Brandon Heath performs his song “The Light In Me” live on Air1 Radio.

“The Light In Me” Song Lyrics:

My life before You
I was a flame burning down
I was burning out
But You knew me better
For You there was never a doubt
Not since You gave me life

Something was different
I knew it the instant
You put the light in me

The spark
The shot to the heart
You are the hope that leads me
Out of the dark
You let Your love shine down
So that the world can see
You put the light in me

The light, You put the light in me
The light, You put the light in me
The light, You put the light in me
The light, You put the light in me

You are the Maker
You tell the sun when to rise
I’m just a house on a hill
But You make me brighter
Than all the stars in the sky
Keep me from growing dim

‘Cause in Your perfection
I’m just a reflection
So pull me closer to You
I’ll catch like a fire
And I’ll hold You higher
‘Cause You put the light in me

I’ll raise it high, I’ll let it show
From the roof tops down to the streets below
In day and night, You will be known
And all will see
You put the light in me

“Blessed are the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.”
— Psalm 89:15

Enjoy this song & God bless!

Brenda

Your Love by Brandon Heath – Christian Music Video

“Your Love” by Brandon Heath – Christian Music Video Live

“Your Love” by Brandon Heath

from the album “Leaving Eden”.

Brandon Heath plays “Your Love” in this music video
live in studio at K-Love radio.

“Your Love” Song Lyrics:

I felt it first when I was younger
A strange connection to the light
I tried to satisfy the hunger, I never got it right
I never got it right
So I climbed a mountain and built an altar
Looked out as far as I could see
And everyday I’m getting older, I’m running out of dreams
I’m running out of dreams

But your love, your love
The only thing that matters is
Your love
, your love
Is all I have to give
Your love is enough to light up the darkness
It’s your love, your love
All I ever needed is your love

You know the effort I have given
And you know exactly what it cost
And though my innocence was taken, not everything is lost
Not everything is lost, no
You’re the hope in the morning
You’re the light when the night is falling
You’re the song when my heart is singing

It’s your love
You’re the eyes to the blind man
You’re the feet to the lame man walking
You’re the sound to the people singing

It’s your love
Your love is all that I needed
All I ever needed is your love
All I ever needed is your love
Your love is all that I needed

All I ever needed is your love
Your love is all that I needed
It’s all I ever needed

“And these things we write to you that
your joy may be full.
This then is the message which we have
heard of Him, and declare to you,
that God is light,
and in Him is no darkness at all.”

— 1 John 1:4,5

“Whoever keeps His Word, in him verily
is the love of God perfected:
hereby know that we are in Him…

Again, a new commandment I write to you,
which thing is true in Him and in you:
because the darkness is past,
and the true light now shines…

He that loves his brother abides in the light,
and there is no occasion of stumbling in him.”
— 1 John 2:5,8,10

Enjoy this song and walk in the light of GOD’s love! 🙂

Love in Christ,

Give Me Your Eyes – Brandon Heath Music Video

Give Me Your Eyes – Brandon Heath Christian Music Video

“Give Me Your Eyes” by Brandon Heath

I love this song and the message…

How much this world would change for the better if we all began to pray that God open our eyes and hearts to see the needs of those around us! And that we then take action

This fast paced world of today, with all the technology that allows us to be so connected, still seems to have us running in circles – all consumed with ourselves and disconnected… not noticing those hurting around us.

Several years ago, there was an older man, who was semi-retired and started working part-time at the same company I was at. Soon after we met I kept getting this tugging inside me to invite him to church. But I kept putting it off and about two months after he started working there he took his life.

When I hear songs like this it reminds me that God is trying to get our attention – to look beyond ourselves – and to not only see the needs of others, but to have a heart of compassion that makes us actually do something.

How hard is the simple act of inviting someone to church? Especially if we feel the urge to invite someone specific and see they are in need. I do not know if I had invited my co-worker, if the outcome would have been different. All I know is I was supposed to do my part and I didn’t… and I regret that now.

Tomorrow is a new day. And we have new opportunities to do something as simple as give a smile and a kind compliment to someone – who knows what a difference that may make in their life!

May our eyes and hearts be opened with compassion to reach out in love to others.

God bless you,
Brenda
