13Meditation Results – What Are the 3 Most Effective Christian Meditation Techniques?
Filed in: Meditation by Admin on 04-13-10Meditation Results – What Are the 3 Most Effective Christian Meditation Techniques?
Christian Meditation Techniques that Get Results!
Christian meditation is vital for every believer.
Meditation can take on many forms and techniques.
This means there is no excuse not to…
meditate on God’s Word.
The following three keys will help you find the most effective Christian meditation techniques:
A Method of Meditation that Fits You
Remember there are many different ways and techniques to meditate God’s Word. Pondering, thinking deeply, affirming, contemplating, musing, and reflecting are some of the options. Speculating, memorizing, confessing, praying, reciting, singing, speaking, and focused study are also techniques that can be used to meditate on the Word of God.
Our goal?
To make our meditation time effective. In order to do that, we should start with a method that fits our personality. This will provide the best results in the short-term and long-term.
So, let’s say for example, you are someone who likes to read; then get alone and put your face in the Bible. Dig in and read, study, and take notes.
Or for example, if you are someone who learns best with audio; then listen to the Bible or scripture affirmations on CD. Or record your own.
There are so many resources and tools at our disposal today, including free and paid, that believers are truly without excuse when it comes to daily meditation. There are Christian meditation books, CDs, podcasts, etcetera.
Confess With Your Mouth
Regardless of the techniques chosen, it is EXTREMELY important to speak the Word of God out loud. We need to hear our self speaking and confessing Bible truths. This is how we get them planted into our heart and soul.
Hearing our self speak divine, scriptural truths is empowering to our spirit, mind, and body.
It also builds our faith. Faith increases when we hear others speak the Word of God, but it is even more effective when it is the confession of our own mouth.
“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of God.”
– Romans 10:17
The Power of Repetition
The final key point to make here about effective meditation techniques is repetition, repetition, repetition.
Look again at the above quote from Romans. Notice it does not say faith comes by hearing one time. It tells us we need to hear the Word of God over and over to build our faith.
No doubt about it: It is with daily confession and repetition that we unleash the power of the living Word of God in our lives. When the negative lies of the world are squeezed out, our lives will be transformed as we begin to speak the truths of God’s Word from the abundance of our heart!
Let me ask you this: What is stopping you from putting the power of Christian meditation to work in your life?
Cheers,
Brenda

11Powerful Leadership – A Positive Attitude in Leaders Produces Results in More Ways Than One!
Filed in: Leadership by Admin on 04-11-10Powerful Leadership – A Positive Attitude in Leaders Produces Results in More Ways Than One!
A Valuable Leadership Skill Worth Improving!
Leadership skills are valuable and always worth improving.
As a leader grows and develops, it not only helps improve their life, but the lives of those around them.
A key skill to develop and maintain is a positive attitude.
Why?
Men and women rise and fall everyday because of their attitude.
“Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude.”
– Thomas Jefferson
Positive Attitude – The Critical Factor in Leadership
If you really want to go anywhere as a leader, you have to examine your attitude! Whatever attitude you accept at this time is a critical factor in determining the success or failure of your future.
Too often people never come to a place of leadership where God wants them. Or they don’t produce the results that are expected, because of a negative attitude. A leader may want God to use them, but He is saying “No” because of their sour, nasty attitude. A negative attitude will hinder a leaders potential.
And don’t be one that points the finger of blame at others, especially as a leader. Each persons attitude is their own responsibility.
Often times, people with bad attitudes don’t know that they have one. But if you are a leader and find yourself pointing the finger of blame at others regularly, that may be a great reason to examine the condition of your own thoughts and heart.
Positive Attitude – Helping Leaders Produce Positive Results
Understand that the attitude a leader has toward how they view and handle things, will determine the results they produce. As long as a leader is viewing things negatively, they are going to get negative results.
Leaders should not let other people govern their production and outcome. Leaders must have an “I can” attitude. Many people miss opportunities and promotions that God has for them, because they let someone else determine their attitude.
Of course as a leader, challenges are always going to come and attempt to get you to accept a bad or negative attitude. But remember it is a critical factor to have a positive, ‘I can’ attitude about what you are doing in order to produce positive results.
The results not only show up in the life of the leader, but in the life of those being led. This is the case whether it is a leadership role in a family, ministry, or business. You can make a difference.
“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked rule, the people mourn.”
– Proverbs 29:2
Bottom line: A leaders attitude will create results. It is up to the leader to choose the attitude they will put on for the results they desire. A leadership role should require a positive attitude and one that produces positive results.
May you be a leader that maintains a positive attitude and a life of growing prosperity!
God bless you -

