Christian Meditation – What if My Meditation Time is Not Getting Results?

Christian Meditation – What if My Meditation Time is Not Getting Results?

Insights and Tips into Christian Meditation that Get Results!

Christian meditation –

is meant to be a part of

every believer’s life.

Okay…

So what do we do if we’ve been

meditating on God’s Word,

but our lives still seem to be a big mess?

“Meditate day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written.”
— Joshua 1:8

The Faithful Get Results

God commands us to meditate. So we need to practice it regardless of whether or not we think it is making a difference.

The truth is: If we work the Word, the Word will work in our life and make a positive difference.

We’ve already spent our lifetime making a mess of things and filling our mind and heart with junk. Even if we are not seeing positive results, we should continue to obey God’s instruction to meditate and eventually positive results will manifest.

Have you ever found it interesting that the Bible is full of “suddenly” verses? Meditating daily on the power filled Word of God, sets us up for a suddenly.

Let me tell you, when the “suddenly” hits and the eyes of your understanding are opened, your life will begin to transform. So even if you feel like your meditation time is not getting results – Do Not Stop!

You may just be on the verge of a “suddenly”.

Keep in mind: Christian meditation is a form of worship and it honors God. Our heart should be set on the giving of our time to the Word of God and our relationship with Him first; not with a focus of “how will this benefit me.”

A Powerful Biblical Meditation Prayer

Here is a really simple way to have the Word of God come alive in your life: Pray Ephesians chapter one every day. Write it out on a note card and keep it with you always. Record yourself reading it and listen to it daily. Make it personal and put your name into it.

This is just a snippet (wait until you read the whole chapter):

“…God I am asking You to give unto me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. I’m asking You God, to open the eyes of my understanding, that I may be enlightened, and know the hope of Your calling…”

Do this daily for at least six months. The Word of God will soon become a different book to you. You’ll begin to see things you never did before! At any moment a “suddenly” can happen in your life.

Bottom line: Diligence will eventually be rewarded and obedience does not go unnoticed. Stay a faithful Christian and commit to a life of meditation on God’s Word!

Are you ready to renew your commitment to daily Christian meditation?

God bless you,
Brenda

Growing Prosperity – 5 Prayers to Help Manifest the Abundance of God in Your Life!

Growing Prosperity – 5 Prayers to Help Manifest the Abundance of God in Your Life!

Praying the Word of God Over Your Situation

Growing prosperity comes from God the Great Giver.

He loves to bless His children…

From the earliest of days, God has been searching for individuals who have their hearts toward Him; on whom He can pour out His blessings.

Unfortunately, whenever He has poured out prosperity, the people have quickly forgotten who made them prosper. The tendency is for them to begin seeking the gift and not the Giver.

These scriptural prayers for prosperity are based on the spirit of seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and then enjoying the manifestation of His generous abundance.

Each of our desires, pertaining to wealth and prosperity, cannot be to consume the abundance of God on ourselves, but to understand, just like Abraham did, that all of us are blessed so that we can be a blessing.

5 Scriptural Prayers for Prosperity

1) Angels on Assignment

Thank You, Father, that as I speak Your Word over my finances today, Your angelic warriors are hearkening to the sound of my voice to perform that which I speak. (Psalm 103:20)

2) Prosperity Now

I thank You, Heavenly Father, for this day You have made and I rejoice in it. You are sending me prosperity now and giving me success. (Psalm 118:24-25)

3) Taught to Profit

Thank You, Lord God, that You are teaching me to profit. You are leading me by the way that I should go. Therefore, I declare that because I hearken to Your commandments, my peace and prosperity are like a flowing river. (Isaiah 48:17-18)

4) Reap Bountifully

Father, I confess that because I have sown bountifully in order to bless others, I also reap bountifully with blessings. (2 Corinthians 9:6)

5) Prospering In All I Do

Father God, I declare that because I keep Your charge, walk in Your ways, and obey Your voice, I am prospering in all that I do and wherever I turn. (I Kings 2:3)

So, go ahead; begin praying these prosperity prayers daily. They are meant to help you get started learning how to pray the Word in the area of provision, and help you plant the Word of God into your heart.

Keep in mind: The more the Word of God is planted within us, the more spontaneous our prayers will become. Once you begin regularly praying the Word, you will find that as you are reading the Word, many other scriptures will begin to “come alive” for the purpose of prayer. Get ready now to have the abundance of God manifest in your life.

May you seek first the kingdom of God and enjoy a life of growing prosperity!

Be blessed to be a blessing –

Cheers,
Brenda

National Day of Prayer 2010 – America’s People Crying Out to God!

National Day of Prayer 2010 – America’s People Crying Out to God!

The People of the United States Pray to God in One Accord!

Today the citizens of the United States of America come together, in one accord, all across the nation to cry out to God for His great mercy and grace on our country and people.

