Growing Prosperity – Want 3 Sure-Fire Keys to Unleash the Abundance of God in Your Life?

3 Sure-Fire Keys to Unleash the Abundance of GOD!

3 Keys to Unleash the Abundance of GodGrowing prosperity requires continually growing.

Many folks want to prosper,

but they don’t want to step out of their comfort zone.

The fear and discomfort of the unknown

keeps them from pursing their dreams.

Why continue to settle for just enough to get by?

Why not believe God to help you move forward with Him and unleash the abundance of God in your life?

The simple fact of the matter is this: When the abundance of God is flowing in your life, you’ll have more than enough, and be blessed to be a blessing to others!

3 Sure-Fire Keys to Unleash the Abundance of God:

1. GROWING FAITH

Growing faith is a key to unleashing abundance.

And hearing the Word of God is required to grow your faith. Press into God and increase your faith by daily hearing God’s Word. In order for your faith to grow, hearing God’s Word regularly is required. More Word equals more faith.

“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”
— Romans 10:17

Luke gives an example of keys to unleashing the full abundance of God. It starts out telling of the people pressing into Jesus to hear the Word of God as He stood by the lake.

“The people pressed upon Him to hear the Word of God.”
— Luke 5:1

Jesus saw two ships standing by the lake, but the fishermen were out and washing their nets. He got into one of the ships, which happened to belong to Simon Peter. Jesus asked Simon to push him out a little from the land. Jesus then taught the people out of the ship – allowing their faith to increase as they heard the Word.

2. ACTION ON THE WORD

Taking action is required to unleash abundance.

To continue our example… After He finished speaking, Jesus then said to Simon:

“Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.”
— Luke 5:4

Now Simon makes it clear that he is frustrated with this command. Why? Because one, they just finished cleaning their nets. And two, they were just out all night and caught nothing.

However, after voicing his frustration Simon says:

“Nevertheless, at Thy Word I will let down the net.”
— Luke 5:5

Simon takes action, BUT he does it through the eyes of natural experience. He has only little faith and expects little to nothing. Simon proves this by letting down only one net, even though Jesus said to let down your nets (plural).

Jesus tells Simon how to get in position to receive the abundance of God, how to have more than enough, and how to be blessed to be a blessing. However, Simon limits the flow of God’s provision.

But, let me tell you something. When you choose to go fishing with God, He’ll fill your boat!

To Simon’s surprise, they caught such a great multitude of fish that their net broke. They had to call to their partners in the other ship to come help. When they did they filled both ships so much so that they began to sink and could not receive all that God had prepared for them.

Simon and all those with him were astonished at the great abundance of God!

3. OBEDIENT ACTION BY FAITH

Obeying the Word of God completely by faith is like tapping into a powerful force that unleashes abundance.

Simon discovered that acting on the Word resulted in blessing. He was blessed after obediently going back out fishing that morning.

Simon was blessed for his action on the Word. But at the same time, the net broke and prevented him from receiving all that was available. Why? Simple: Because he did not obey the Word completely and his faith was small.

Yes, he took action, but he did not obey completely. Simon had enough faith to take action, but not great enough faith to obey completely and let down the nets (plural).

He was looking through the eyes of experience instead of through the eyes of faith. Because of this, he and the others with him, missed out on the full abundance God had waiting and available for them.

However, Simon was humbled. His eyes were opened to the power of obeying God completely and the great abundance that has been made available for us.

If we don’t obey completely, and put enough nets in the water, we won’t receive the full abundance God has prepared for us.

Are you like Simon and putting a limit on the flow of God’s provision in some area of your life?

Bottom line: Grow your faith by hearing the Word of God. Take action on the Word and apply it in your life. Learn to believe God and take Him for His Word. Trust Him to the point of obeying completely and you will unleash the abundance of God.

May you have ever growing faith in God and enjoy a life of growing prosperity!

Be blessed to be a blessing –

Soar higher in Him,
Brenda
