Successful Living – Discover a Crucial Step in Getting from Problem to Solution!

Successful Living – Discover a Crucial Step in Getting from Problem to Solution!

Walk in Obedience and Live Victorious and Successful

Successful and Victorious Living!Successful living requires effort

and there is no getting around that fact.

We have to always be willing to do

our part as problems arise.

God wants us to live victorious and successful

and He has a wonderful answer to any problem

that shows up in our lives.

But let me remind you: We have to do our part to get from our problem to that solution.

The Supernatural Quick Fix

Who doesn’t want an instant, push-button, quick fix these days? As soon as a person has a problem in today’s society, they seem to expect someone else to provide an instant solution.

They want the pastor or church leaders to personally pray over them and hope for an easy “supernatural quick fix.” They want a person or organization to bail them out of their trouble. They expect God to do a miracle, and do it now!

Of course, turning to your pastor and church leaders for prayer and expecting a miracle from God, in time of need is a good thing.

However, the issue that comes into play with this plan of action, is when there is a refusal to walk in daily, simple obedience to God’s Word, and the guidance He provides us through our pastors and church ministers.

The Crucial Step of Obedience

Life is full of challenges and problems for all of us. Big and small they come and go on a daily basis and the best way to live successful is to live by faith, in obedience to God’s Word.

God has left us a great instruction book, the Bible, to help us live in victory. God expects His children to pray and seek Him and His Word for answers on a daily basis. And we are not to only listen and hear instruction, but we are to also be obedient to take action on what we hear.

Those who hear the Word of God and are obedient to also act on what they’ve heard, are the ones who build a strong, solid foundation and the storms of life do not shake them.

“Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings, and does them…is like a man which built a house, and dug deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.”
— Luke 6:47-48

Walk in Obedience and Walk in Blessings

Obedience to God’s Word never goes unrewarded. Walk in obedience and you’ll walk in blessings.

God gives us His Word, along with pastors and ministers who act according to His Word. They help instruct us in the Word and teach us how to apply it in our lives. Our part is to be obedient to act on the Word of the Lord by faith, no matter how insignificant it may seem.

“Why do you call Me Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?”
— Luke 6:46

If we take offense at the instructions we don’t want to hear and do, if we walk away from those who try to correct us when we are off course, and if we get angry at God and His ministers, then our lives will continue unproductive and unsuccessful.

Faith in God and His Word is richly rewarded. Acting on the Word of God is a crucial step of obedience in getting from the problem we now face to God’s wonderful solution awaiting us.

Your next step? Purpose to become a person who not only hears the Word of God, but does it as well. Be a doer of the Word and build a strong, unshakeable foundation in your life. Live by faith – victorious and successful!

May you walk in faithful obedience to the Word of the Lord and live a successful life full of growing prosperity!

Be blessed to be a blessing –

Cheers,

Growing Prosperity – Want 3 Sure-Fire Keys to Unleash the Abundance of God in Your Life?

Growing Prosperity – Want 3 Sure-Fire Keys to Unleash the Abundance of God in Your Life?

3 Sure-Fire Keys to Unleash the Abundance of GOD!

3 Keys to Unleash the Abundance of GodGrowing prosperity requires continually growing.

Many folks want to prosper,

but they don’t want to step out of their comfort zone.

The fear and discomfort of the unknown

keeps them from pursing their dreams.

Why continue to settle for just enough to get by?

Why not believe God to help you move forward with Him and unleash the abundance of God in your life?

The simple fact of the matter is this: When the abundance of God is flowing in your life, you’ll have more than enough, and be blessed to be a blessing to others!

3 Sure-Fire Keys to Unleash the Abundance of God:

1. GROWING FAITH

Growing faith is a key to unleashing abundance.

And hearing the Word of God is required to grow your faith. Press into God and increase your faith by daily hearing God’s Word. In order for your faith to grow, hearing God’s Word regularly is required. More Word equals more faith.

“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”
— Romans 10:17

Luke gives an example of keys to unleashing the full abundance of God. It starts out telling of the people pressing into Jesus to hear the Word of God as He stood by the lake.

“The people pressed upon Him to hear the Word of God.”
— Luke 5:1

Jesus saw two ships standing by the lake, but the fishermen were out and washing their nets. He got into one of the ships, which happened to belong to Simon Peter. Jesus asked Simon to push him out a little from the land. Jesus then taught the people out of the ship – allowing their faith to increase as they heard the Word.

2. ACTION ON THE WORD

Taking action is required to unleash abundance.

To continue our example… After He finished speaking, Jesus then said to Simon:

“Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.”
— Luke 5:4

Now Simon makes it clear that he is frustrated with this command. Why? Because one, they just finished cleaning their nets. And two, they were just out all night and caught nothing.

