Prosper and Experience the Good Life – 2 Keys to Discovering God’s Best!

Prosper and Experience the Good Life – 2 Keys to Discovering God’s Best!

2 Keys to Discovering GOD’s Best!

Live the Good Life of God's Best!Prosper and live the good life.

Are you one of the many seeking

to experience the good life?

Have you been searching for a

secret formula to have God’s best

poured out on your life?

The thing is, as we make decisions every day, our choices determine the quality of our lives. This is why it is very important to seek God’s guidance in order to experience His best.

How do we discover God’s best? The answer is two-fold.

2 KEYS TO DISCOVERING GOD’S BEST:

1. Realize that God’s Way is the Best Way

We must first realize that God’s way is the best way.

“My ways are higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
— Isaiah 55:9

Realizing that God’s way is better than our way is a difficult process for many of us. We like to think that we can figure things out on our own. We pride ourselves that we don’t need help from anyone else as we wrestle with our troubles and decisions.

However, our pride only keeps us from enjoying God’s best. And as many of us have already discovered, pride comes before the fall. (Proverbs 16:18)

We must understand that God longs to help us and bless us. There is truly no one who knows our needs better than He does.

“’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”
— Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

Acknowledging this opens our hearts to the second key that will help us discover God’s best.

2. Learn to Listen to God’s Voice

When we understand the first key, and that God not only knows our needs better than anyone else, but that He also longs to bless us, our hearts will be fertile ground to receive His guidance and instruction.

We can then begin to welcome the promptings of the Holy Spirit and to find practical insight for our daily lives as we read God’s Word.

“And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walk in it, when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left.”
— Isaiah 30:21

A true indicator of hearing God’s voice will be a new and complete sense of peace. Jesus said that He gives peace “not as the world gives” (John 14:27), but “a peace that passes understanding.” (Phil. 4:7) His peace, then, must be the guiding force of each decision we make.

Get started today: Choose to let the peace of God guide you in your next important decision, while keeping in mind that God’s best will far exceed any good thing you could create on your own. Put these two keys to work in your daily life choices and get on track to discovering God’s best.

May you allow God’s voice to guide you into His best and a life of growing prosperity!

Be blessed to be a blessing –

Cheers,
Brenda

What Are Words by Chris Medina – Music Video

“What Are Words” by Chris Medina – Music Video

“What Are Words” by Chris Medina

released as the single “What Are Words”

Chris Medina sings “What are Words” in this music video. 2011 American Idol castoff, Chris touched everyone’s hearts with his heartbreaking love story about his girlfriend who currently suffers from brain injury due to a car accident. Two months before his wedding, his beloved fiance was involved in a terrible accident resulting in a traumatic brain injury.

Chris continues to stand by her side, hopeful for a miracle.

“What Are Words” Song Lyrics:

Anywhere you are, I am near
Anywhere you go, I’ll be there
Anytime you whisper my name, you’ll see
How every single promise I keep
Cuz what kind of guy would I be
If I was to leave when you need me most

What are words
If you really don’t mean them
When you say them
What are words
If they’re only for good times
Then they don’t

When it’s love
Yeah, you say them out loud
Those words, They never go away
They live on, even when we’re gone

And I know an angel was sent just for me
And I know I’m meant to be where I am
And I’m gonna be
Standing right beside her tonight
And I’m gonna be by your side
I would never leave when she needs me most

What are words
If you really don’t mean them
When you say them
What are words
If they’re only for good times
Then they don’t

When it’s love
Yeah, you say them out loud
Those words, They never go away
They live on, even when we’re gone

Anywhere you are, I am near
Anywhere you go, I’ll be there
And I’m gonna be here forever more
Every single promise I keep
Cuz what kind of guy would I be
If I was to leave when you need me most

I’m forever keeping my angel close

“LORD, I cry unto you: make haste unto me;
give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto You.
Let my prayer be set forth before you as incense;
and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice…
My eyes are unto You, O GOD the LORD:
in You is my trust.”
— Psalm 141:1-2,8

Enjoy this beautiful, heartfelt song and be sure and take time to pray for a miracle for this young lady.

