you might walk worthy of the Lord to all pleasing,
being fruitful in every good work,
and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power,
to all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
Giving thanks to the Father, which has made us
to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light;
Who has delivered us from the power of darkness,
and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son:
In whom we have redemption through His blood,
even the forgiveness of sins:
Who is the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn of every creature:
For by Him were all things created,
that are in heaven, and that are in earth,
visible and invisible, whether they be
thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:
all things were created by Him, and for Him:
and He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.”
— Colossians 1:9-17

God bless you –

Brenda

This Year Will Be Different – Skit Guys Video

This Year Will Be Different – Skit Guys Video

A humorous but honest look at several people that wrestle with goals and want to get the year started on the right foot.

I’m sure you’ll be able to relate to where these people are coming from in this video… enjoy!

May we present our body a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable to God, which is our reasonable service. And may we not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind, that we may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. — Romans 12:1-2