However, after voicing his frustration Simon says:

“Nevertheless, at Thy Word I will let down the net.”
— Luke 5:5

Simon takes action, BUT he does it through the eyes of natural experience. He has only little faith and expects little to nothing. Simon proves this by letting down only one net, even though Jesus said to let down your nets (plural).

Jesus tells Simon how to get in position to receive the abundance of God, how to have more than enough, and how to be blessed to be a blessing. However, Simon limits the flow of God’s provision.

But, let me tell you something. When you choose to go fishing with God, He’ll fill your boat!

To Simon’s surprise, they caught such a great multitude of fish that their net broke. They had to call to their partners in the other ship to come help. When they did they filled both ships so much so that they began to sink and could not receive all that God had prepared for them.

Simon and all those with him were astonished at the great abundance of God!

3. OBEDIENT ACTION BY FAITH

Obeying the Word of God completely by faith is like tapping into a powerful force that unleashes abundance.

Simon discovered that acting on the Word resulted in blessing. He was blessed after obediently going back out fishing that morning.

Simon was blessed for his action on the Word. But at the same time, the net broke and prevented him from receiving all that was available. Why? Simple: Because he did not obey the Word completely and his faith was small.

Yes, he took action, but he did not obey completely. Simon had enough faith to take action, but not great enough faith to obey completely and let down the nets (plural).

He was looking through the eyes of experience instead of through the eyes of faith. Because of this, he and the others with him, missed out on the full abundance God had waiting and available for them.

However, Simon was humbled. His eyes were opened to the power of obeying God completely and the great abundance that has been made available for us.

If we don’t obey completely, and put enough nets in the water, we won’t receive the full abundance God has prepared for us.

Are you like Simon and putting a limit on the flow of God’s provision in some area of your life?

Bottom line: Grow your faith by hearing the Word of God. Take action on the Word and apply it in your life. Learn to believe God and take Him for His Word. Trust Him to the point of obeying completely and you will unleash the abundance of God.

May you have ever growing faith in God and enjoy a life of growing prosperity!

Be blessed to be a blessing –

How Will Meditating on God’s Word Benefit My Life?

Meditation for the Christian Believer – How Will Meditating on God’s Word Benefit My Life?

Powerful, Life-Changing Benefits from Christian Meditation!

Christian meditation can benefit our lives in more ways than we can count.

True meditation comes from the heart and with a desire to please God;

not with an attitude of what’s in it for me.

A key point to note: The Bible commands us to meditate and obedience to God’s Word always benefits our life.

Meditation on God’s Word Draws Us Closer to Him and Brings Blessings

Christian meditation is based on the Word of God. Meditating daily helps reveal God and causes us to be blessed. David discovered this too, and tells us in Psalm 1:1-2 that those who delight themselves in the law of the Lord and meditate on it day and night are blessed.

Meditation on God’s Word is time spent with God. And like all relationships, time invested helps make it stronger and more intimate.

Life and Grace Come Out of the Word of God

From the Word of God comes life. God has already given us everything that pertains to life and godliness (spiritual training). Grace and peace are multiplied through the knowledge of God and His divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. (2 Peter 1: 2-3)

Meditation taps into a source of blessings that goes beyond the natural world. It allows us to tap into the very life of God.

Our Purpose, Inheritance, and the Promises of God are Revealed in His Word

We were created for a purpose.  And looking to our Creator will reveal His plan, so that we can live a fulfilling life. The Lord says He has plans to prosper us and not to harm us; plans to give us hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

“We have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things after the counsel of His own will.” – Ephesians 1:11

If we want to know God’s will for our lives, then we need to read His will. How can we claim our inheritance if we don’t know what belongs to us?

God’s Word is loaded with the next promise just waiting to be launched in our life. The Bible tells us we have been given exceeding great and precious promises so that we might be partakers of His divine nature. (2 Peter 1:4) God delights in honoring His promises that we bring to Him.

Mark my words: Meditating brings about revelation of God’s Word and causes us to act on it. This in turn results in the manifestation of God’s promises and blessings in our lives. A purposeful, victorious life comes when we are connected to the life of God.

Is Christian meditation a part of your daily life?

God bless you,
Brenda

Prosperous Living: Discover the Key to God’s Heart and Manifest Supernatural Abundance!

Prosperous Living: Discover the Key to God’s Heart and Manifest Supernatural Abundance!

Manifest Supernatural Abundance with the Key to God’s Heart

Prosperous living is the result of following natural and spiritual laws.

Everyone at some point begins to seek a better, more fulfilling and abundant life.

The desire to move from lack, worry, stress and the struggle of living in ‘not enough’ stirs us up to seek out a better life for ourselves and those around us.