God bless you –

Christian Meditation – How To Get Started Meditating God’s Word Simply and Easily?

Christian Meditation – How To Get Started Meditating God’s Word Simply and Easily?

Discover Tips on Where, How, and When to Meditate

Christian meditation is very natural and should be a normal part of every believer’s life.

Keep in mind, as with anything new…

there can be a time of adjustment getting meditation fit into the normal flow of our daily schedule.

Now, how do we go about meditating?

Where and How Should I Meditate?

Meditation can take place almost anywhere. It is probably best to find a quiet, comfortable place with some privacy. A natural setting is ideal. Really, though, it is possible to meditate where ever you find yourself. In your room, at your desk, walking in the park, driving in your car; all of these are just a few options.

Where we meditate is going to depend on the type of meditation and technique to be used.

For example if we intend to do an intense study on a specific subject, we are going to need a quiet, private place where we can read and take notes. The same might be the case in times of meditative prayer confessing scripture and opening our hearts to hear from the Lord.

However, if we’ll be listening to a recording of biblical verses and affirmations to memorize and confess, we could do this while driving or doing daily chores around the house. If you start doing your meditation in the same place every day, your mind and body will begin to know your intention and it will make the process even easier.

What Should I Meditate?

What should we focus on in Christian meditation? There are almost endless subjects from the Word of God to meditate on. The following verse will help us out and is also a great one to check our self with throughout the day.

“Whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” — Philippians 4:8

We might just open the Bible and reflect on something that jumps out and speaks to our heart, or a certain scripture might come to mind. God might also give us an intense interest in a subject as a cue for meditation.

When Should I Meditate?

Christian meditation can take place just about any time. However, there are two key times we can actively turn our minds over to God’s Word for maximum results.

Upon awakening, filling our minds with God’s Word first thing in the morning is a great way to start the day. Meditating on the Word of God just before falling asleep will replay it over and over in our mind during the night.

Regardless of the where, how, what, and when: Our relationship with God should be a priority. Daily time in God’s Word will allow Him to speak to us throughout the day. The divine light can shine in our life through Christian meditation.

Why not purpose to make it a daily habit and get started meditating today?

God bless you,

Give Me Your Eyes – Brandon Heath Music Video

Give Me Your Eyes – Brandon Heath Christian Music Video

“Give Me Your Eyes” by Brandon Heath

I love this song and the message…

How much this world would change for the better if we all began to pray that God open our eyes and hearts to see the needs of those around us! And that we then take action

This fast paced world of today, with all the technology that allows us to be so connected, still seems to have us running in circles – all consumed with ourselves and disconnected… not noticing those hurting around us.

Several years ago, there was an older man, who was semi-retired and started working part-time at the same company I was at. Soon after we met I kept getting this tugging inside me to invite him to church. But I kept putting it off and about two months after he started working there he took his life.

When I hear songs like this it reminds me that God is trying to get our attention – to look beyond ourselves – and to not only see the needs of others, but to have a heart of compassion that makes us actually do something.

How hard is the simple act of inviting someone to church? Especially if we feel the urge to invite someone specific and see they are in need. I do not know if I had invited my co-worker, if the outcome would have been different. All I know is I was supposed to do my part and I didn’t… and I regret that now.

Tomorrow is a new day. And we have new opportunities to do something as simple as give a smile and a kind compliment to someone – who knows what a difference that may make in their life!

May our eyes and hearts be opened with compassion to reach out in love to others.

God bless you,
Brenda

P.S. “Give Me Your Eyes” by Brandon Heath is on the WOW Hits 2009 CD available on Amazon.

Prayer Requests with Thanksgiving to God, Phil 4

Prayer Requests with Thanksgiving to God

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God, which passes all understanding,
shall keep you hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7

This video is about 1-1/2 minutes.

A favorite couple of verses that tell us not to be anxious about anything, but let our requests be made known to God with thanksgiving and then the peace of God will keep our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus!

May you be encouraged & enjoy the peace of God!

Be blessed,
Brenda
