“Beautiful” by MercyMe – Christian Music Video

“Beautiful” by MercyMe

from their album The Generous Mr. Lovewell

MercyMe performs “Beautiful” in this music video
and I dedicate this song to my two beautiful daughters.

“Beautiful” Song Lyrics:

Days will come when you don’t have the strength
When all you hear is you’re not worth anything
Wondering if you ever could be loved
And if they truly saw your heart they’d see too much

You’re beautiful
You’re beautiful
You are made for so much more than all of this

You’re beautiful
You’re beautiful
You are treasured, You are sacred, You are His
You’re beautiful

And praying that you have the heart to find
Cause you are more than what is hurting you tonight
For all the lies you’ve held inside so long
And they are nothing in the shadow of the cross

You’re beautiful
You’re beautiful
You are made for so much more than all of this
You’re beautiful
You’re beautiful
You are treasured, You are sacred, You are His
You’re beautiful

Before you ever took a breath
Long before the world began
Of all the wonders He possessed
There was one more precious
Of all the earth and skies above
You’re the one He madly loves enough to die

You’re beautiful
You’re beautiful
In His eyes

You’re beautiful
You are made for so much more than all of this
You’re beautiful
You are treasured, You are sacred, You are His
You’re beautiful
You’re beautiful
You are made for so much more than all of this
You’re beautiful
You’re beautiful
You are treasured, You are sacred, You are His

“I will praise You LORD;
for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
marvelous are Your works;
and that my soul knows right well.”
— Psalm 139:14

Enjoy this song and know you are beautiful in His eyes! 🙂

God bless you always,
Brenda

New Year, Fresh Start – 7 Exit Tips to Move You into the New Year with a Clean Slate!

New Year, Fresh Start – 7 Exit Tips to Move You into the New Year with a Clean Slate!

Out With the Old and In With the New

New Year Fresh StartA new year means a new start.

But first we need to look at the ‘out with the old’

before we look at the ‘in with the new.’

Why not start the New Year with a clean slate?

We all have skeletons in our closets;

those unpleasant things we are ashamed of

and hope nobody discovers about us.

But God can clean up our closets and wipe the slate clean.

He can give us a fresh new start and a clean slate in life so that we no longer care if others find out about our past, because God has cleaned it up and made all things new.

“Old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17

7 Exit Tips for the Year:

1. Take an Account of the Past Year

Make note of the people that have done you wrong and FORGIVE everyone of them. Release them, loose them, let them go, and let it drop.

Don’t let your anger cause you to sin, or let the sun go down on your wrath. (Eph 4:26) Remember, forgiveness does not condone behavior, but a lack of forgiveness hurts you. And if you don’t forgive others you hold yourself in unforgiveness. (Matt 6:14-15)

2. Forgive Yourself

Confess your sin and God will forgive you. (1 John 1:9) We are not to sin, but if we do, we have an advocate with the Father; because Jesus is righteous we are righteous in Him.

If God will forgive us, but we won’t, that is extreme arrogance and pride.

3. Examine Yourself

Ask yourself, “Where am I at in my faith?”

“Examine yourselves, whether you be in the faith; prove your own selves.”
— 2 Corinthians 13:5

4. Repent

Repent means to turn from our ways and change for the better. Repentance is a basic principle of the doctrine of Christ. Repent and face the New Year renewed.

5. Commit to Forget the Past

“Forget those things which are behind and reach for those things which are ahead.”
— Philippians 3:13

Let God wash away your sins and any heavy burden of guilt that you have been carrying with it. Leave them in the past and press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Phil 3:14)

6. Commit to Not Live on Past Successes

Don’t live on yesterday’s successes. Today is a new day and a new year is upon us; keep pressing forward. God does not want us to live on yesterday’s manna.

Don’t take record of the past. (Phil 3:8) Be busy about your Father’s business today. Commit to hunger after God’s Word daily.

7. Bury Past Events that Need to be Buried

Sometimes we need to bury past events.

“Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.”
— Hebrews 12:1-2

Before we start the race we have to first drop the weights holding us down. Strife, gossip, worry, fear, pride, arrogance, racism are just some of the many weights.

Now what? Take some time to let God help you exit the year with a clean slate. Let Him fill your New Year with love, joy, hope, peace, power, prosperity, and victory.

May you have a blessed and Happy New Year filled with growing prosperity!

Cheers,
Brenda

You Are More by Tenth Avenue North – Christian Music Video

“You Are More” by Tenth Avenue North – Christian Music Video

“You Are More” by Tenth Avenue North

from the album The Light Meets the Dark

Tenth Avenue North plays “You Are More” Live on Spirit 105.3 Radio.