With the search for a prosperous life also comes the realization that we are not able to make it happen on our own. We are simply limited in our human abilities. And because of our limitations we only get limited results.

There is, however, One who has unlimited abilities. Nothing is impossible with God. And when we seek to touch the heart of God, we soon find we also unlock the door to the abundance of God.

The Key to God’s Heart

Once you discover the key to God’s heart, you also discover how to manifest supernatural abundance in your life. Every believer can earn the key to God’s heart through demonstrating obedience to His Word.

“I was born to adore and obey.” — C.S. Lewis

Are you with me still? Just the mention of obedience tends to cause many to turn and settle back into their ‘land of not enough’ rather than make the necessary adjustments for positive change.

Glad to see you are not one of those, since you are still here!

When we have the key to someone’s heart we know how to reach what is inside. Some people think the key to God’s heart is love, faith, or service. But the real key is obedience.

Even Jesus said “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make our abode with him.” (John 14:23)

Jesus is speaking of the important principle in our relationship with God: obedience.

The Rewards of Obedience

God’s demand for obedience is based on His commitment to our well-being.

“Blessings shall come on you, and overtake you, if you shall hearken to the voice of the Lord your God.” — Deuteronomy 28:2

Nothing thrills a parent better than obedience from their children, and the same is especially true with our Father in Heaven. Every believer should make obedience a priority in their life.

The key to God’s heart is simply following His principles. As we submit to the Word of God it brings honor and glory to Him and proves our devotion and love for Him. This also opens the door to unlimited, abundant supply.

Our obedient actions speak louder than words; especially to God. I’m sure you can think of times that you have obeyed and disobeyed. One of the main reasons people choose not to obey is out of fear. Ask God to show you how to follow and obey Him without restraint.

Some Christians have a difficult time with the concept of being rewarded for Christ-like behavior. They either believe rewards only come in eternity or they feel they do not deserve anything. But God promised we will receive rewards in heaven and we can receive them on earth.

Of course, we should not obey solely for reward. Instead, we should please God and obey Him because of who He is as God the Father and Creator of all things.

The fact of the matter is: When we obey God we will prosper and tap into supernatural abundance. Blessings follow obedience. When we obey God, it allows Him the privilege of demonstrating His awesome power in our lives. Our obedience allows God to bless others through us. But that being said, the greatest reward we can attain is His love and favor.

May you live a life of obedience to God and experience abundant growing prosperity!

While I’m Waiting by John Waller – Fireproof Movie Music Video

While I’m Waiting by John Waller – Fireproof Movie Music Video

Wait on the Lord, even when times are painful. While you’re waiting, takes steps of obedience and continue to serve and worship the Lord.

Wait on the Lord and move ahead with boldness and confidence.

Marriage is not always easy and it takes a lot of work from both partners… And a successful marriage requires keeping God in the center of it!

God’s love has been shed abroad in my heart (Romans 5:5) therefore…

  • I endure long, and I’m patient and kind; I’m never envious nor do I boil over with jealousy. I’m not boastful or vainglorious, and I do not display myself haughtily.
  • I’m not conceited, arrogant or inflated with pride. I’m not rude or unmannerly, and I don’t act unbecomingly. I don’t insist on my own rights or my own way; I’m not self-seeking. I’m not touchy, fretful or resentful. I take no account of the evil done to me; I pay no attention to a suffered wrong.
  • I don’t rejoice at injustice or unrighteousness, but I rejoice when right and truth prevail.
  • I bear up under anything and everything that comes along. I’m ever ready to believe the best of every person. My hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and I endure everything without weakening.
  • My love never fails or fades out. My love never becomes obsolete. My love never come to an end.

— 1 Corinthians 13 4-8

May God strengthen and prosper your marriage like never before!

God bless you,
Brenda

Growing Prosperity – What Does the Attitude of Obedience Have to Do With Prospering?

Growing Prosperity – What Does the Attitude of Obedience Have to Do With Prospering?

The Heart of Obedience

Willing Obedient HeartGrowing prosperity is the result of obediently taking the right action steps that lead to abundance.

Manifestation also comes a whole lot quicker and easier when obedience is combined with the right attitude.

How about we take a look at the attitude of obedience?

We know the blessing of God follows obedience to His Word, but the attitude you have in your heart is important too.

The Attitude of Obedience

Many people obey God’s commands but they do it with a bad attitude. 🙁

“If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.”
— Isaiah 1:19

Notice this verse also includes our willingness be mixed with our obedience; in order to prosper and receive abundance. When we step out and act in obedience to the Word of God, regardless of what area, we should do so with a cheerful heart. 🙂

God loves a cheerful giver! (2 Corinthians 9:7)

If you are giving tithes and offerings, or honoring your father and mother, or worshipping God, or walking in love, or forgiving, or praying, it should be done with a positive and willing attitude. When we do what the Bible says we will eat the good of the land.