Below is the official proclamation from the President for the 2010 National Day of Prayer:

=============

THE WHITE HOUSE

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER, 2010
– – – – – – –
BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

A PROCLAMATION

Throughout our history, whether in times of great joy and thanksgiving, or in times of great challenge and uncertainty, Americans have turned to prayer.  In prayer, we have expressed gratitude and humility, sought guidance and forgiveness, and received inspiration and assistance, both in good times and in bad.

On this day, let us give thanks for the many blessings God has bestowed upon our Nation.  Let us rejoice for the blessing of freedom both to believe and to live our beliefs, and for the many other freedoms and opportunities that bring us together as one Nation.  Let us ask for wisdom, compassion, and discernment of justice as we address the great challenges of our time.

We are blessed to live in a Nation that counts freedom of conscience and free exercise of religion among its most fundamental principles, thereby ensuring that all people of goodwill may hold and practice their beliefs according to the dictates of their consciences.  Prayer has been a sustaining way for many Americans of diverse faiths to express their most cherished beliefs, and thus we have long deemed it fitting and proper to publicly recognize the importance of prayer on this day across the Nation.

Let us remember in our thoughts and prayers those suffering from natural disasters in Haiti, Chile, and elsewhere, and the people from those countries and from around the world who have worked tirelessly and selflessly to render aid.  Let us pray for the families of the West Virginia miners, and the people of Poland who so recently and unexpectedly lost many of their beloved leaders.  Let us pray for the safety and success of those who have left home to serve in our Armed Forces, putting their lives at risk in order to make the world a safer place. As we remember them, let us not forget their families and the substantial sacrifices that they make every day.  Let us remember the unsung heroes who struggle to build their communities, raise their families, and help their neighbors, for they are the wellspring of our greatness.  Finally, let us remember in our thoughts and prayers those people everywhere who join us in the aspiration for a world that is just, peaceful, free, and respectful of the dignity of every human being.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim May 6, 2010, as a National Day of Prayer. I call upon the citizens of our Nation to pray, or otherwise give thanks, in accordance with their own faiths and consciences, for our many freedoms and blessings, and I invite all people of faith to join me in asking for God’s continued guidance, grace, and protection as we meet the challenges before us.

Today
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this thirtieth day of April, in the year of our Lord two thousand ten, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-fourth.

BARACK OBAMA

When the First Continental Congress convened in 1774, Thomas Cushing encouraged the delegates to begin their proceedings with prayer. Prayer has always been a foundational and important part of the USA.

Happy Earth Day 2010

Happy Earth Day 2010

Thanking God for His Beautiful Creation of Planet Earth!

In an article at ChristianPost.com entitled

Creation and Man“,

Chuck Colson says…

“…No doubt you’ll be seeing plenty of news coverage about rallies, marches, and activities associated with this major environmental commemoration…

Saving resources and money, ensuring our human habitat is clean and healthy, this is the stuff of good stewardship and common sense-things that especially we Christians should be known for. I say this knowing I’m going to get letters from concerned listeners…

After all, Christians are rightly concerned that extremists have turned Earth Day into ‘Worship-Earth Day’…

Our faith, our Christian worldview, tells us that the earth is good precisely because God created it and declared it good. It is worthy of our care, and indeed, we were commanded to tend it. Wasteful and immoderate use of natural resources is not a Christian virtue.

We must also realize that creation care begins with the care of the crown of creation: man, alone among living things, created in the image of God. In creating a clean sustainable environment, we do so primarily for humanity’s benefit…

Celebrate that God has created such a beautiful planet, populated by humans created in His own image, and that He has called us to tend His creation as His stewards.”

You can read the complete article “Creation and Man” by Chuck Colson at ChristianPost.com

Today is a great day to give thanks to God for His beautiful creation.

“The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof;
the world, and they that dwell therein.
For He has founded it upon the seas,
and established it upon the waters.

Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD
Or who shall stand in His holy place?

He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol,
Nor sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive the blessing from the LORD,
And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him,
Who seek Your face.”

— Psalm 24:1-6

Happy Earth Day!

Have you thanked God yet today for all His blessings?

Cheers,
Brenda

Growing Prosperity – 3 Insights Of What You See By Faith Is What You Get In Abundance!

Growing Prosperity – 3 Insights Of What You See By Faith Is What You Get In Abundance!

Seeing Through the Eyes of Faith

Growing prosperity needs to be in your vision before it can abound in your life.

If you have subscribed to the saying:

“I’ll believe it when I see it”…

then you are probably still waiting around for abundance to be physically manifest in your life.

The fact is: If you only believe the things that you can physically see and touch, then unfortunately you are lacking the faith needed to create a life of growing prosperity.

3 Insights of ‘What You See By Faith Is What You Get In Abundance’:

1. Real Vision to Prosper Through the Eyes of Faith

Looking back through time, we see that the prosperous individuals of real ‘vision’ subscribe to the overriding principle of “What you see by faith is what you get.”