“You Are More” Song Lyrics:

There’s a girl in the corner

With tear stains on her eyes
From the places she’s wandered
And the shame she can’t hide

She says, “How did I get here?
I’m not who I once was
And I’m crippled by the fear
That I’ve fallen too far to love”

But don’t you know who you are?
What’s been done for you?

Yeah don’t you know who you are

You are more than the choices that you’ve made
You are more than the sum of your past mistakes
You are more than the problems you create
You’ve been remade

Well she tries to believe it
That she’s been given new life
But she can’t shake the feeling
That it’s not true tonight

She knows all the answers
And she’s rehearsed all the lines

And so she’ll try to do better
But then she’s too weak to try

But don’t you know who you are?

You are more than the choices that you’ve made
You are more than the sum of your past mistakes
You are more than the problems you create
You’ve been remade

You are more than the choices that you’ve made
You are more than the sum of your past mistakes
You are more than the problems you create
You’ve been remade

‘Cause this is not about what you’ve done
But what’s been done for you

This is not about where you’ve been
But where your brokenness brings you to
This is not about what you feel
But what He felt to forgive you
And what He felt to make you loved

You are more than the choices that you’ve made
You are more than the sum of your past mistakes
You are more than the problems you create
You’ve been remade

You’ve been remade

“Therfore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:
old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17

Jesus washes our slate clean and in Him we are new creatures.

Enjoy this song and God bless you!

Your Love is a Song by Switchfoot – Christian Music Video

Your Love is a Song Live by Switchfoot – Christian Music Video

“Your Love is a Song” Live by Switchfoot

from the album “Hello Hurricane.”

Jon and Tim Foreman from Switchfoot play Your Love is a Song live on Air 1 Radio.

“Your Love is a Song” Lyrics:

I hear you breathing in
another day begins

The stars are falling out
My dreams are fading now, fading out

I’ve been keeping my eyes wide open
I’ve been keeping my eyes wide open

(Chorus)
Your love is a symphony
All around me
Running through me
Your love is a melody
Underneath me
Running to me

Your love is a song

The dawn is fire bright
Against the city lights

The clouds are glowing now
The moon is blacking out

I’ve been keeping my mind wide open
I’ve been keeping my mind wide open

Your love is a symphony
All around me
Running through me
Your love is a melody
Underneath me
Running to me

Your love is a song (X2)
Your love is strong

With my eyes wide open
I’ve got my eyes wide open
I’ve been keeping my hopes unbroken

(Chorus)

Your love is a song
Your love is a remedy
Your love is a song

“The LORD your God in the midst of you is mighty;
He will save, He will rejoice over you with joy;
He will rest in His love, He will joy over you
with singing.”
— Zephaniah 3:17

Enjoy this song and God bless!

Cheers,
Brenda

GrowingProsperity – Why Not Put Angels On Assignment to Help Manifest Abundance in Your Life?

GrowingProsperity – Why Not Put Angels On Assignment to Help Manifest Abundance in Your Life?

How Can You Put Your Angels to Work?

Angels on AssignmentGrowing prosperity is a lifelong process…

that can be helped along the way by putting

our angels on assignment.

Do you put your angels to work or…

have they been on an extended vacation?

God provided angels for us as ministering spirits to serve; so why not let them serve?

Angels – The Ministering Spirits of God

“Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” — Hebrews 1:14

If you are a child of God, an heir of salvation, then the supernatural beings, angels, the ministering spirits of God are here to minister for you.

The fact that angels are our fellow servants is something we don’t seem to realize. In Revelation 22 an angel appeared to John and he fell down to worship him. But the angel told John, “Don’t worship me, I am your servant.”

The angel also said he is of them which keep the sayings of this book. So if you are keeping the sayings of God’s Book, then the angels are your servants.

Angels on Assignment

Do you realize that angels are listening to the words we speak? What we say has a tremendous effect on what they do.

Many people like to think God is the only one that tells the angels what to do. Angels are called messengers and God does use them for that at times. But sometimes we give them assignments. They are listening to the words we speak in agreement with God’s Word to get their assignment.

If we say what God said, then we are assigning angels to go and cause that thing to manifest. Angels hearken to the voice of God’s Word. (Psalm 103:20) That is why speaking and confessing the Word of God puts the angels to work.

It is when we give voice to God’s Word that the angels will hearken to what we say. If you lay a scripture on your checkbook it won’t cause it to change. But if you give voice to words of promise and begin to confess them, it becomes an assignment for the angels standing by and listening.