29What is the Difference Between Christian Meditation and Biblical Affirmations?
Filed in: Affirmations by Admin on 03-29-10What is the Difference Between Christian Meditation and Biblical Affirmations?
Discover How Meditation and Affirmations Compare and Can Transform Your Life!
Christian meditation involves renewing our minds with the Word of God.
Christian meditation and biblical affirmations literally help transform our lives by changing the content of our hearts and minds.
This changes the way we think… Why?
The simple fact of the matter is: The more healthy our beliefs, the quicker we reject unhealthy ones.
How do meditation and affirmations differ? Affirming scripture is considered a form of meditation. Affirmations help take negative thoughts captive by replacing them with God’s Word.
Christian Meditation
There are various methods and ways for Christians to meditate. One might study, consider, confess, memorize or use positive biblical affirmations to name a few. When we meditate, we contemplate and reflect on the things of God with a deep focus.
Meditation is a way to approach God and gain a greater understanding of Him.
“The meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.”
– Psalm 49:3
When we meditate we take in the Word of God and gain nourishment and wisdom. The scriptures begin to fit together for us much better and the mysteries of God begin to be revealed.
Meditating God’s Word is meditating His ways and His will. Gaining a greater revelation of these things helps us to better please God and at the same time learn how to walk in His blessings.
Biblical Affirmations
Biblical affirmations are bible verses stated in a positive, first person, present tense form. The power of affirmation comes with repetition and speaking them out loud. Daily confessing and speaking what the Word of God says about us can truly be life-transforming.
Most often, affirmations will be confessed based on a desired area of life that is in need of help or encouragement. If that area, for example, is healing, then a selection of healing scriptures will be confessed over and over. These might include healing affirmations such as: “By Jesus stripes I am healed” and “My God is the Lord that heals me.”
These affirmations get deposited into our subconscious, and our subconscious takes in everything as if it is real. So what we repeatedly fill our hearts and minds with is what we eventually become.
“As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”
– Proverbs 23:7
The Bible emphasizes in Luke 6:45 that a good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good, for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart. So we need to pay attention to what we are filling up our heart with.
The truth is: What we think about and talk about we manifest in our life, whether good or bad. Christian meditation and biblical affirmations play a vital role in the believer’s life.
How often are you meditating on God’s Word?
God bless you -
Cheers,
Brenda

23Empowerment – How to Ramp Up Your Confidence and Put an End to Fear and Anxiety!
Filed in: Self-Confidence by Admin on 03-23-10Empowerment – How to Ramp Up Your Confidence and Put an End to Fear and Anxiety!
Start Tapping Into Your Full Potential
Empower yourself with bold confidence.
Do not let the fear factor paralyze your potential. Fear works to ruin lives. It makes us withdraw and turn away from our dreams. It eats away our confidence and self-esteem. It holds us back from reaching our potential.
Dale Carnegie said, “You can conquer almost any fear if you will only make up your mind to do so. For remember, fear doesn’t exist anywhere except in the mind.”
Doing it Afraid
Have you had so much fear and anxiety in your life for so long now, that you can’t see how you can ever be free from it?
Well, you can shake loose the powerful hold it has over you by facing it head on. Each time you boldly confront fear; you squash it smaller and smaller and empower yourself with confidence.
Courage is required to face those things we fear the most. No doubt it is not easy to break the negative stronghold fear sets up in our life. But it can be done by taking steps forward and doing it afraid.
Remember, fear causes us to turn away from our dreams and goals. So each time you courageously take a step forward toward your goals and act even in the midst of fear, you begin to squash your fears and build your confidence.
Empowering Faith
Faith provides the confidence to be a success. Fear, on the other hand, is the source of worry, anxiety, depression, and other tormenting emotions.
What can we do to help prevent fear in the first place? We can look to God and trust in His faithfulness and be confident that He will help us. The person who trusts in God has confidence that God will work all things together for good. (Romans 8:28)
Faith empowers us with confidence and gives us boldness to act in the midst of fear.
“We may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do to me.”
– Hebrews 13:6
Faith brings a supernatural peace that allows us to enjoy life with confidence and free from the torment of fear. God says He did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)
Put this to the test right away. Call on God to help ramp up your confidence; so you can put an end to fear and anxiety. Hold onto strong faith and begin to replace your fears with confidence and watch what God can do!
May you enjoy a life empowered with faith filled confidence and growing prosperity!