What is the powerful difference here? These people understand that the images in their minds actually precede the images of the physically manifested objects.

Men and women of vision expect the images in their minds to come to pass in the physical world. Regardless of critics speaking contrary to their vision, they have faith in what is initially only visible in their mind’s eye.

“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
— Hebrews 11:1

2. Prospering as Your Mind Prospers

The mind is a magnificent thing and allows us the creative power of thought. Understand that images are mental pictures made from our thoughts and we can choose to create whatever images we desire. We are the directors of our own life movie.

Our soul (mind) must embrace prosperity first. We must have the will and desire to prosper.

“Beloved, I wish above all things that you might prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.”
— 3 John 2

Remember that we are a spirit; we have a soul (mind, will, and emotions), and live in a body. Our soul is the link that connects our spirit with our physical body. Our soul is our conscious mind that guides and directs our physical actions.

A prosperous soul will produce a prosperous image inside of us. If our soul is not prospering, we will have a bad image of failure, lack, defeat, or sickness.

Become aware of the truth that everything we do is preceded by an image. First we think and form an image; then we do the work that will see the image expressed in our material world.

3. Vision That Inspires Prosperous Action

As we program our mind with positive, prosperous images, it eventually inspires us to also speak and confess these things by faith. The power of confession helps deposit the beliefs into our subconscious (heart).

“As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”
— Proverbs 23:7

We become the image and beliefs we allow in our heart. Our subconscious (often referred to as our heart) acts on what it has been programmed, and goes to work to make it a reality. Why not program your heart and mind with powerful, prosperous images from the Word of God and let that become a reality in your life?

Bottom line: We control our innermost thoughts, and the images we allow are what we attract. The prosperous images we see in our mind are what we will ultimately get in our life.

May you catch a vision of the abundance of God and create a life of growing prosperity!

Be blessed to be a blessing –

Meditation Results – What Are the 3 Most Effective Christian Meditation Techniques?

Meditation Results – What Are the 3 Most Effective Christian Meditation Techniques?

Christian Meditation Techniques that Get Results!

Christian meditation is vital for every believer.

Meditation can take on many forms and techniques.

This means there is no excuse not to…

meditate on God’s Word.

The following three keys will help you find the most effective Christian meditation techniques:

A Method of Meditation that Fits You

Remember there are many different ways and techniques to meditate God’s Word. Pondering, thinking deeply, affirming, contemplating, musing, and reflecting are some of the options. Speculating, memorizing, confessing, praying, reciting, singing, speaking, and focused study are also techniques that can be used to meditate on the Word of God.

Our goal?

To make our meditation time effective. In order to do that, we should start with a method that fits our personality. This will provide the best results in the short-term and long-term.

So, let’s say for example, you are someone who likes to read; then get alone and put your face in the Bible. Dig in and read, study, and take notes.

Or for example, if you are someone who learns best with audio; then listen to the Bible or scripture affirmations on CD. Or record your own.

There are so many resources and tools at our disposal today, including free and paid, that believers are truly without excuse when it comes to daily meditation. There are Christian meditation books, CDs, podcasts, etcetera.

Confess With Your Mouth

Regardless of the techniques chosen, it is EXTREMELY important to speak the Word of God out loud. We need to hear our self speaking and confessing Bible truths. This is how we get them planted into our heart and soul.

Hearing our self speak divine, scriptural truths is empowering to our spirit, mind, and body.

It also builds our faith. Faith increases when we hear others speak the Word of God, but it is even more effective when it is the confession of our own mouth.

“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of God.”
— Romans 10:17

The Power of Repetition

The final key point to make here about effective meditation techniques is repetition, repetition, repetition.

Look again at the above quote from Romans. Notice it does not say faith comes by hearing one time. It tells us we need to hear the Word of God over and over to build our faith.

No doubt about it: It is with daily confession and repetition that we unleash the power of the living Word of God in our lives. When the negative lies of the world are squeezed out, our lives will be transformed as we begin to speak the truths of God’s Word from the abundance of our heart!

Let me ask you this: What is stopping you from putting the power of Christian meditation to work in your life?

Cheers,
Brenda

Mark Schultz – Love Has Come – Music Video

Mark Schultz – Love Has Come – Music Video

“Love Has Come” – Music Video

Love has come.
Jesus already paid the price on the cross.
Every heart can now be set free.

And Jesus is going to return again. And there is coming a moment when every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and God is Love. Everyone will see that God is love and He sent His love for us all!

Although one day every knee shall bow and every tongue confess (have to affirm, no one will be able to deny the truth) that Jesus Christ is Lord, only those who choose to put their faith in Him, in this life, will have an everlasting relationship with Him after death.

God’s people have much to be excited about!

“And being found in fashion as a man,
He humbled himself, and became obedient to death,
even the death of the cross.
Wherefore God also has highly exalted Him,
and given Him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
of things in heaven, and things in earth,
and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that
Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
— Philippians 2:8-10