Yes, it may take weeks, months, or even years, but rest assured they are working on it.

Sample Confession for Abundance:

‘As I sow bountifully, I reap bountifully. I am blessed coming in and blessed going out. Whatever I do prospers, because I am like a tree planted by the rivers of living water.’

Make no mistake about it: You can give voice to God’s Word and put your angels to work to see that those things spoken by you come to pass and manifest abundantly in your life.

May you put your angels on assignment by speaking the Word of God and enjoy an abundant life of growing prosperity!

Be blessed to be a blessing –

Cheers,
Brenda

Self-Control Where Are You Now?

Self-Control Where Are You Now?

Self-Control vs. Self-Indulgence

We interrupt our regularly scheduled programming to bring you this commercial announcement…

YES, you can say ‘No’ to that temptation that is dangling in your face today!

“Blessed is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that love Him…”
— James 1:12-16

When temptation comes, follow Jesus’ example (Matthew 4) and quote the Word of God. Memorize and have scripture verses ready and tell satan to get behind you because ‘It is written!’

Confess empowering verses like:

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
— Philippians 4:13

Keep yourself submitted to God.

“Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.”
— Galatians 5:16

Sin may be fun for awhile, but when it comes time to reap the consequences of the sin sown… well let’s just say the party’s over.

So the next time temptation comes, do fifty sit-ups and…

“Thanks be to God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ!”
— 2 Corinthians 2:14

Have a God blessed day! 🙂

Cheers,
Brenda

Godly Humility – How Can a Humble Heart Put You On the Road to Destination Greatness?

Godly Humility – How Can a Humble Heart Put You On the Road to Destination Greatness?

A Life of Humility that Leads to God’s Richest Blessings!

Godly Humility Leads to Destination GreatnessHumility needs to take root in the heart first…

and then it will begin to grow and expand

into every area of life.

Humility has to be taught to us by God

and is not generally something we easily learn.

“I believe the first test of a truly great man is his humility.”
— John Ruskin

Power to Change

Humility changes the way we see God and helps us submit our heart to Him. It changes the way we view others and gives us a servant’s perspective. Humility is not denial of self, but it is an embracing of God’s Word within us. It allows us to lay aside our personal wants and needs and adopt His desires and goals for our lives.

“Be clothed with humility: for God resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.”
— 1 Peter 5:5-6

Humbling ourselves under God’s hand allows Him to raise us up to greatness at the proper time. Keep in mind; greatness from our perspective is different from God’s. God is more interested in our humility than He is of our ‘great’ works.

Do you want to be blessed? Then develop a servant’s heart.

“Whoever, wishes to be great among you shall be your servant.”
— Jesus Christ (Matthew 20:26)

Destination Greatness

When we humble ourselves before God, we gain new strength and insight. God prepares us for greatness and blessing. He will often allow intense pressures and adversity to humble us and refocus our thoughts so that we begin to think the way He thinks. Pain, embarrassment, and criticism are like safety checks to keep us from becoming proud and arrogant.

When facing challenges, we have a choice. We can either be hardened by our circumstances or humbled by them. If we choose to be humbled, we will gain God’s perspective and quickly discover that He is guiding us to victory (spiritually and physically).

Don’t be fooled though; if we choose to have a hard heart, we open the door to bitterness and close-mindedness. And remember, God resists the proud. Pride and rebellion are the opposite of humility and they separate us from God.

God says He hates a proud look and a proud heart is a sin. (Proverbs  6:17, 21:4) Pride is not only dangerous it is destructive and does not fit who we are in Christ. Humility transforms us into the image of Christ and empowers us to stand strong through the storms of life.

Many people view humility as a sign of weakness, but it is not. It is a sign of strength and spiritual maturity.

How Do We Gain Godly Humility?

It starts with a commitment to study God’s Word and a willingness to submit to Him. Then God will begin to show each of us individually the steps we must take in our lives to gain true humility. God develops humility within us through the power of His Spirit.

Humility is not something we practice in church or to impress others. It must reflect our lifestyle and who we are deep inside.

“He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”
— Micah 6:8

In our love for God, we must be careful to walk humbly before Him. When we begin to understand the greatness of God’s love, humility will become our first choice. To bring God glory and honor simply because we love Him is at the heart of true humility.

Needless to say: Living a life of humility may not be easy, but it certainly leads to God’s richest blessings.

May you humble yourself and experience all the abundant goodness God has for you and enjoy a life of growing prosperity!

God bless you –

Cheers,
Brenda