Meditation for the Christian Believer – How Will Meditating on God’s Word Benefit My Life?
Powerful, Life-Changing Benefits from Christian Meditation!
Christian meditation can benefit our lives in more ways than we can count.
True meditation comes from the heart and with a desire to please God;
not with an attitude of what’s in it for me.
A key point to note: The Bible commands us to meditate and obedience to God’s Word always benefits our life.
Meditation on God’s Word Draws Us Closer to Him and Brings Blessings
Christian meditation is based on the Word of God. Meditating daily helps reveal God and causes us to be blessed. David discovered this too, and tells us in Psalm 1:1-2 that those who delight themselves in the law of the Lord and meditate on it day and night are blessed.
Meditation on God’s Word is time spent with God. And like all relationships, time invested helps make it stronger and more intimate.
Life and Grace Come Out of the Word of God
From the Word of God comes life. God has already given us everything that pertains to life and godliness (spiritual training). Grace and peace are multiplied through the knowledge of God and His divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. (2 Peter 1: 2-3)
Meditation taps into a source of blessings that goes beyond the natural world. It allows us to tap into the very life of God.
Our Purpose, Inheritance, and the Promises of God are Revealed in His Word
We were created for a purpose. And looking to our Creator will reveal His plan, so that we can live a fulfilling life. The Lord says He has plans to prosper us and not to harm us; plans to give us hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)
“We have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things after the counsel of His own will.” – Ephesians 1:11
If we want to know God’s will for our lives, then we need to read His will. How can we claim our inheritance if we don’t know what belongs to us?
God’s Word is loaded with the next promise just waiting to be launched in our life. The Bible tells us we have been given exceeding great and precious promises so that we might be partakers of His divine nature. (2 Peter 1:4) God delights in honoring His promises that we bring to Him.
Mark my words: Meditating brings about revelation of God’s Word and causes us to act on it. This in turn results in the manifestation of God’s promises and blessings in our lives. A purposeful, victorious life comes when we are connected to the life of God.
Is Christian meditation a part of your daily life?
God bless you,
Brenda

22Christian Meditation – How To Get Started Meditating God’s Word Simply and Easily?
Filed in: Meditation by Admin on 02-22-10Christian Meditation – How To Get Started Meditating God’s Word Simply and Easily?
Discover Tips on Where, How, and When to Meditate
Christian meditation is very natural and should be a normal part of every believer’s life.
Keep in mind, as with anything new…
there can be a time of adjustment getting meditation fit into the normal flow of our daily schedule.
Now, how do we go about meditating?
Where and How Should I Meditate?
Meditation can take place almost anywhere. It is probably best to find a quiet, comfortable place with some privacy. A natural setting is ideal. Really, though, it is possible to meditate where ever you find yourself. In your room, at your desk, walking in the park, driving in your car; all of these are just a few options.
Where we meditate is going to depend on the type of meditation and technique to be used.
For example if we intend to do an intense study on a specific subject, we are going to need a quiet, private place where we can read and take notes. The same might be the case in times of meditative prayer confessing scripture and opening our hearts to hear from the Lord.
However, if we’ll be listening to a recording of biblical verses and affirmations to memorize and confess, we could do this while driving or doing daily chores around the house. If you start doing your meditation in the same place every day, your mind and body will begin to know your intention and it will make the process even easier.
What Should I Meditate?
What should we focus on in Christian meditation? There are almost endless subjects from the Word of God to meditate on. The following verse will help us out and is also a great one to check our self with throughout the day.
“Whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” – Philippians 4:8
We might just open the Bible and reflect on something that jumps out and speaks to our heart, or a certain scripture might come to mind. God might also give us an intense interest in a subject as a cue for meditation.
When Should I Meditate?
Christian meditation can take place just about any time. However, there are two key times we can actively turn our minds over to God’s Word for maximum results.
Upon awakening, filling our minds with God’s Word first thing in the morning is a great way to start the day. Meditating on the Word of God just before falling asleep will replay it over and over in our mind during the night.
Regardless of the where, how, what, and when: Our relationship with God should be a priority. Daily time in God’s Word will allow Him to speak to us throughout the day. The divine light can shine in our life through Christian meditation.
Why not purpose to make it a daily habit and get started meditating today?
God bless you,

