How Can Christian Meditation Renew My Mind and Renew My Life?

How Can Christian Meditation Renew My Mind and Renew My Life?

Does Biblical Meditation Really Have the Power to Renew You?

Christian Meditation to Renew Your Mind and LifeChristian meditation is based on the divine,

living, and powerful Word of God.

Does it have the ability to renew

our minds and lives?

Absolutely!

How do we know? God says so.

“Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.”
— Romans 12:2

Renew Your Mind With Biblical Meditation

When we meditate on the Word of God we release the thoughts of our mind and put on the mind of Christ. There is an exchange for the world’s way of thinking with a renewing of our mind with God’s way of thinking.

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.”
— Philippians 2:5

More good news: As believers we have the Holy Spirit living within us as a powerful aid to meditation. Jesus told us that the Father will send the Holy Spirit in His name to teach us all things and bring to remembrance all things Jesus said. (John 14:26)

There is great power in affirming the revealed truths of God’s Word!

“An affirmation is a statement of Truth consciously used so as to become the directing power of Life’s expression.”
Orison Swett Marden

Renew Your Life With Biblical Meditation

The answer to renewing our life is found in the Word of God; in which we meditate and renew our mind with day and night.

Through the power of the Word of God and by meditation on it, we align ourselves with God’s thoughts, God’s provision, and God’s ways. God’s will is found in His Word. There is no greater and exciting place to be than in the center of God’s will.

Matthew 12:34 declares, “Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.”

With meditation we can challenge every thought that resists the knowledge of God by speaking the Word of God. Meditating, confessing, and acting on His ways holds life transforming power.

In Joshua 1:8 he advises: “Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

I could go on and on…

The point is: As we renew our mind through meditation on the Word of God, we’ll soon find that the life transforming power of His Word renews our life!

Are you ready to let the divine, living, and powerful Word of God renew your mind and life through Christian meditation?

God bless you always,
Brenda

Inspirational Living: 3 Keys for Living in the Joy of the Lord and Laughing Your Troubles Away!

Inspirational Living: 3 Keys for Living in the Joy of the Lord and Laughing Your Troubles Away!

Keeping the Joy of the Lord Flowing in Your Life!

Laugh at Trouble and Keep the Joy of the Lord Flowing!Living in the joy of the Lord is the only way to live.

And do you know that even in times of trouble,

joy does not have to leave you?

Yes, it is possible to be peaceful and cheerful…

in the midst of trouble. Why? Because Jesus said so!

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
— John 16:33

3 Keys for Keeping the Joy of the Lord Flowing in Your Life:

1. Do Not Let Trouble Shock You

Just because the storms of life blow through, doesn’t mean you have to lose your joy. It is often said that the key to success in life does not depend on the hand you’ve been dealt, but how you deal with what you’ve been dealt.

That means that how we choose to react to trouble is what will determine our success. Problems and tribulations are a part of life, but they don’t have to steal our joy.

2. Laugh at Trouble

Learn to laugh at your trouble and choose joy over worry and anxiety. We can trust God or worry. Either way we’ll still be confronted with trouble in life. Why go through it in misery if you can instead overcome it with joy?

“Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again – rejoice!” — Philippians 4:4

Christ has already overcome the world and in Him we have power and authority to overcome. Realizing and believing that is a key to not losing any precious joy. Choose to focus on the promise and not the problem.

3. Confess Promises to the Problem

Replace the moaning, groaning, whining, and complaining with rejoicing. Rejoicing about what? Rejoicing about the promises God has given us in His Word. Dig deep into every promise so you can and dwell in that secret place of the Most High.

God is for you so quit fretting about who is against you. On a daily basis, refill yourself with joy by getting into the Word and confronting troubles with promises.

For example, if sickness tries to attack your body, then confront it by confessing:  ‘By His stripes I am healed.’ (1 Peter 2:24)

We were created to walk in the joy of the Lord, not to worry about every little thing. His joy can keep us living well. The healing power of joy works like medicine to our bodies.

“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine; but a broken spirit drieth the bones.”
— Proverbs 17:22

If you feel yourself growing weary, then confess: ‘I am steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord and knowing my work is not in vain.’ (1 Corinthians 15:58)

If you are facing financial troubles then confess the promise: ‘My God shall supply all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.’ (Philippians 4:19)

Bottom line: The Word of God is filled with promises that are bigger than any type of trouble that comes our way. We can live with joy because Jesus has overcome the world and in Him we are more than conquerors. Resist any negative thoughts of failure or defeat and continually refill yourself with joy.

May your life abundantly flow with the joy of the Lord and growing prosperity!

God bless you always,
Brenda

“Love Has Come” – Music Video

Love has come.
Jesus already paid the price on the cross.
Every heart can now be set free.

And Jesus is going to return again. And there is coming a moment when every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and God is Love. Everyone will see that God is love and He sent His love for us all!

Although one day every knee shall bow and every tongue confess (have to affirm, no one will be able to deny the truth) that Jesus Christ is Lord, only those who choose to put their faith in Him, in this life, will have an everlasting relationship with Him after death.

God’s people have much to be excited about!

“And being found in fashion as a man,
He humbled himself, and became obedient to death,
even the death of the cross.
Wherefore God also has highly exalted Him,
and given Him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
of things in heaven, and things in earth,
and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that
Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
— Philippians 2:8-10

Enjoy this song!

God bless you –

Christian Meditation – How To Get Started Meditating God’s Word Simply and Easily?

Christian Meditation – How To Get Started Meditating God’s Word Simply and Easily?

Discover Tips on Where, How, and When to Meditate

Christian meditation is very natural and should be a normal part of every believer’s life.

Keep in mind, as with anything new…

there can be a time of adjustment getting meditation fit into the normal flow of our daily schedule.

Now, how do we go about meditating?

Where and How Should I Meditate?

Meditation can take place almost anywhere. It is probably best to find a quiet, comfortable place with some privacy. A natural setting is ideal. Really, though, it is possible to meditate where ever you find yourself. In your room, at your desk, walking in the park, driving in your car; all of these are just a few options.

Where we meditate is going to depend on the type of meditation and technique to be used.

For example if we intend to do an intense study on a specific subject, we are going to need a quiet, private place where we can read and take notes. The same might be the case in times of meditative prayer confessing scripture and opening our hearts to hear from the Lord.

However, if we’ll be listening to a recording of biblical verses and affirmations to memorize and confess, we could do this while driving or doing daily chores around the house. If you start doing your meditation in the same place every day, your mind and body will begin to know your intention and it will make the process even easier.

What Should I Meditate?

What should we focus on in Christian meditation? There are almost endless subjects from the Word of God to meditate on. The following verse will help us out and is also a great one to check our self with throughout the day.

“Whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” — Philippians 4:8

We might just open the Bible and reflect on something that jumps out and speaks to our heart, or a certain scripture might come to mind. God might also give us an intense interest in a subject as a cue for meditation.

When Should I Meditate?

Christian meditation can take place just about any time. However, there are two key times we can actively turn our minds over to God’s Word for maximum results.

Upon awakening, filling our minds with God’s Word first thing in the morning is a great way to start the day. Meditating on the Word of God just before falling asleep will replay it over and over in our mind during the night.

Regardless of the where, how, what, and when: Our relationship with God should be a priority. Daily time in God’s Word will allow Him to speak to us throughout the day. The divine light can shine in our life through Christian meditation.

Why not purpose to make it a daily habit and get started meditating today?

God bless you,
Brenda