The opposite side of cheerful obedience is to be grudging or unwilling. The person who obeys, but has a wrong attitude receives a different reward. Keep in mind; we do not have an excuse to disobey. We simply need to adjust the attitude of our heart to line up with our obedience.

Here is some good news: The Lord searches the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is perfect toward Him. (2 Chronicles 16:9) Perfect here means to have a completely willing heart before God.

Now is the time to start putting this into action. Let’s choose today to not only obey God, but to keep a right attitude when we do. God can do something with us when we have a willing heart. At this very moment He is searching to show himself strong on our behalf and help us prosper and abound.

May your willingness and obedience fill your life with growing prosperity!

Be blessed to be a blessing –

Cheers,
Brenda

What Is God’s Will? Skit Guys Video

What Is God’s Will? Skit Guys Video

A Look at Knowing God’s Will for Your Life

Enjoy some humor with this video by the Skit Guys. Be sure to hear what he says in the beginning of the video: God’s plan and will for our lives will NOT contradict God’s Word (which is His will).

So yes, there are lots of obvious things in God’s Word that are His will for everyone. God also gives us unique gifts, talents, and desires. We all have a purpose in His kingdom. When we put into motion, in life, those things we are passionate about and follow our heart – this helps move us into the center of God’s will.

For some Christians, God’s will for their life is very clear from an early age. For others, it is a constant step-by-step process that seems to be revealed with each step and act of obedience to God’s truths.

Again though, our heart and our passions will help guide us into the center of God’s will, but they need to be in line with God’s Word and not contradict it.

“I pray for you and desire that you might be filled with the
knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
That you might walk worthy of the Lord to all pleasing,
being fruitful in every good work,
and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power,
to all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
Giving thanks to the Father, which has made us
to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light;
Who has delivered us from the power of darkness,
and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son:
In whom we have redemption through His blood,
even the forgiveness of sins:
Who is the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn of every creature:
For by Him were all things created,
that are in heaven, and that are in earth,
visible and invisible, whether they be
thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:
all things were created by Him, and for Him:
and He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.”
— Colossians 1:9-17

Growing Prosperity or Poverty? Thank Goodness You Can Choose the Abundance of God!

Growing Prosperity or Poverty? Thank Goodness You Can Choose the Abundance of God!

The Path of Growing Prosperity

path_to_growing_prosperityGrowing prosperity and living the abundant life is something most people desire.

Wouldn’t you agree?

Isn’t that why you are reading this right now?

But is it a bad desire?

Consider those who don’t seek a life of growing prosperity and the abundance of God. They often believe the desire to prosper is selfish. And yes, within the ranks of those that seem to be prospering will be a scattering of selfish and greedy people. We do not have to look far in this world to find a selfish person in any arena of life.

But get this: The same group of people that believe it is ungodly to prosper, also seem to think it is a spiritual quality to be poor.

Take note, you cannot be greedy and truly prosper. Part of the spiritual law of prosperity is giving to God and also being a generous giver with others. You simply have to give in order to receive.

Look at this Bible verse:

“There is that scatters, and yet increases; and there is that withholds more than is meet, but it tends to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat and he that waters shall be watered also himself.”
— Proverbs 11:24-25

What does this say? When you scatter and give, you’ll have increase. When you withhold and keep more for yourself than you should, it leads to poverty. When you are generous and bless others you will prosper.

Why do you want to have more money, a nicer house, closer relationships, more free time, a stronger faith? I think you would agree it is with the thought of others in mind more than yourself.

Growing prosperity provides the ability to give to others in a greater measure and in a greater quality. This in turn brings great satisfaction in life.

What a great feeling to be able to move your family into a nicer house in a safer neighborhood. There is nothing better in this world than a prosperous marriage. It is a great feeling to upgrade the car and know your family is driving a safe, dependable vehicle. And to have the free time to be spend with your family and serve in your community is so valuable. Having abundance financially to give generously to those in need is and wonderful position to be in.

The abundance of God is more than financial and material. It is God’s desire that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. (3 John 2) Prospering spiritually is the ultimate. There is nothing greater than strong faith and a close walk with God! And the closer you walk in obedience to God, the greater His involvement in your growing prosperity.

Thank goodness you can decide which path you’ll take in life. Even if you are currently in poverty, there is hope and expectations of better things to come. The abundance of God is waiting for you as you begin to honor the Lord and follow His principles and laws of prosperity.

May your life continue to abound with growing prosperity!

Be blessed to be a blessing –

Cheers,
Brenda