16Empowerment: Top 7 Reasons Why You Should Live Empowered with Self-Confidence!
Filed in: Self-Confidence by Admin on 02-16-10Empowerment: Top 7 Reasons Why You Should Live Empowered with Self-Confidence
Live Empowered with a Healthy Self-Confidence!
Empowerment with self-confidence plays a vital role in how we live our lives.
The self-confident person has faith in their own abilities and judgment.
And believe me…
Life flows along much easier for those who are empowered with confidence in who they are.
Top 7 Reasons to Live Empowered with Self-Confidence
1. Self-Confidence Explores Life
How can you explore what life has to offer and what you are capable of doing if you lack faith in yourself? Keep in mind the opposite of faith is fear. And fearful people tend to be stuck living as puppets and never able to explore their true potential.
2. Loving Yourself Equals Loving Your Neighbor
How can we love our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 19:19), if we don’t even like ourselves? Learn to like yourself, so you can eventually love yourself. It is a vital key to living empowered.
Stop telling yourself you are a useless, ugly, good-for-nothing. In order to effectively love your neighbor, you first need to be able to say “I Love Me” too.
3. Confidence is Contagious
How can we encourage others who are struggling in life if we are constantly walking around with a negative, low opinion of ourselves? Confidence is contagious and should be passed around. When we walk in confidence and assurance, it helps lift up and encourage others around us who are weak.
4. Rise to the Top with Confidence
How can living a life with low self-esteem bring out the best you have to offer? Quit saying I can’t do this and I can’t do that, and start confessing that you can be all God created you to be. Confidence is a leadership building quality.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13
5. Confidence Gives a Positive Edge
How can a lack of self-confidence, and a mind that is full of negative thoughts, result in a positive outlook on life?
If you want a positive edge then develop your self-esteem. Confidence can empower your life with positive energy and positive actions. A healthy self-confidence allows you to live from a positive base.
6. Self-Confidence is the Power to Overcome Rejection
How can a person expect to handle the rejections of life without a strong self-confidence? We all have to deal with rejection in life and it usually starts at an early age. Rejection can cause much pain and develop an overwhelming inferiority complex.
It takes the empowerment of self-confidence to deal with the attacks of rejection. Instead of constantly asking “what is wrong with me?” a healthy level of confidence refuses to be intimidated. Self-confidence provides the understanding to know that we do not reject ourselves, simply because someone else does.
7. True Self-Confidence Glorifies God
How can we live a life that glorifies God if we live by fear instead of faith? True self-confidence comes when we are strong and confident in the Lord. Our self-confidence should be grounded by faith in God. Living a victorious life by faith glorifies God.
“Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you that hope in the Lord.” – Psalm 30:24
Now that you’ve read the above seven reasons; doesn’t it make sense to develop your self-confidence?
Do yourself a favor: Live empowered with self-confidence. But, be warned; you are not the center of the universe – God is. However, it is possible to walk boldly and confidently as a child of God, and at the same time maintain a humble heart.
May you live empowered with healthy self-confidence and growing prosperity!

05Christian Leadership: How Can a Spirit of Excellence in Leaders Bring Growing Prosperity?
Filed in: Leadership by Admin on 02-05-10Christian Leadership: How Can a Spirit of Excellence in Leaders Bring Growing Prosperity?
Powerful Leaders Choose a Spirit of Excellence!
Leaders should continually strive for a spirit of excellence, especially Christians.
As leaders, we must pursue excellence all along our journey of life and not think of it as a destination.
Maintaining a spirit of excellence creates positive results and growing prosperity.
We serve a God of excellence and we should desire to have excellence come out of us.
“O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth!”
– Psalm 8:1
A Lack of Excellence Equals a Lack of Prosperity
Not everyone has had the privilege of being raised in an environment that operated in a spirit of excellence. Too often chaos and confusion are the norm. A lack of excellence in an environment tends to create a victim’s mentality in people.
How on earth can progress be made when the conduct of a leader or group is lazy, slothful and non-committed?
Where there is no commitment to excellence, there is no promotion or growing prosperity. People may seek excellence and prosperity in life, but nothing is going to happen until the excuses and victim mentality stops.
People, whether they know it or not, are looking for excellence, and it should be required in leaders.
A Spirit of Excellence Brings Promotion
Excellence always takes us to another level and causes things to happen. If we want more, we have to be determined to shake off a slothful spirit and put on an excellent spirit; in order to bring out our full potential.
Excellence often requires doing something we have never done before. It requires us to stretch in all areas of our personal growth. This does not go unnoticed to others or God. Leaders that have a spirit of excellence will get God’s attention and allow Him to take them to another level.
We see examples of this all throughout the Bible and throughout history. Take a look at how Daniel was promoted because of an excellent spirit.
“Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.”
– Daniel 6:3
Excellence is something leaders must continually work on and strive to improve and develop in themselves. Keep in mind; none of us are perfect and have it all together. This area of life, like all others, requires that we seek God daily for His help.
Believe me. As a leader, there might be areas in your life that other people don’t think you excel at, but once you start working and striving towards a life of excellence others will take notice. You will grow as a leader, and just like Daniel, you will find that a powerful spirit of excellence puts you in position for promotion!
May you continually pursue a spirit of excellence and experience a life of growing prosperity.
God bless you -
Cheers,
Brenda
P.S. Has there been a time in your life you experienced a promotion because you were operating with a spirit of excellence? If so, feel free to share and encourage others…
